      Reverse Blinking not working..

      every night lately ive been trying reverse blinking.. breathing normally and every 5 seconds opening my eyes and shutting em quickly.. it relaxes me a bit but then it doesnt do anything and i cant sleep


      am i doing it wrong? is there any other ways to reach sleep paralysis?

      Sounds like your doing right, it probably just doesn't work for you. Try the 61 point relaxation technique or the tense-and-relax of your muscles. Put them in the search box if you don't know what I'm talking about.

      Personally, I lie still and think slow thoughts "I will know I'm dreaming" "I wil RC" "I will have a lucid tonight" or w/e else you'd like to think. A lot of times, the thoughts will trail off into random thinking. At some point, I'll get close to SP and start seeing HI and just go with it. I don't think I've gotten to SP fully though

      I'm just getting back into lucid dreaming, but from what I remember, you should try and get into sleep paralysis after waking up, not when you're going to sleep. Try to make yourself wake up at a certain time using autosuggestion and then use reverse blinking then, but make sure to stay awake!
