The Incredible Reality Check Night-Light!

The Problem You always have false awakenings, but you totally forget to do a RC, you fall asleep, and when you wake up in the morning, you realize you slept through A perfect LD oppurtunity. The Solution Quite possibly the easiest, cheapest, most effective way, to NEVER sleep through a FA, ever again. What is it you ask? Its.... The Incredible Reality Check Night-Light What is it? A basic night-light, with a piece of paper wrapped around it. How do I get it? Easy, you make it. All you need is... -A Night-light -A Piece of paper (Even a post-it will work!!!) -Tape -Permanent Marker How do I make it? Take a piece of paper, grab a permanent marker, & write down "RC" in big, bold letters. Take this piece of paper, & simply tape it to the bright part, of the nightlight. VOILA! You now have a small glowing light in the corner of your room, that is telling you to preform a Reality Check! Im lost, how will that make me have a LD? Its simple really, you have a FA, you look over at the night-light, and you see in big, bold letters, "RC" You then preform a RC, and realize your dreaming! Tips -Place the night-light somewhere that, your most likely to see it upon waking. -If you think the light will keep you awake, dont worry it wont... The paper you placed over it will gently block out the majority of the light, making it more of a soft-glow. -Try not to use a night-light with an exposed bulb, as you may burn your house down! If your still confused on how this will work, just ask me! Ive also included of picture of what mine looks like, so you can get a better idea... Good luck!

Nice. Two possible additions: 1) Use a word or sentence instead of "RC" so you can perform a text check. 2) Incorporate a switch somehow so you can do the electrical-failure RC. (Some lucid dreaming masks have this feature, I believe.)

Good idea but i would make a glowstick instead and PUT RC on the glowstick.

The thing is, the "RC" paper might not show up in dreams, therefore not promting a reality check. They should also be done without a cue of any sort, because they might not appear in your dreams (like the RC paper). But it's a good idea so if it works, you should definitely use it!

Good idea This also might work because like I have heard in lucid dreams text doesn't seem to be readable so when you look at the night light, you might see something different than "RC"
