      My dreams predicted the future!

I have had about 4 or 5 dreams where something happened in the dream and than in real life it happened. Now I know I sound crazy but for real this happened.

Ill explain one and put the others in my dream journal.

So I had a dream YEARS ago (the bare minimum of 2years), like when I was having this dream I didn't not know the room or tables but I knew the people around me. We were in a classroom (I had never seen it at this time) and the people at the table where in a circle including me. I could tell you exactly who was sitting where and the person sitting across from me is Omar. Now I was really short in the dream, barley able to see over the table but enough to have details of my surroundings. We were suppose to be playing a board game and the game was given to us by an unknown person but it was placed in the middle of us. Omar asked "What game are we playing?" and then processed to say "Oh monopoly!!" and that's where it ended.

I don't know the time distance of the real life occurrence and the dream but it had to be between a couple of months to over a year. Than I get in my science class and the second semester we are make science board games and finally it comes down to playing them. I was put in a group with all the people who were around me in the dream including omar, everyone was in their dream seating arrangement and bam!!! The dream starts to play out and at the end of the dream I had a huge deja vu moment.

IM NOT MAKING THIS UP AND I HAVE HAD MORE ACURRANCES LIKE THIS!

Anyone else have these type of dreams?

I tend to believe in these types of dreams.

One that sticks out for me was when I dreamed of seeing a friend who I hadn't seen/thought about in years. We had gone to the same camp when we were young, and never spoke since. She was in a dream I had the night before leaving for vacation. When I checked into the hotel and went down to the pool, she was staying at the same hotel.

No one can say for sure whether these sorts of things are prophecy or coincidence, but you always need to be cautious of confirmation bias. Do you ever dream of things that don't end up happening and does that disprove that your dreams predict the future? I'm betting you just cherry pick the ones that produce a positive result. If half your dreams end up resembling events that then occur later in your waking life, then it might be something you want to look out for, but if it's only one or two every few years, confirmation bias is the likely cause.

I too believe in future precognition in dreams or OBE... only it is hard to prove it, because you don't know it was a prediction before things (starts to) happen.

For example this could be precognition. Running-Flying - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views Only it wouldn't know it is before I run into closed shop. I had prediction that came true after more than 15 years.(improbable things)

SaMaster14 that is awesome about your dreamgood for you

Virtuallucidity a couple of my dreams predict the future I hope that I didn't seem like I was saying that all my dreams were a prediction of the future wife are there not.the way that I see why I'm having this dream is because I believe that there is a spirit or something of that sort that's just trying to tell me that I'm on the right path in life.

Psionik isn't it funny how that happens I believe that it can happen often I just wish that the dreams to be more specific about themselves so then you could remember them in you ready for them

Yes, but if the majority of your dreams were representative of things that occurred in the future that would mean they were more likely to actually be prophetic. We all have multiple dreams per night, and if you take all of your dreams over the course of a long enough period, you're bound to dream of something that will end up happening merely out of chance. Could they be prophetic? Possibly, but there is likely a simpler answer. On numerous occasions I've been thinking of a song and then it came on the radio? Does this mean I can predict what songs will be on the radio? Maybe, but it's more likely that I simply don't pay any attention when I'm thinking of a song and it doesn't come on, I only notice it when it does.

Well... dream is not simple thing. There is so much imagination in it, that if there is vestige of truth, it is very well hidden.

I agree with you it could be a chance. But some chances are so improbable... yet they happen sometimes. It is when we have a vision... a vision that something improbable will happen, that will make us susceptible to this belief. The same with telepathy. Thing is, this things happen only randomly, they are not provable(in my case). Even if I believe in those things, it is better to be cautious in that belief.

Myownreality- yes. It makes me to stop and to observe. To contemplate things happening around me.

what is the likelihood of someone having a dream with specific things happening to them and then them happen in real life with the details perfectly matching in the dream I had with my science class there is no self prophecy in there because I can't choose the people in my class and what is the odds that we were all in that class for that one dream perfectly in place what is the odds of that happening

Depending on the size of your town/school somewhere between very likely and fairly unlikely? That's ultimately something you're going to have to answer for yourself, I just recommend you be mindful and discerning while doing so. Even things that are quite unlikely will tend to occur given enough opportunities. It's not likely to flip a coin and have it land on heads 10 times in a row, but if I do this 10,000 times, it more than likely will occur at some point. If you're having multiple dreams per night and waiting years for the events of one of them to transpire, that's likely to happen at some point, I think if anything the curious part is that you remembered what sounds like a fairly mundane dream for such a long time until something resembling it occurred. Why do you think that is, and are you certain that you remembered the details of a dream perfectly for two years?

      One time is enough...

I had an OBE nearly 20 years ago where I was going with my daughter into apothecary to buy some medicine. I met there girl, pharmacist and I was friend with her. I remember also place where it was.
3 years ago this OBE came true. When I had that OBE I was single, no girlfriends... that pharmacist girl was my unrequited love from that time(I was in love with her platonically for about 12-13 years.) But she was difficult person, she disliked my very existence, therefore I didn't try often to speak with her. In that obe was predicted we would be friends. It was predicted I will have daughter(I have 4, no boys ) It was predicted she would be pharmacist. It was predicted (roughly) where that apothecary will be. Too many coincidences... It was like I'm having OBE again. Of course, in that OBE there were only few people present. Apothecary was inside quite empty(in comparison with reality). Weather was nice in OBE, not so nice in reality.

Or I had few real time prediction(a few seconds to tens of minutes into future)... Most notably I told once my brother that I found an computer Atari800XL with joysticks and memory unit(a tape recorder) at our home... and I described him where it was. Then I went there and everything was there. Exactly as I described.

I've also had dreams that predicted the future. One about school kind of like yours, in fact! I just graduated high school, but several years ago back when I was in elementary school I dreamed I was sitting in some lunchroom looking at teachers. Well later on when I got to middle school one day I was randomly sitting and I was staring at my teachers. One of their shirts stood out to me like in the dream, and I remembered that dream from years ago. I've also dreamed of visiting places I've never seen before and then actually finding myself there later on. Just random things, you know. And there was one time an image flashed before my mind while I was awake and a few seconds later that very thing happened.

My mom actually had a prediction while she was in line at the store ages ago. She was holding my older sister (who was at the time very young) and the vision of my sister spilling the drink she was holding flashed across her mind. Then, almost immediately after, that's exactly what happened!

      Where there's tea, there's hope.

Virtual there are over a thousand people at my high school and not everyone had to take the class that I was in so there was An even more likelihood that these kids weren't even going to be in my class. And I know it sounds weird but to me the things that don't stick out is what I remember the most I remember a lot of random things.actually my mom tells me that I have a bunch of random stupid facts in my head so even if I have to wait a hundred years for a dream to come true to me it's still predicting the future because the odds of this all happening in the life where billions and trillions of things are possible each day the one chance of it happening to me is crazy enough to make me believe that it's a prediction of the future.

Pis and blue those are amazing stories and that's awesome. My mom says that her and her aunt able to play these games when my mom was little and no matter what number Her auntwas thinking she could always tell. So I believe that it can happen while awake too but that's a whole nother topic

I used to have some dreams like this. They would come true 1-3 months after the dream happened. Normally nothing big. One was about my uncle telling us a new joke and when he started to say it I finished it for him and said that I had a dream of it a month ago. The last one I had someone in my school club got hit by a car. I told the dreams to stop and haven't had another one like that since.
The main part of controlling nightmares it to kick logic out and make the impossible possible.

Have you ever heard of the Mothman Prophecies? Where a mothman figure shows up in a location months before a major disaster occurs?

I had a similar incident as yours, where I tried to have precogs and then I had one where everything stopped in the dream after a car accident. So I was like you. I wanted no more of it.

My precogs seem to have a subtle nefarious feeling behind them. As if there is a slightly evil presence feeding me the info. Most of the time it's harmless. But I've had dreams that were absolutely-verified precogs where a voice spoke to me. It was kind of spooky.

I think of Mothman and wonder what we don't know about time and dreams.

I can see how anyone would be skeptical. If I read my own posts, I'd think I were smoking something.

I'm very skeptical myself. And I can tell you, I've had precogs. I've had precogs that I can prove. I've had precogs that predicted lottery numbers and I have the tickets to prove it.

The funny thing is, I'm starting to think all of those "coincidences" that I normally would brush off...are really precogs. So that maybe when I dream of a birthday cake, then show up at work and there's a birthday cake...its not a coincidence.

Usually I can tell if my dreams are precogs or just manufactured by my imagination.

I can tell you with 100% certainty, I've had valid precogs. No confusion about 1 in 2 chances of happening.

You don't have to believe me, that's fine. I hear people's stories like the OP and I'm like "yep, one more". Personally I think everyone would notice they have precogs if they didn't see sleep as a luxury. No one wants to work at remembering dreams, they want to relax and sleep. But if they did, I'll bet you more people would see a connection to their dreams and what happens next in their lives.
