      Lightbulb Getting better at visualization?

      I need help with getting better at visualization. and for the sake of others as well, i thought it would be cool if we could just discuss it here. Thanks.

      I'll assume we are talking about visualizing for WILD? Some people are better at it than others.

      I can't see the image I'm trying to visualize. I only 'remember' how it looks like in my minds eye. But I can't see it.

      But, not all is lost, if you want to visualize to perhaps incubate a dream or to initiate the dreaming process for WILD. All I do is I think about my previous day. Nothing will happen while I'm still too awake. But as I'm getting closer to falling asleep, I notice either my "thoughts" starting to form into images and sometimes they get a life of their own. Or some unrelated images and movies start forming in my field of view, like watching tv.

      So, I would say, if you can't really visualize, all you have to do is think about your day, or replay any cool previous dream. When close to falling asleep, these will take off on their own and may or may not show up in your dream.

      While Gab is certainly correct in that some people visualise better than others, it is a trainable skill.
