So I was wondering if listening to music while lying in bed helps or harms doing a WILD or just basic SP. And if it helps, once in SP, will the music help to go into LD? Or should I just forget the music all together and do it in silence? |

"Cry in the dojo, laugh in the battlefield."
It all depends on you. Do you normally go to sleep listening to music? It doesn't hurt to try it, especially if you think it will help. |

"...and we want punks in the palace, 'cos punks got the loveliest dreams..." - A Silver Mt. Zion
It was the best of times. It was the end of times.
I've never played music while trying to WILD or get SP. However, if I were, I'd use relaxing music or just lower the volume on a louder song. After all, the goal's to fall asleep. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Have questions about lucid dreaming? DM me.
I always sleep with music on, so it doesn't bother me when WILDing (have WILDed with and without music). Though one time, I was entering SP and my music began to get louder and louder. I thought it would wake my roomates up, so I forced myself out of my partial paralysis to turn it down. Turns out it was just a hallucination, lol. |
