      Recurring problem with alarm clock

Hey forums, I've been having a problem recently. Every night, I attempt to WILD by setting an alarm clock for 4:00 which is 5-6 hours after I go to sleep. The problem is that I don't hear it, but when I wake up the next morning, the alarm switch is in the off position. I have absolutely no memory of getting up in the night to turn the alarm off, and I am positive that I turned the switch to "on" the night before. I did not drink alcohol before bed. The only explanation I can come up with is that I am sleepwalking when i turn the alarm off, though I have no history of that. This has happened 3 times in a short timespan, and it's really annoying because I want to be able to at least start my wilds. Any advice would be appreciated.

put your alarm far away from your bed so that you have to stand up and walk to turn it off

other idea : have multiple alarms in your bedrooms

Yeah - I usually set a loud alarm on my phone and put it well away from within reaching distance of the bed..

I had the same problem. Happened allot. I put the alarm away so that I should get up, and I ready a chair to immediately sit on when I turn the alarm off, so I wouldn't sit on my bed(we all know what happens next).

Sorry, I forgot to mention that part. My alarm clock actually is across the room from my bed.

Edit: I like that chair idea though, I'll try it.

Cosmic vision there is some things you can get on your phone that makes you answer questions like math and you can set the level.

My guess is that you wake up and just forget the awakening (like you forget most dreams).

I would recommend drinking some water before bed to supplement that. It will either make it so that you will wake up at a different time than the alarm, or you will wake up more to the alarm and have to use the bathroom as well, increasing your chance to wake up and remember the awakening.

Also, almost every person (not every. ) that has problems waking to an alarm is not getting enough sleep. You may get enough sleep the night of, but youare probably not getting enough sleep the three nights bbefore (in my opinion, the amount of nights you need to set your sleep schedule right).

I like that math app idea.
I also forget waking at night for WBTB, even when I put the alarm far away. That's why the chair thing helps, and I'd have to set an intention to sit on the chair when I wake up. Another idea is to bring a cooking pan, place the alarm in it, and put a paper on top with "SIT" or "WAKE UP" written on it in big size.(of course, without the pan's cover), or anything creative like that.

oh, (how did I forget?!?) my remedy for most things as well:

hold your breath. Just try holding your breath as long as you can when you wake up. See what happens.
