      Pain during Sleep Paralysis

Since last year ,i had many lucid dreams , mostly DEILDs .The thing that annoys me is that i can feel extreme pain from time to time during SP.
It usually happens like this : I wake up from a dream , don't move and enter SP, i wait a few seconds and suddenly i start to feel like somthing is inside my guts, and it starts to move and rip everything apart, it hurts like a mother*ucker. It feels like someone just stabbed you in the stomach and then started to move the knife all over it...It's just umbearable .. it's a good thing if i suddenly enter the LD and i feel no pain after that, but most of the times i just have to exit sleep paralysis..
Has anyone else experienced this, or know how to keep this crap from happening again..?

Try to divert your mind from it. HI and tactile sensations can be altered to a certain extent the same lucid dreams. It's a little more work, but keep in mind that it's literally all in your head and none of it is real. You could try keeping your mind occupied by thinking of the dream scene that you want when thing start materializing. That normally works for me.

I know it sounds crazy, but it's probably in your head. Because it happened, now you always think 'when SP comes, I'll get this pain.' and so you do!

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper

This. Replace your current expectations of pain with some more pleasant expectations.

I sometimes still go through this. Being hyper-aware during SP can cause some crazy symptoms. Sometimes I feel a great pressure on my head and jump out of bed involuntarily. It's best to try to visualize when you first feel the vibrations of SP. This greases the grooves of dreaming.

I get some crazy hallucinations during sleep paralysis. Try to keep positive expectations. Expect good things. Even if something nightmarish starts happening, change your attitude to embrace it. It is hard to imagine doing, but easy when it is all happening, because the hallucination changes along with your attitude.

when I first started getting SP, I would sometimes feel my muscles like contracting really tight and it would hurt pretty bad. But as many said before, You just have to realize its all in your head and doesnt hurt if you don't want it to. Thats what I did and now I just feel vibrations and it feels cool
