Lucid usually means you realize you are dreaming, so if you do not realize it, you are not lucid. Often people refer to semi-lucid, but what that means is personal to each dreamer. Basically it is used for dream states that are more than normal dreams, but fall short of your own definition of truely lucid. |

Do you mean that you just randomly become lucid without doing a reality check or questioning your surroundings? If the answer is yes, than it is indeed possible. It happens to me all the time. If the answer is no, than i agree with the other posters. |

I agree with the masses however, if your question is can you enter a dream lucid without having a moment of realization then the answer is yes. I have entered many NREM dreams lucid from the get-go. But if you don't realize you are dreaming then it cannot be a lucid dream. |
