Interesting dream--especially the part with the notes. I like anything in a dream where stuff
is written down or otherwise gives sage advice, or imparts some kind of knowledge.

Yup. My dad had it put in a couple of years ago after a tornado tore our town to hell.

Matte-It really wasn't a nightmare, I don't remember being too terribly frightened. I was a little afraid, but I guess since my friend was with me, it wasn't as scary, if that makes sense.

I love zombie/survival themes! Those are the best dreams, period. Was it more like a nightmare?

I even saw a whole section of cart fly out into a field somewhere. I started to think that they should probably close that ride.

My dad started talking about how we were under a tornado warning.

I couldn't have guessed that would happen.

My brother pulled a bulky phone out of my mom's pocket, and said something about how she had taken that instead. I was yelling and screaming at her about it, saying I hated her and such. I had a glass in my hand, and I threw it to the ground. It just bounced. Fuck that. I picked it back up and threw it to the ground again. It smashed everywhere. My mom started yelling at me.

This is funny; I hope it isn't some trouble in your life manifesting in a dream though.

I woke up with a grimace on my face.

I always thought a grimace was a smile due to the McDonalds character, so I looked it up just now

Then, I remember seeing the cats talking to one another. They were talking about leaving into the apartment next door through these open windows. There were more cats over there, apparently. They wanted to visit them, and have them be able to visit. I said no, and closed the windows. One of the cats said
"I can just open the windows again."
I was pissed.

I envy you the ability to use your portal system. I once tried to do something similar--maybe I already told you. I tried to make my nightmare come back. I tried to draw a circle with both hands to outline where ashes should appear, then become red hot, but the line never turned into anything.

What I need to do is find you and let you draw the portal for me. You go lucid a lot more than me. Good for you!

Probably, I love using portals to go different places and to find things out.

Yeah, I wonder why they don't work as well.
Maybe they only work properly when you're on the verge of lucidity, and not thinking clearly?
I feel like as soon as I have the feeling that everything is extremely vivid and real, I think too "logically" for RC's to work?
I don't know, it's just a feeling, there's obviously zero evidence to support this.

It's very interesting to read how you got to Teraluna, and how you experienced it.

After I teleport/portal to a location, my RC's don't seem to work anymore either.
It's not like I'd need them though, I only seem to consider teleporting when I'm lucid and thinking quite clearly.
I can also look at myself in a mirror and see a clear reflection.
