      First Lucid Dream??

Ok so I was dreaming and I was in a school and it started off in like a class and it went on for like 15 minutes (literally) and I remember walking down the corridors when i got this strange thought that I could be dreaming so I done the finger through palm reality check and sure enough my 2 fingers went through the other side, so I gathered I was dreaming and I believe it ended when I walked up these stairs and then my dream ended.

However I didn't feel excited or nothing? And it's not like I'm old I'm only 12 so I should be pretty excited right? Why wasn't I as excited as everyone else?

I think the most important part is when you gathered you are dreaming. That means you became lucid.

I think that most of the people get excited, but it's possible that some don't. So congrats!

Keep up your practice - your DJ, RCs, mantras and awareness. Read some stabilization tutorials. Good luck and Happy dreams

The lack of excitement could be a good thing. If I don't stay calm in my lucids, I wake up within seconds of realizing I'm dreaming. I'm practicing staying calm to prolong my lucids. I still have little mini lucids 4 or 5 times a week where I wake from the rush but it's getting easier to stay calm. Right now staying calm is my main obstacle. Consider yourself lucky Fuzzy.

      Good Luck!

Yh but I'm worried it takes away the amazement and surprise you usually should have for a first time

I think that will come as you get more vivid and longer lucids with more control/awareness. Don't be disappointed, just keep trying!
