1. I have noticed, that my non-lucids are getting more detailed and vivid after I started lucid dreaming, practicing daytime awareness and writing my dreams in great detail in my DJ.
2. If you trying to WILD, your main goal is to fall asleep. If you are too awake when starting the attempt, just try to fall asleep normally and start WILDing when you get more sleepy. I think you are concentrating too hard on paying attention on how to WILD.
3. DILDs should not be influenced by lack of vividnes of your regular dreams, only by your recall. (If you don't remember regular, you may not remeber lucid either.)
4. You could start practicing daytime awareness, mantras RCs and write in your DJ. DILD could be your backup plan, in case your WILD doesn't work out. Hope this helps ;alien:
