      what should i do tonight?

im usually able 2 remember my dreams almost every day and i even though ive been getting lazy with my dreaming lately, i really want 2 start going lucid in my dreams. ive had a few short lucid experiences before but my lucidity ran out quickly. but anyway id like to start going lucid more frequently. what do i need to do to have lucid dreams on a regular basis without much effort?

ps. i just started my freshman year at high school so thats why ive been kinda lazy with my dreaming effort

Well, I hate to say this, but if you not really into it, it may not work. Enthusiasm and intent are very important components.

For both methods (DILD and WILD), dream journal is important. It will help you remember your dreams and find usefull patterns in your dreams and habits.
Also for both methods - daytime awareness is a key to lucidity.

For DILDs - mantras and RCs should be added to the mix.

For WILD - you need to know the whole process. Great articles are in this WILD class. Happy dreams.

Be patient. It will take time and a bit of effort to start LDing on a regular basis. Wright down all the dreams you can remember in a dream journal. Get into the habit of RCing question if dreaming during the day time. If you get enough sleep I suggest doing a short wake back to bed at least once a night to make you more aware and give you a chance to wright down your dreams. Make sure its 4 or more hours after you go to sleep but at least 2 hours before you have to get up for school if you can. You can start practicing WILD techniques too but don't be discouraged if it doesn't get you a lucid on your first try.

I am really busy with school and stuff, but it's not stopping me. Why should it stop you? If you wanted to lucid dream that bad, then you would put some effort in and have some enthusiasm.

Take in what gab said, it will help a lot. Just remember - Awareness, effort and enthusiasm are very important, so be sure to work on them .

      Good luck! See you around.

I'm a junior, so I get how it seems difficult. But an RC doesn't take long, and even a WILD is at night. But if you're not motivated, it won't work
