I see people when i close my eyes

hello everyone im just your normal guy, im 19 from england and for a while now probally in about the last 2 years every now and then when i close my eyes i see people, its not like how ive read about other peoples topics that they see them before they go to sleep, all i have to do is be in a quiet place and be calm and i see people they change forms into other people they can go from two people sitting at a table chatting to a man working or someone waving at me, i do not see any colour the forms take shape in the shadows of my eyes sight, i do not imagine these.. i think of nothing i only concentrate on what i see, they speak but i do not hear them. any ideas? also.. i have been having dreams that start from when another one ended, probally about 5 months ago or even a year, ive had 4 of these. I came to this site because im to scared to tell anyone around me in fear they will think im mentally ill especially about seeing the people.

I've had this, but it's nothing, just you interpreting random formations as something scary, I wouldn't think much of it!

im sorry but your wrong, this isnt normal.. you see im not scared of them i almost feel like i know them.. i dont even feel like im in my own mind when i see them... i feel like im somewhere else its so confusing, but ever since ive realised and understood it i cant see them again instead now i see dark figures moving around in the shadows of my sight.. my girlfriends dad is very spiritual, he invited good spirits to contact with me a few years back.. im just trying to connect the dots.

hypnagognic imagery perhaps. Its not uncommon, for this to happen. If you realize that its just your brain creating images that aren't real than it just becomes an interesting phenomenon. If you start thinking there is something more to it, and start getting really paranoid like in the post above, then you could have some mental problem. If you cannot let go and accept that this means nothing, then maybe you need some help, but probably just some form of counseling rather than a padded room

Yeah... I really don't think this lucid dream forum will be much help to you if you think it's more than just a normal thing your mind does. I would look in the Beyond Dreaming section if you are looking for help.

Seeing as this started happening a year or two back after your girlfriends dad invited the spirits I would say thats it, your best bet may be asking him about it, he could teach you, or if you dont want to pursue it, he could ask them to leave you be.

I agree that this isn't the place to ask about this subject, but I think I know exactly what you mean and I experience it myself. If I'm laying on my back at night, I can stare into the blackness and see figures walking around my room, sometimes leaning over me and staring intensely. I've always just assumed it's just that my mind wants to see something, so it makes stuff up. Whatever the case, I'm not worried by it.

They are never faces of people I know, but they always feel familiar. If I remain conscious enough, I can change the faces at will and influence the hallucination. I wouldn't worry too much. As long as you know it is a hallucination, you are not totally crazy.

As long as you know it is a hallucination, you are not totally crazy. I don't like that word hallucination. As Bashar once said: "Everything what you imagine (I MAGI NATION (Nation of magicians) is real (exists somewhere, somehow), because you can't imagine nonexistence". I really resonate with this info. So I think that these "hallucinations" might be real (somewhere, in some reality, somehow). There is also one interesting thing. When people practise mirror gazing for some time, they often start seeing faces that are constantly morphing one into another, as you said. This may be our guides, past-future-other lifes of our oversoul or anybody/anything else.

I think your third eye is open, close it if you want to, by imagining it closed. Or you can think of Arch Angel Michael helping you out.

What I'm going to tell you is strange. The mind can make other realities, with other people living them. Seeing these people is just a small connection of something deeper going on in your mind.

I'm no expert, but I don't think you have a mental problem just because you think it's more than just normal halucinations. It's normal to be asking these questions and trying to find out what's happening. Who knows, maybe it's halucinations, maybe something else. Maybe you are more sensitive and receptive to things, other people are not. As someone suggested, ask about this the person who had the spirits visit you. He could also make them stop, or at least explain to you, what is going on. Good luck.

But, like also mentioned it may be that you are in fact experiencing spiritual forces. If you did in fact have someone induce the will of spirits in your life, you might want to be careful as you can not really keep out the bad ones and only let the good ones in. From what I understand about this, once you open the door its open, and anyone can come on in... So, be weary of this. However, from your description, I would have to say that it sounds like your third eye popped open. When the third eye opens for the first time, or for the first time in a while, you will usually always hear a high pitched vibration that sounds just like tinnitus. You will most definitely see spirits with your third eye open. It's the same feeling as having a lucid dream, as having a outer body experience, as having a DMT experience and as having a near death experience, and trust me, I had all of them.

Actually many people have had such experiences. These 'mental pictures' appear when you become less perceptive to external stimuli, but still awake and conscious. They refer to unrealized needs and conflicts (according to wiser and more learned people than me). In fact you can use this state in many ways. The brain is processing psychohygine in this way and the state might be characterized as slight self-hypnosis. You are one of those lucky people who are able to evoke such imagery spontaneously.

Then when someone comes along and says it's nothing, you just say "I'm sorry but you're wrong".

I don't think you are crazy! This actually happens to me as well. It can happen any place. It happened the other day in the shower when i shut my eyes really tight. I have looked at several forums, it seems that the "third eye" comment is pretty accurate. Do any other things happen to you as well? . . I also saw a special on the discovery channel years ago about Remote Viewing.. The CIA apparently had a group of 200 psychic spies that were able to lay down and focus on a specific target. Together they were able to determine where hostages were being held and they were rescued. In the show the discovery network tested a group of 300 of them. They said that there was a target somewhere in the world doing something, but offered no information about what/who it was. After 2 hours they all either wrote what they saw of drew pictures of what they saw. The target was a women with long black hair and a black leather jacket riding a motorcycle in a 3 mile loop around LA. The people had drawn pictures of hands on handles, a black jacket, a women, a bridge with a sign on it, a park with 3 water fountains, and numerous other things. All the things were object on the path or about the person. It was very interesting. Maybe we have this ability..... Dunno I've never been able to hear them, or look for someone specific.... However, I have seen them in color.... vague colors also, i've practiced on visualizing things before bed and some very interesting things have happened because of it. including night paralysis, Out of body experiences, and lucid dreams.... Have you ever woken up and couldn't move? you wake up and feel like your going to die? your scared out of your mind? no matter how hard you try and scream you cant? If it has, message me back... SOrry if i sound like a lunatic... I'm really not I don't even take to my wife about these things... she thinks i'm crazy when i do.. But I am 30 years old have a 2 year old. like to go out and have a good time. I'm pretty damn normal.... Let me know what you think
