Hi guys,
First of all let me explain that this is purely a byproduct of what you are doing here, if you Solemnly use this just to achieve lucid dreaming well then I would find that quite wrong personally. So to start off I'm going to explain CALD in short because then this concept might be more easy to explain. Ok so CALD or Character Assisted Lucid Dream is basically a technique which requires you to have one lucid dream (for maximum effect) and when your in a lucid dream you can find a character to tell you that your dreaming when your dreaming.
The Negatives:
- About 75% of people fail using this technique,
- Most the time this dream character (who really is just a representation) will never come back,
- Nobody will get lucid every time with this technique,
So now that you know about CALD and its flaws it's a good time to start talking about the new technique. TALD or Tulpa Assisted Lucid Dream (note Assisted). Now let me guess your first question is going to be what's a tulpa, well here's the thing there's no set in stone definition of Tulpa, because everybody has different experiences, so I'm not going to give you a solid description. Basically a tulpa is a friend for life that lives in your mind. A tulpa techniqually has its own consciousness so that's why I'm stressing that you cannot have a tulpa just for lucid dreaming, that's just like using someone as a slave. So now you are going to have to create a Tulpa. But please don't abuse this infact I'm going to say at least 3 days of reasearch before you are certain you want to create one,you can find more information about Tuplas at Tulpa Land on this forum in the user forum section.

So now you have made a Tulpa, you have done everything it says on Tulpa Land and you have dedicated at least 2 months in to fully developing them. Please don't rush this stage this technique requires you to have a good friendship between each other. Now this is what you have got to do, ask your Tulpa "do you want to share a lucid dream with me?" They might not know what a lucid dream is so you might have to explain it to them. Now because nearly all tulpas love adventure they will say yes, so now you have got to tell them to share a lucid dream with me when I'm dreaming just tell me and we can have night adventures beyond are imaginations well something like that. So now if your tulpa bond is strong enough they will definantly appear in your dreams and tell you that this is a dream, lets go have these adventures we have been talking about. Now I know that this technique is super hard to grab a concept on, and mabye it might not even be your tulpa in your dreams but a exact copy of them. But here's a QnA for a anybody that has questions, or alternatively you could just ask me.

Well this all depends on what you believe in, this depends on belief but the concept it self has been around for ages and many people across the world have tulpas, even on this forum.

Well I can't it's as simple as that. But having a tulpa is amazing in its self so you should defiantly give it a shot if you have the dedication and time.

Your vs You're - e Learn English Language

This is almost completely incomprehensible and not your idea. What reason is there for this?

Also, the 'mind characters' popularised by Talon Arana on LD4All are just Tulpae by a different name.

What do you mean, this is almost completely incomprehensible is it that hard to understand. You make a tulpa you tell it to help you get lucid, got it? Sorry about this idea not being mine, I've never actually used LD4ALL and even if this is not my idea at what point did I say it was? And you saying about what the point is, I believe that is self explanatory the idea is to get you lucid. The only point that I think is valid is bobblehat's and the reason why is basically I was just about to go to school and I was using my Ipad so it automatically sets it to your. I'm sorry I didn't think it was that much of a big deal.

(Ctharlhie I actually found this quite rude and don't think that it's the best way to treat a relatively new member to this site, I believe that the wording of your reply was extremely rude towards me and many points which you explained are simply out of my control. For example how was I meant to know there was a post on LD4ALL)

OK, comments may have been rude. You may not like the idea of TALD or CALD, but everybody is free to post his ideas.

@Panda - you say you are new, so that explains that you have probably not read the many threads we have here about asking your DC to get you lucid. Many people have talked about, many have tried, but I don't think there was a single success. Sure, people do get lucid from some DC, but it's all random.

That's where our scepticism comes from.

Thanks for commenting, I do understand that not many people have success with CALD but to be honest TALD, this name may have been taken, is mostly different. Because DC's and DG's (dream guides) don't exist outside of your dreams so you don't have a real unique bond with them. Tulpas on the other hand still only exist in the mind, but they are real in a sense. Also because of the unique bond between a guy/girl and a tulpa you can almost know for certain that they will be in your dreams to tell you that what you are experiencing is in fact a dream. So talking to people in general now, I completely understand the skepticism and why its there, but if you actually experience what its like to have a tulpa you will understand why this technique has huge potential.
