Thread: Should i continue recording my dreams on my laptop or a physical notebook?

I am currently recording my dreams on my laptop as i am a beginner. My dreams can be quite long so i'm not sure about copying them over to a physical notebook. what do you guys think? i even heard of people using a tape recorder to record their dreams.

Laptop is ideal unless you have a voice to text converter (I hear they're pretty good these days). I voice record notes during the night and type them up on the computer in the morning.

You can use any media that makes you feel happy about recording.

I prefer physical notebook or laptop over voice recording, just because it's simpler to browse through it later and see it at a glance. Also, easier to find patterns, dream signs, recurring themes...

The point in recording dreams is not only for us to be able to read them later, but it also tells our mind that we like dreaming and remembering them.

a tape recorder is king, but if your at your bed and have a light nearby a physical notebook is a good substitute, I used to text myself for lack of a better alternative. You don't want to stray too far from the bed so you can enter more dreams upon waking.

I use a physical notebook. It puts more emphasis on remembering dreams for your subconcious. Also you can draw a picture in a notebook. Plus it's not going to fail you if you run out of battery's or don't have wifi (if what your using requires it).
