My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.
Yeah, it must be mainly intent + expectations to induce LDs. But from what I heard, you don't think about LDs lots, you just intend and expect to have a LD before going to bed. Works for some people. Quite a few can do it, I believe. |

I think they're mainly referring to auto-suggestion, probably the most minimalist LD technique. The technique consist only of suggesting yourself something lucid dream related before falling asleep. For example somebody like myself might only tell myself once "Let's transform into a dolphin!" and then fall asleep thinking about as little as possible. This technique works best for experienced LDers who only need a bit of intent to lucid dream. |

Have you ever gave it a proper try? You shouldn't say never. Initially I didn't think it would work either, but a few times before bed I managed to gather my confidence and decide that I will have a lucid dream that night. I didn't stress about it, just expected to become lucid and guess what, it happened. |

Frankly I don't know how much it's ideal to think about LDing, of course there is such a thing as trying too hard, and that can easily and does become a barrier for people. I was talking more about summoning that confidence in yourself that you can and will have a lucid dream if you decide to do so. Which is actually easier said than done, a lot of people find it very difficult to expect or know something will happen simply because they want it to. But at the same time, it's your mind so why not make it serve you, as it's its purpose anyway? The mind is very powerful and far from fully understood scientifically.. I don't know, I'm rambling, gotta go to bed lol, good night peeps, good luck with your lucids. |

Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
-Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams
It is a technique mainly used by those that are struggling with relying too heavily on techniques and not enough on feelings and awareness. Since they stop thinking about LDing as much, they lose their mental barriers, since their techniques had become mental barriers, they lose those as well. I wouldn't say that it makes people get better at lucid dreaming quickly, but it can help some people perform to the ability that was being held back. I talk about it on the link in my signature. It the first one. |
