Thread: How do you find someone during an out-of-body-experience?

Robert Monroe, who wrote three books on out-of-body-experiences, stated that for him using addresses didn't work so well. Instead he would focus on the person him/herself, and then the getting there would be automatic. It would even work without any address at all.

I have no personal experience in the area.

Hmm, that's a good question.

I'm not experienced in this type of thing, so hopefully someone who is will stop by and help out soon.

I haven't done any searching.

But i am positive that you can use creative imagination to ur advantage. What Hyu did (was told) was to Imagine a distant star. Or a person in the distance. Set intention and be pulled very hard towards that spot. I am not sure if that is a rule. My friend does somewhat of the same for visiting his ancestors during OBEs. He said intention is key.

From the IOSDP I have heared of a technique of a thread and imagining a thread going there and pulling urself on that thread.

I think it would also be possible to make ur own creative plot. Simply a lift which stops at ur friend's house. Or a rocket-fueled skateboard with GPS. Loads of fun stuff!

Just use intention. I would think.." I'm going to visit --------." Next thing I know, I'm on my way to that person. For me, the hard part is not getting side tracked or falling into a dream.

This isn't that much of a toughy. How hard is it to a) ask him which apartment is his when you're awake before having an OOBE, or b) search every room in the apartment building until you find him? If OOBE's are legitimate phenomena this would be a decent way to prove to yourself that they are if you had any doubts. As for proving to anyone else, well, don't blame us if we ask for a more controlled setting, kind of hard just to go off the anecdotes of believers.
