      Falling asleep Wilding..

      That's my problem...
Because, now, I can fall asleep easily, but cannot be aware...
It's like my mind go to sleep, before my body, so I feel my body moving a little...!
how anchor, or method can I use to be aware? not totally but the necesary, I'm very near of victory, so I need your help.
When I'm falling asleep my brain starts to think randomly

      I tried:
      -counting breaths
      -focusing on breathing
      -on external sounds(music,or something)
      -imagining myself rubbing my hands...

      thankkkksss bye

I've never actually WILDed, but maybe try FILD? Or maybe wake yourself up more before trying to WILD.

Patience is always useful. How long have you been trying this? I'd put a two week minimum before giving up on any one technique. You could try counting backwards from 500 (in breaths). That is more mentally engaging.

maybe practise just getting to Sleep Paralysis, while your are quite mentally alert. ie before bed, the day after a good nights sleep where you havnt done too much thinking but have done some excersize in the day. if your mind is alert but your body is sleepy you might have more success?

binaural music, something with a slow bassy pulse to focus on, can be helpful to get to SP but i find it can stop your mind falling asleep to get WILD, but this could be helpful in your situation.

lie on ur back, head & arms nice and comfortable. DO NOT MOVE even to scratch. focus on something in the back of your mind, not with your "thoughts". give it plenty of time.

once you are well practiced at SP, you might then find it easier to fall asleep into a lucid if you try it after 6 hours sleep or so.

i watched a documentary on dreaming, and apparently there is a part of the brain where all five senses come together (taste, touch etc) and this is where the dreams are created. (makes sense if you think about it).

so i was thinking, you have to have somthing going through your mind for a WILD, how about imagining yourself doing a simple task but imagine all the senses.

most of us, when we imagine, only usualy imagine picture (and maybe sound).
for example eating an apple, see it, pick it up, feel the texture of it, smell it. listen to the sound as you bite into it.

i have written, on a piece of paper, the word LUCID on my ceiling. so when i next try a WILD, i will imagine (with all the senses) going from my kitchen to my bedrom, doing stuff on the way which invokes these senses, and end up in my bedroom, getting into bed and looking at the sign LUCID on my ceiling to remind me to snap out of it.

though i think it will take a fair bit of practice to get good at imagining all the senses effectivley.

      anywhoos, good luck

I think that my Sleep Paralysis is special, maybe I can't feel it, but anyways, it's my experience, based on that, I don't "feel" Sleep Paralysis...

I tryied music, it didn't help

I think that I must lie in my confortable position...I have to say that I even move to scratch, and don't affect me from falling asleep.

Would work for you, but maybe not for me, in my dreams, DILDS are very difficults to achieve, because when I say "I'm dreaming"....it's just a non-lucid state anyways...because I dream that I say that...I call this False Lucid Dream ejejej, I had many troubles with this...

I have to say it....my method is waiting to be near to fall asleep...
I can now if I falling asleep, for example if I'm counting from 0 to 300...In one moment I will count randomnly....like "123,124,125,126,127,128,129,130,111,112..."
Or I simply will stop counting...
So playing with this a little more...
and then I use FILD...when I'm sure I'm enough tired to fall instantly asleep...
It worked....look at lucid dream experiences topics...

      thanks!

      bye
