I'll try next time I'm lucid, which, if everything goes according to plan and according to my recently started intensive reality questioning and RCing routine, should be tonight or tomorrow night.

Although I've never dreamwalked before, so this would be a first try for me.

I'll try to dreamwalk to your dream, then find you and contact you.

Have you considered that although you provided us with a picture, it may not help because you may have taken on a different appearance than that in your dreams?

Whether it happens naturally, or if I change it myself, I often appear as something much different than what I really look like.

For example, last night I was Lawrence of Arabia, fully clothed in black versions of his Arabian garb.

LD-ers are mostly themselves in dreams when lucid. if some weird creature gives you some password, be it lucid or nonlucid post it here

what's the chance someone here is gonna have a lucid at the same time as you though? shouldn't you maybe set a time when you'll be trying to have one.

the chances are slim, and this is a long term experiment. I doubt people are going to adjust their sleep schedule just so they can sleep the same time I do.

Well I wasn't lucid last night, hopefully I will be tonight.

I'm trying to cram in both the Basic and Advanced Task of the Month, as well as your experiment, so don't be surprised if I screw up

wakatadreamer, if by saying "I've never dreamwalked before" you mean you never had an LD perhaps you should concentrate on just becoming lucid for now- all of this will still be here when you are able to have LD's. Though if I do meet you someplace hopefully I'll make you lucid, though I won't recognize you.

My interpretatio of what I've seen of your personality is associated with your username and avater on the forums for me. I think if I were to come across and entity that represented you it would be some version of that.

I kinda think that through the physical world we display our personalities and rub off on other people through our medium of space and events. If I'm heavily affecting my friends' dream lives and causing an effect in them, based onw hat they've learned of my own personality, in essense, the person they see in their dreams giving them funny looks whenever they do reality checks IS literally a part of myself in them. even if my physical body doens't really experience it. I think shared dreams could be a phenomenon of this. the essence of someones personality travels the world through little things here and there in the most obscure and untraceable of ways, and we al recieve a peice of eachother in the process. some people with a certain connection can project anothers personality so well, that just the other person understanding of this connection can confirm it in their own heads. They may both decide to dream the same thing.
I guess this connection doens't have to be a personal one either, it could just be simliarly structured minds.

I kinda jsut went on for a bit there.. forgive me if it makes no sense. I feel this is a place to spill my arbitrary thoughts
      good times

You don't both need to be lucid. You just need to find your target and you can tell them they're lucid. You just need to avoid working with lazy people who only want you to find them to make them lucid. To maximize the odds of success, both parties have to be trying.

Personal I'm a disbeliever of this kind of stuff. But to increase the possibility of a scientific breakthrough:

Too be honest I don't know how good the actual rar encryption is. But I remember it not as the best one. So use a "non" breakable file format. e.g. 7zip with aes256.

Do you have some people beside this forum and the Internet that can lucid dream. If you try some psi-inter-human-connections (whatever) it may could be helpfully if you know the person a bit and you too sleeping at the same time.

It's an interesting idea even if I'd be sceptical without seeing it come to fruition. Still, this is what this forum is about.

No harm trying this out, it's really quite interesting.

I am also skeptical as well, it will most likely not go anywhere, but the simple fact that it costs me nothing to try , and the implications if it does work being so huge that I simply must give it a shot.

About 7zip with aes256 VS winrar- I have perused the internet and so far didn't find any article/forum thread which specifically said 7zip is better and more secure - perhaps you can give me a link?

Still, even if someone gives me the password and give me some amazing story I will not accept it at face value. for me to believe anything I also have to remember the lucid dream and our accounts must be similar, and it has to happen at the same day and at roughly the same time. If I begin to suspect fraud I will exclude that person from this experiment and change my encryption. I'd rather this experiment never yield a positive result rather than one that misguides people.

no, ukraine doesn't seem to have a rich LD community

This sounds like a cool experiment and I'd love to try it out, but I haven't had a lucid dream in a couple of months so this will be hard for me. A good excuse to get back into lucid dreaming again, though.

By the way, in the one-in-a-million chance that I do happen to get a lucid dream sometime soon and have a shared dream with you, do you speak Russian?

Also, I agree with mowglycdb that it might be a good idea for participants to chat with you via instant messaging or something once or twice to get to know you a bit, and therefore make more of a 'spiritual connection'.
