*nods* I've shared hallucinations with friends on DXM before...we call it "closed eye world" and "open eye world"...it's a really bizarre and amazing thing actually |

I have ALWAYS thought that the thought of a particular substance always making people see the same thing was always mysterious to me. Like that Max Payne game, where they have Valkyre, and they all mumble the same nonsensical statements. That sturrs up almost deep seeded fears for me. |

I'd like to hear more about this... I think it's what this thread is about, rather than a bunch of people saying "OMG drugs r teh coolest!!!11one" and stuff like that. Shared hallucinations sound pretty interesting. I heard of some kids who were on datura (or something like that), and they thought they were both smoking cigarettes, even though they weren't. They were lighting eachothers and stuff... strange... |

That was angel's trumpet, which is a type of datura. |

---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
Geez. I don't. |

Gwendolyn is bad. |

From what i've read, most see the 'elves' and just about everyone sees insect like beings. Which is what led people to believe it is an alternate reality, a real one. I find is extremely strange that just about everyone who uses DMT mostly sees the same sort of alternate reality. |

My friends and I discovered that on DXM...you can see with your eyes closed. Like, I can close my eyes and see blackness, and I will put my hand up in front of my face and I can see it's outline exactly as it appears, it's all black, just different shades of black. I know that doesn't make sense. I can look around my room and see everything exactly like it is. My friends discovered the same thing. It's like in the movie Daredevil, how he is blind, but can see in the rain. It's alot like that. We think that the DXM heightens your senses so much (and it really does, in other ways as well such as smell, etc.) that you are almost using a form of echo-location or something to be able to see with your eyes closed. It's really amazing. It makes me wonder if that is what blind people see. |
|
Wow, DXM sounds like a pretty amazing substance. I always thought it was similar to pot or alcohol, in that people only used it to get "****ed" I didn't actually know it had 'spiritual?' qualities to it. |
|
DXM? Cough syrup right? I have had a few Robo experiences (2 bottles of maximum strength). I would say they are definitely out there but the hangover effects are hard to deal with. |

Neruo: "Expect for me ofcourse, I am special. lol. I really think that. I am rather intelligent"
I would never do cough syrup, it sucks...and most dxm containing products are unsafe because of the other ingredients in them. |

I to use drugs (mainly) for spiritual reasons. Just just weekend I tried out Nutmeg for the first time in a couple years. My last experiance with it was very unclear, and I barely remember any of it. I'm sure this was due to the quality I used (pre-ground from safeway). This time I went to my local natural foods store and picked up 14 whole nutmegs. I ground them up and took six first, and a couple hours later decided to take the rest. The shit is horrible tasting, and it lasts up to 72 hours. The high was very unique. It seemed to give me a feeling of being in a lucid dream. Everything appeared surreal, as things seem during dreams. |

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
- Albert Einstein
"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive, is what it is all about."
-Joseph Campbell
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. This disgrace to civilisation should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, senseless brutality, deplorable love-of-country stance, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be part of so base an action! It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."
-Albert Einstein
A few weeks ago, I took 25 mgs of Ambien (not very much), and it was the most lucid dream like experience I've ever had. I can't remember much of it, but it started while I was looking at my screen, and it felt like I was being sucked in. I went to use the bathroom, and it was like every sound was saying something to me. I was listening to the water come out of the sink, and out of the corner of my eye, my mirror reflection tried to pull me in. It was very very dreamy. I woke up the next morning feeling more refreshed than I ever have. |

Yeah Ambien does some crazy stuff to me too...but usually I can't remember...it's like walking around in a haze. It's very strange. It's a hypnotic. I actually think it's pretty dangerous to do unless you are just going to sleep otherwise it's sort of like sleep walking. |
|
Yeah, I guess it could be dangerous, but not that dangerous. I know the feeling, you think just because you can't remember what happened, you could have done anything. But just because you can't remember what you did dosn't mean you were completely insane. I can remember most of the stuff I did that night, and I didn't do anything stupid. I think the scary part is not being able to remember what you did... I know that freaked me out. |

Ok well...do you realize how dangerous sleep walking can be? Same thing...or at least, pretty darn close. |
|
LSD, PCP, and Mescaline to name a few. |
|
i find that on a high dose acid trip..it is VERY similar to a lucid dream, it is the ultimate state of pure awareness and bliss. |
|
The trick is, you got to realise that you're dreaming in the first place.
You got to be able to recognize it.
You got to be able to ask yourself, " Hey, man, is this a dream?"
I extracted codeine from some prescribed T3s today, probably 300mg. I'm going to see how it affects my dreams. |

Starry starry night, paint your pallet blue and gray,
Look out on a summers day,
with eyes that know the darkness of my soul.
