So on Sunday night/Monday morning, I kept having false awakenings. It felt like 10 bazillion, but it was probably about 5. It wasn't necessarily that I felt like I was awake, but I kept looking at my phone for the time, but each time it kept changing. I had to wake up at about 6am that morning for work and my mind either tricked me into thinking I was late or I had plenty of time to sleep. But then each time I truly woke up, it was only an hour after this kept happening. Then it happened the next night, only not as many times. False awakenings happened a couple times, but thankfully I didn't have to wake up as early. And I actually woke up in SP, just without all the weird side effects, but I did have to really shake my body awake because it felt like I was paralyzed. So Tuesday, throughout the day, I used the mantra, "Next time I have a false awakening, I will realize I'm dreaming". Low and behold Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, it did not work. BUT in one of my dreams the scenery was very vivid with bright, beautiful colors. I was swimming with some other animals (even an elephant that could go under water) and I remember being underwater and not having to hold my breath. Another chance of my first lucid slipped away.

I swear my mind is teasing me. The past few nights were suppose to be my "break" from lucid dreaming (even though I haven't really tried in about a week) and I missed a couple of really good opportunities. Is there anything else I can easily practice through the day? It is hard with my job, though, because I basically work at a warehouse so I am constantly helping customers and being distracted all day.

Okay. Vent over.
