      Tips with DEILDing?

What would you suggest (from experience) is the best way to wake yourself up for a DEILD?
Tried autosuggestion- woke up at the right time but didnt know why and just went back to sleep -.-
Tried alarm- wakes me up too much or just doesnt wake me up at all :/

You have to train yourself to begin thinking as soon as you wake up, so you know the alarm's for a DEILD. Every time you wake up, begin to say "I'm going to DEILD now" or something, and eventually the time in between the alarm and your thought processes should get shorter and shorter. It doesn't matter if you move at first, but eventually you should be able to stay still, ready to DEILD.

In my opinion, a DEILD is easiest when you've just woken up from an LD (you know you're going to wake up, you know?). But you should be wary of false awakenings, so a reality check would suffice. With your eyes still closed, look up as far as you can; if your eyes are sore, then you're not dreaming, but if you don't feel anything, you are.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
