      Dream Incubation To Become Lucid

      I just thought of this idea right now. I thought If you use dream incubation (the process of saying "this is what im going to dream about tonight" and you dream it) to introduce lucid dreams. I havn't tried this out but this is how im going to use it.

      1. Decide what I'm going to dream about
      2. Tell myself "when I see this (the thing im going to dream about)" do a RC
      3. BAM your lucid!

      This is what im going to be testing the bext few days. Feel free to voice your opinion
      Fly[- ] Jump from a cliff [ ] Turn into a bird[ ] Make a portal[ -] Summon a weapon[ -] Fight in a huge battle[ ] Have my first LD[X]
      X=Completed [-]=Attempted

      Seems like it could work. I haven't had a proper ld yet. I could combine this with DILD.

      • Talk to subconscious
      • Find musical inspiration in a dream
      • Draw a scene in real life and find it within a dream
      • Remember at least five dreams in one week

      To geogzm: With regards to your lucid goals I have had one dream about being in Afghanistan and one dream in Iraq - murder, mayhem and horror. The Iraq dream was two nights ago, the dream was as horrendous as the state Iraq is in right now.

      I've been playing ArmA2: operation arrowhead recently so it should turn out like that. If I'm lucid, I'll get my world of warcraft on and make it magicstan

      I read a popular thread about this at ld4all forum and only two members were able to replicate a result. I assume this has been discussed here at some point and there maybe a more promising discussion.

      Yeah sometimes when I try to have a lucid I don't remember any of my dreams and I'm not sure why
