      Cycling the Power: A Meditation

      Cycle the Power

This is a dream about this meditation. I can't find the first dream I had about it. In this dream, my Dream Guide, Zaphor is telling me about how to cycle the power between the three states: lucid, non-lucid, and deep dream (delta) sleep states.

In the first dream I had about this meditation (which I cannot find) Q10 AKA Sacrosanct told me to cycle the Power between the dream, astral, and physical planes to improve my waking life.

This came as a result of my dream plane power greatly exceeding my power on the physical plane, and the frustration that stemmed from it.

This is how you do it:

Close your eyes in a sitting position. Imagine three orbs of different colors in front of you.

One is right in front of your heart chakra, another is slightly above and in front of your third eye chakra. Another is in front of your throat chakra, and is the most forward.

One represents the dream plane, one the physical plane, and one the astral plane.

Astral tentacles connect the three orbs. Tiny balls of light travel down the astral tentacles, as the orbs begin to spin forward, faster and faster until they become a ring of colorful light.

      Please post your results.

Hmmmm..... This sure seems interesting. Now that I have completely broken out of dry spell, I will try this as soon as possible. I doubt it will have any results, though, since I am still a noob in deep dreaming.

Maybe you misunderstand. You do this meditation while you are awake. I was taught it in a dream, which was the first time I did it, but it's intended to be a waking meditation with the eyes closed.

The purpose is to balance the power in your life between your astral, dream, and physical bodies, or to balance the power between the three main sleep states.

Ah, sorry. I thought it was supposed to be done in an LD. But I will try it nevertheless.

Meditating in dreams is awesome. I definitely encourage it. I have a meditation room in my dream house.

Try it in an LD after doing in while awake.

I did try this in a nonchalant way of visualisation for the first night when you posted this when I read it but can't say I noticed much anything different.

I was a bit unsure of the locations where the colors would be at and how they would rotate. I imagined a circle but with that it got a little confusing on how it aligned with the chakras.

I ended up just kinda making a quick spinning circle and kinda just bringing in to note the actual location of the one colour at a time at one spot. Mainly my heart chakra area.

I think you misunderstand the original purpose of this meditation. This is not originally for dreaming, but to balance the power between your three main states of being in order to improve your waking life using your dream energy.

Non-lucid, lucid, and deep dream state. The deep dream state is the state of deep sleep where we are unaware of the physical plane, yet totally aware of the dream plane.

The astral plane is between the dream and physical plane.

I am not sure how you would go about doing that, since that's not the purpose. I suggest visualizing a setting in a meditation, then stepping into it, as you WILD.

haha me too, trouble is i havent got round to using it properly yet. or at least remembering doing it. its like a little padded balcony that overlooks a river and you have to crawl through this tiny loft hatch to get to it. i think it came from playing things like hide and seek as a kid and i used to have dreams that it was a real place as a kid. luckily i now know it is and have revisited it quite a few times. i never get to meditate though because the views so good that i end up flying over it

cheers for this meditation it sounds great. any more info on bringing dream energy to life is always greatly appreciated
