You have to stabilize without fear of loosing your dream, but usually the motivation is fear of losing the dream, so.. |
|
Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
I think your problem is similar to mine... I've had many small lucid dreams, and almost all the same as yours (dark, or blurry), but it's because it happens on the end of REM cycle... meaning you was about to wake up. |

I've never got excited when became lucid, idk why, but every time I got lucid i've fallen back to normal dream (probably because of blurriness) and ended up dreaming about being lucid, I do unreal stuff, but ridiculous things, things I'd never do. |

Use it to your advantage then! Maybe create a dream goal you can carry out when you come to a realization that your dreaming, as to not waste any time thinking "Hmm... What to do, what to do?" And also, like i had previously said, try out different stabilization techniques to see if they have a better effect on clearing up the blur you experience. |

This always happens to me! I seem to always get lucid just as I'm about to wake. The last time I tried to rub my hands together but as I did it my hands seemed to fragment in front of my eyes, so I tried spinning, but I just span up into the air and woke up. I know I just need to keep calm, but it's so difficult in just a few seconds to get your brain into gear! |
