      OBE experiences?

I dream a lot in third person, that I see myself in the dream doing something.(last time is written in my dream journal) I am controlling my own body sometimes but I often see myself. Is this an out of body experience(OBE)?

Note: I haven't been lucid though, despite this.

      Agree,
this is a third person dream.
OOBE is where you feel and see just like you do now, fully conscious and lucid.

OBE- outside body experience- or the proper name Astral Projection/Travel.
No this is not a OBE just a dream of yourself in third person. A OBE is way different than Lucid Dreaming. In this stage you're not really dreaming. Since you're actually outside of your own body. Here's a site-

Thanks Dreammer, I heard about astral projections but didn't understand what it was actually, now I get it.

I think I went into the beginning stages of an OBE the other day. I went for a nap during the daytime and I started drifting off, but was still fully aware of where I was but knew at the same time I was asleep. I could feel cold water around my body, splashing my face, but couldn't see it. I heard sounds that weren't really happening, like the phone and doorbell ringing. I could still see my room, but it was slightly blurred. I moved one of my arms, it felt light, like there was no gravity, I waved my other arm and then my legs. Then i went into a dream, but woke myself up a little later as I'd said I'd start making the dinner for when my family got home...

I've had a bunch of experiences that I've been wondering about for a bit. Maybe some of you can help.

Basically, I've had some DILDs but most of my lucids have come from what I think are WILDs (maybe OBE or something) that I DEILDed into more. Essentially, they're very different from my DILDs, which is why I wonder whether they're even dreams. My DILDs have had more of a story to them, and have that classic dreamy nature. My WILDs (or whatever), always start with me immediately aware levitating off of my bed. I proceed to explore a rather uninhabited environment in a space that it is brighter, crisper, and eerier than real life.

      Anyone have any similar experiences?

I think I had one OBE, I fell alseep and I could have sworn I was awake, I was following my cat and tried petting it's back, it felt very strange and hard to move like I was sorta heavy. Another time it wa a fragment where I felt I was reaching for something I've never felt my body so clearly in a .... "dream?"
      Are you dreaming?
