      I can't sleep in

The past few nights I've gotten semi-lucid or almost lucid around 6 a.m. every morning. The problem is, I'm a major morning person. When I start becoming lucid at that time it's so easy for me to wake up and then it's impossible for me to fall back asleep or re-enter the dream. For as long as I can remember I've been an early bird and physically unable to sleep in - even if I'm tired. I immediately start recalling my dreams and thinking about my day. Any tips on falling back asleep, staying asleep, or re-entering a dream in the morning?

      Hey there,

The tips are easy: don't move, don't think about the day, try to clear your mind. Actually doing them can often be harder

I tend to go from sleeping to full awareness really fast as well. I've had to teach myself to try to keep a clear and level mind after awakening. Meditation exercises can help a great deal. So can writing down crucial things about the next day beforehand (so you don't have to think about them/try to remember them during the night or upon waking up). For me, it often looks like I'm clear awake, but if I can just 'not move' for a few minutes and try to keep a clear mind, I often find myself drifting back into sleep/dreams.

      Just my 2 cents,
