to me, lucidity feels like i'm awake. i get happy that i'm in a lucid dream, and then i just think about want i want to do. |
|
I have returned, but I'm not the same
I'm a shadow, a shell, it's no longer a game
Peace is dead, peace is gone
All that remains is a chilling song
For me it has been a mix. In the beginning it was always a rush that was so strong it woke me up. After about 4 of those I find myself either getting a strong rush or a calm realization. |
|
For me, i have always sensed something strange, i then ask somebody if i am dreaming, throwing reality checks out the window. When i am actually lucid, it is as much a was of reality, as it is just the excitement. In my first lucid dream, was so exited that i just screamed YES! into the air. Even though there were no physical changes or waves of anything, it was still the best feeling i have ever experienced and is definitely worth pursuing. |

For me it really depends on the dream, sometimes I just acknowledge am dreaming and move on , other times I get a huge rush. Either way it is a fun experience. |

I'm more of a DEILD person, so I usually don't get that element of surprise thing, because I'm already aware I'm going into a dream, but I'm always excited to feel that weird "dream sensation." |

Great! A feeling of excitement and amazement. It feels like you are in control of everything and you are in a completely different and strange world from your own. |

I'm filled with energy whenever I become lucid. There's this deep sense of freedom and happiness. |

It feels really cool! |

For me it varies each time, Sometimes I become nervous and afraid, sometimes happy and excited and sometimes I feel nothing at all. |
|
As others have said it varies depending on the type of dream I am having and how active my conscious mind is. Sometimes it feels like I just don't like where this dream is headed or its a bit boring and I fly off to do something else. Most of the time it is like holy s*#t I am in a dream what the hell do I want to do now? I find it really depends on how I realise I am dreaming, if it is a sudden event that sparks lucidness or just a slow realisation that I'm dreaming. All I can really say it is one of the best experiences of your life to realise that you can do anything you have ever fantasized about doing possible or not in waking life with no consequences. The ultimate virtual reality! |
