Post all those times you were lame and failed to use sleep paralysis to induce lucid dreaming.

So this morning I was obsessed with waking up. I think it was because my stomach was growling and I just wanted cereal. I could hear my family eating breakfast in the kitchen (real life). I open my eyes but my vision is so blurry and weird because I'm really not awake. I think 'wait for me!'. But I just can't keep my eyes open. Oh well.

I close my eyes and I felt like my brain was falling asleep. You know that tingling sensation when your hand falls asleep? Thats what it felt like on the right side of my head. As it got all tingly I thought 'oh thats okay, ill just fall asleep again'. And then suddenly, it felt like someone took a vacuum to the right side of my head and they were trying to suck my brains out! It was scary! I scream "STOP!". But when I open my eyes of course there's no one there.

I was at least happy to finally be awake. Wait no? I'm still asleep. My room is all wrong and wonky. My desk is missing. Its white and empty. And there's a ironing board staring at me. WHY IS IT STARING AT ME! I couldn't move. But the ironing board keeps getting closer and closer to my face. HOW ANNOYING! I slap it down. I close my eyes and try again to wake up.

I can't move. I don't even have the energy to try. I think "lift, lift". Finally I roll out of bed and make my way to the bathroom. Wait, somethings wrong. I can't feel anything! Damn I'm still asleep.

I close my eyes again and try again. I lift my body again, but this time I know its still the dream because I feel weightless. Damn! I try again. The only way for me to finally move my physical body, was to take a really deep breath, like I'm about to jump in a pool.

I finally lift my real waking eyes! I lift my body out of bed just to confirm I'm actually here. It took all of my effort. Half-awake, I don't even remember anymore why I was such in a rush to wake up? Why did I want to wake up? I look at my clock and decide to sleep some more. I close my eyes and pass out for an hour.

      lol...sigh.

I remember once, I was traveling in a bus; got aboard around 4:30 am, it didn't took much time for me fell asleep...
I don't remember the time but the sun had comfortably risen in sky(it was summer so still early)... something happened and I woke up, may be the bus hit a bump, whatever may be the reason, I was awake just mentally, not physically, I was able to think in a rational manner but was not able to open my eyes, move my hand or do any physical moment.
Back then I didn't knew about sleep paralysis and hence I was terrified; I was trying desperately to be able to move my body.
I started with my hands, tried to lift them; I was concentrating on my hand and focusing my energy to move it, each attempt was failed; then I thought if I could open my eyes, thought that would be easier than moving my hand, again I wasn't doing any progress; I was desperate and trying to move any possible part, just then the bus hit a speed-breaker or may be a pothole, the sudden jerk helped me move my body and thus I was able to brake my sleep paralysis...
Now when I see back to this situation I wished I could have enjoyed it more cause getting stuck in sleep paralysis is rare event for me.

That's a rare event indeed! Its probably happened becuase of the odd time you boarded, they say a disrupted sleeping pattern can cause SP.

I had another experience the other morning with lots of 'hags'. I was having a really awesome dream and it was starting to fade on me, it felt like I was waking up. My whole dream fades to a sunny bright white (the sun does hit my room in the morning, so i think natural sunlight did bleed into the dream). I feel a weird dizzying pressure all around me, actually it felt more like really bad vertigo. At the same time I found myself on a blinding white bed in a blinding white room.

Everything was blinding white except for the shadow beings standing over my bedside. At first I was scared so I tried to wake up. But i couldn't move or force myself awake so I felt pretty much stuck there. And the room still kinda feels like its not stable? I tried to think rationally what's the best thing to do now. I figured the shadow beings must be dream characters so maybe if I thought of them as friendly...then they'll be friendly? One of them comes even closer, standing right over me.

I ask him to help me up! I offer him my left palm, get me out of this bed! He grabs my palm, digs his claw in my skin and then tries to bend my fingers backwards. Needless to say the pain snapped me out of it and I was finally awake (so i guess he was helpful, lol?). Fail! I realized they were dream characters but I didnt consider that I could just close my eyes and enter a dream scene.

And I'm mostly typing this out so I can remember next time.....
