The Stowaways (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I am in my childhood home, heading toward the back of the house. I see a small person-like figure dart through my brother's old room and hide behind the dresser. I intend to check this out, but something catches my attention and I forget all about it until I witness the same thing later.

I call to my mom for backup as I slowly approach the dresser. What could be back there? Suddenly, a wild toddler springs out. He's screaming madly and trying to bite me. I yell in fright before attempting to restrain the crazy child, hauling him into my mom's room. Suddenly, I "remember" that this is my little brother. Apparently we all forgot that he exists, so he took to hiding in the walls like a rat.

But then--- plot twist! Another little boy shows up. Both boys are naked except for diapers, and I wonder how they've been using the bathroom all this time. This new boy is *actually* my forgotten little brother. The other one had simply found his way into the house somehow. My "actual" brother growls at the imposter and territorily chases him out of the house.

Lucid Distractions (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I suddenly have a terrible problem where saliva is pouring out from underneath my tongue like a fountain. As I run to the sink, I remember that this only ever happens in dreams. Still, the problem is so uncomfortable that I must find a way to make it stop before I carry on with the dream. I mistakenly believe that I once ended this by playing tennis, so I pretend that I'm playing tennis with my reflection to distract myself.

The distraction is too good. I forget I'm dreaming and lose the scene.

Suicide Mission (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I am in a group of kids aged 9-14. We are our own little army, equip with all manner of firearms. My particular unit is about to go on a suicide mission to end a rogue band of drug dealers that have been threatening us for far too long. If we don't take them out, the younger ones will suffer for it. We each have a little packet of cyanide in case we get captured.

Our leader walks up to the door and counts to three. I assume that we're firing at whoever comes out the door, so I position myself beside the door and take aim. I assumed wrong.

When our leader knocks on the door, I realize she's setting up a fake drug deal to lure our victims into a false sense of security so that we can infiltrate their base and take them all out. Upon realizing this, I hastily try to put my gun away before I'm noticed. Too late. The drug dealer realizes he's being set up, and all hell breaks loose.

My leader yells at me amidst the fighting for screwing everything up. "I'm sorry!" I yell back. "You didn't explain the operation to me! How was I supposed to know!"

Demonology (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

After attempting to ride my bike back to campus and getting lost, I somehow end up being forced to help a demon regain power. I learn that new technology will burn the demon out of her host, so I attempt to burn her out with my cell phone. Her croney catches me before I can succeed. When I try the same tactic again later, she merely laughs at me. She had regained her full power by this point, and technology could no longer hurt her.

Anything for the Child (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Most of my dreams during this night are spent in prison, as I've been watching Orange is the New Black rather obsessively. At some point, I think after prison, I end up having a daughter named Jenni. (I believe I have other children too, but I only seem to really care about Jenni for some reason.) At my school, Jenni falls out of the bell tower and dies.

I alter all of reality to save her. In the new timeline I've created, I give Jenni up for adoption as a baby, leaving a long letter with her for why it has to be done. Altering time has resulted in me not meeting any of the people I'm supposed to know in college; I am the only one who remembers the other timeline. That is, until I go to visit Jenni in the orphanage when she's about 4 and she actually remembers me.

Fun night, despite not sleeping much.

Krueger Propaganda (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I spontaneously become lucid in the middle of a somewhat hectic situation that I can no longer remember. I decide to fly away.

I start from my house and fly over the trees, the back road, and the forest. All along the way, there are Freddy Krueger posters EVERYWHERE with strange and violent quotations on them. "Hmm, I wonder what he's up to," I murmur to myself. I fully expect him to show up and try to cause trouble. He'd better stay away if he knows what's good for him. ((It is a running joke among my friends that I was married to Krueger and am now divorced.))

I am flying Peter Pan style, and it is quite an exhilerating feeling. I pass by a lot of beautiful scenery. At one point I stop to talk to some people, but my recall is really hazy and I don't remember what happened next. Sadly, I know there was a lot that happened afterward, I just can't grasp it at the moment.

Demon Opression (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My campus has been overrun by demons who are under the guise of Indian women. I am standing in the lobby of my dorm, preparing to leave. A little girl, around 11, is trying to get in the elevator. I know that once on the elevator, it will draw people in to the demon's dimension, making escape almost impossible. But the girl is convinced that she has to get upstairs to find her sister. I get on the elevator with her, determined to protect her.

We get upstairs and the demon women spot us as soon as we step off the elevator. I grab the little girl and haul her down the hallway, keeping her away from the demons. We never find her sister, but we somehow make it back outside.

Later I am riding to California with my friends to start anew. The world is somewhat post-apocalyptic now; dark and dangerous. As we are leaving, I see my German professor chopping firewood in a temporary camp near the school. I am surprised that he now has a lot of intricate tattoos going down his body.

I've been gone WAY too long. But I've missed lucid dreaming, so now that I'm in college I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.

[Escape from Mary's World]
Through some twisted turn of events, I become trapped in a horrific world governed by an evil little girl named Mary. I am with two other people, my dream dad and a boy similar to Prince Soma from Kuroshitsuji. We spend a very long time attempting to escape the world, but the only exit is blocked. The rest of the world is comprised of a small expanse of forest that extends behind Mary's mansion.

After days of searching, the boy I'm with finally finds a special key. We know that this must be the secret to escape, so we barge into Mary's house. As soon as we set foot through the door, we are ambushed by evil dolls and headless mannequins. Armed with giant hedge clippers, I violently mutilate each of my enemies. At one point, Mary throws an entire dresser at me, which I barely manage to evade. My friend accidentally drops the key during his own fight, but I pick it up just as I figure out that it must fit the locket around Mary's neck. It's the key to her heart, I realize. I manage to put the key in the hole and turn it--- the locket breaks.

Suddenly, Mary turns into a doll and shatters like glass. At her death, the entire world begins unwravelling, leaving us little time to hurry for the exit. I wake up just as we make it to the door.
