So its basically a dream\state where the dream is fully conducted by the subc and it reveals your true nature?
I can't find out if this thing is true, since I'm not an experienced lucid draemer. But I'm getting better , so I'll try to find out what is this when I'll be more experienced and will have full controll over most of my dreams.
I wish you luck. One trick I learned was to stare at a light source (sun, stars, lamp, etc) in your dream. For me this made everything more vivid and prolonged the duration of the dream.

Such experience does exist in some extent, like a mind-mirror, instead of seeing yourself in the mirror, you can experience your subconscious personality.
Don't like that term 'dream guide', but some people would think of this as a dream communication with their 'dream guide'.
I have read many stories, but I am a critical thinker.
I don't just blindly believe things, I test them out to verify them.
Had I not experienced lucid dreaming myself I wouldn't have believed it. It is a little discouraging that most lucid dreamers are only concerned with having dream sex. Very few people seek the truth. You're probably skeptical because you haven't experienced it yourself, I encourage you to push your lucid dreams to their limit and see what you experience.
I call it Magicant because I cannot think of anything else to call it. The name suits it though as it is similar to the Magicant found in Earthbound (Mother 2) conceptually.

Many people have differing beliefs about the black hooded figure but agree that it correlates with sleep paralysis.
From what I've experienced it affects lucid dreaming. I recall experimenting with lucid dreaming and trying to see how far I could go. I had a few dreams that I could see the future and amazingly they came to pass. I began seeing trivial things in the future. I then wanted to try more grand, and it felt like i was ripped out of my dream. I could see my room, but couldn't move. That's when I encountered the dark hooded figure.
That wasn't the first time I encountered the dark hooded figure, but after this event I was unable to see the future - hell, I couldn't even have a lucid dream for a long time afterwards and few and far in between them.
I think the dark hooded figure is the gatekeeper to the secrets of dreaming. People who don't lucid dream generally don't get sleep paralysis. And thinking back I've only gotten sleep paralysis when I've tried to do extremely grand things in my dreams.
