Question Stuck between doing a DEILD or MILD/DILD

I tried DEILD before but failed to reach Hypnagogic state all 4 times, I don't even know if I reached REM Antonia, but still felt numb and it took a bit of will power to move.
As for MILD/DILD, I would like to try a combination of the two, (MILD not successful, double your chances with a DILD to back it up ).
I don't know if I should stick with DEILD or try M/D tonight or can I only preform one at a time?
Quite desperate to get a Lucid dream ATM, and for some reason, when I do WILD/DEILD and fail, I don't dream that day, nor have I dreamed since a week ago, when I discovered LDing. (maybe because I keep attempting WILDs? maybe i don't meditate long enough =/)

      But of help here?

You don't have to limit yourself to one method. Just make sure, you do them right.

When you wake up from a dream (best from lucid dream), and you remember not to move, try for a DEILD. If you moved, try for a WILD. If none of it works, go to sleep with some mantras and hope for a DILD.

Please read our tutorials, as they may be quite different from the ones you have read at other places.

      DV Academy WILD (sageous)
      DEILD (dutchraptor)
      Collection of techniques for DILD

Don't try to do too much at the time. You could read all the tutorials, and concentrate on just one method for a months. No matter which method you pick as your firs one (I recommend DILD), when situations presents itself for a DEILD or WILD, you will remember what to do from reading those tutorials. Good luck

Like Gab said, i would just combine them both. Perform Mild when going to sleep, and practice DEILD sometime in the middle of the night. If i had to choose one however, MILD usually works best for beginners and DEILD is better for intermediate and up lucid dreamers.

The best way to become familiar with DEILD is to first learn DILD and then use DEILD to extend or chain together LDs when they destabilize.

So first focus on DILD. MILD is just a system for inducing DILDs. When you start succeeding with DILDs, you will experience LDs that destabilize. That's the time to practice DEILD. You can throw in WILD every now and then if you have the time and patience. But DILD should be the core of your practice in the beginning.

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
