    1. Moving and the Lion

      by , 09-16-2017 at 04:26 PM
08-20-2017 -- At the Hickory house doing packing, I think. Not quite sure what is going on, but there are disappearing pets, and injured cats, and we're trying to figure out what is happening, when I discover that there is a lion running around the neighborhood, killing and eating other animals, and mauling people when it catches them. The neighbors at 8439 are running around in terror, trying to hide behind their big mobile home trailer, while the lion is just laying under the thing, eating the family dog, and occasionally taking a swipe at their legs.

So I'm looking around for Sammy, hoping he's safe, and trying to figure out where the lion is and when it might be safe, and the answer is pretty much never. The lion seems to be hiding off to the right side of the house in an area where the garage should be, but it is not. At one point, I am wandering around trying to find things, and come across the lion around the side of the house, and start to run for the door, and the lion starts to chase me, and I realize the running attracts it's attention. When I was just walking, it paid me much less attention. So I slow down, and before it can react, dart toward it and start scratching it on the head, and to that it reacts like a kitten, and purrs and loves the attention, and I am able to get back into the house, where I borrow somebody's phone and call for animal control to come and get it.

Dobby is here for a while, and trying to protect us, but he moves far too quickly, and is eaten several times (and just pops back into existence, ready to be eaten again) until he learns to make a big, pillow-like shield around himself that the lion just bounces off of. Meanwhile, Billy Damon is here, demonstrating some magic tricks, while a piano competition-like magic convention is going on, with a kids division that is competing, as well as an adult division, and some kids that are a cross between the younger ragtime writers and the stars from the Big Bang Theory are showing off their magic acts.

I keep opening the front door, and the lion is now pretty much camping on the front porch, and I am petting his head until he purrs, and keeping him calm, while urging others to move cautiously, and not trigger his chase instincts by running, while waiting for animal control, who seem to be incredibly slow about getting out here. But finally they arrive, and after a long time of setting up their trucks, they wander around and spray the two lions with some sort of foamy spray that may remove oxygen from the area, and knocks them out, and probably eventually kills them, which kind of bothers me, because now that I've started petting one, I'm bonding to it, and just want to see it removed from the populated area.

But even though I am opposed to the killing of the animals, and just want to get them moved safely, I have grabbed a small bottle of the spray that is killing them, and am running around spraying most of the people in the house (which may be forcing us to move) and giving them a brief spray to the air just in front of their faces, to try and knock them out, yet not kill them, and take everybody out in the hopes of moving them somewhere and getting them out of the way. But of course it is still very dangerous, and some of them turn their heads or don't breathe in, and the whole thing is just a mess.
    2. Flying a Plane 10 Feet Above a Mountain, and Working NCIS with the Hardwicks

      by , 09-12-2017 at 03:53 PM
08-04-2017 -- First part I can remember of this, I have just taken off in a medium sized, but very fast private plane (think something about the size of the smallest major airline plane, but the speed of a Concord. After an extremely short take-off run, we are climbing at about a 45 degree angle. Can't say who is flying at first, but it very quickly turns into Director Leon Vance, though sometimes it is he who is flying it, and sometimes it is a character who is played by Morgan Freeman who is flying with us.

Anyway, I'm sitting in my seat, feeling my ears popping, and thinking how I ought to go up front and be able to see where we are, yet I am uncertain of trying to walk up the aisle while climbing at such a steep angle. Instead I wait until we level out a bit. But when I make my way up front, my eyes are kind of bugging out. We are flying over a mountain road, but we are hugging the mountain, flying just over the tree tops, dodging this way and that to make it around obstacles. I am about to ask about this, wondering what is wrong to cause us to fly this low, when I spot a bunch of other planes flying the same way, so whatever is going on, I guess it is supposed to be going on.

So I'm looking at all this, and watching these tons of planes flying low over the mountain roads, and the scenery is beautiful, and so amazingly close, and as I watch one plane catch a wing in a snowbank and flip over, I think I ought to be video taping all this ... too bad I don't have a camera. Then I remember, there is a camera on my cell phone. But of course, the moment I pull it out, we run out of daylight, and it is suddenly night, so I think I have missed my chance. But I take the camera out anyway, and start filming, and Morgan asks sarcastically if I have night vision on the thing, and as soon as he asks the picture being filmed starts to lighten up nicely, and then we are back to daylight and I am getting some amazing footage.

Slowly my phone is turning into my video camera, and as I flip open the view screen, a cat falls out of it's storage compartment on the camera. It seems to be a cross between Black Lightning and Ray. It is not blind, and not fully black, and a real cuddler ... and it does not belong on the airplane. Vance is making comments, and I am trying to explain that I didn't even know the cat was a part of the camera (which has now turned into a cross between a video camera and a laptop computer, now), and I am trying to fold it up and fit the cat back inside and put it away, but the cat wants more attention and petting, so is not making it easy. Meanwhile, Quinn is starting to make comments about maybe having to do something to the cat, since it is not allowed here.

I'm not sure, but I think I may have woke up briefly here (either that, or I started repeating the details of the dream to myself a couple of times to try and fix them in my memory within the dream), then fell asleep again, back into largely the same dream. I am now working as a sort of a temp in the NCIS office (which is located in a place that is half downtown Orlando by city hall, and half May Company area in Buena Park) wandering around, handling paper work things, while the agents are trying o solve cases around us.

Quinn is starting to put forth a theory to Gibbs. She says she is noticing something strange with the company vehicles that are being sent out and coming back in, and she is starting to see hints that they are being used for some sort of traitorous smuggling operation, and she is starting to pin it down to the person responsible. She is beginning to finger Clayton Reeves, and say he is going bad just like Jenny Shepard did, before him. Gibbs doesn't seem to be buying it, and can't understand the methods she is using to track this down, and nobody else seems to, either, but to be safe, they are trying to break into Reeves' encrypted files, using an automatic cracking program which is running on the floor, which indicates it could take up to something like 16 hours to crack the encryption.

Meanwhile, I am still carrying around boxes of papers, and Gibbs is turning into Dick Hardwick, playing the role of Gibbs, and I'm talking with Claudia, who is meeting him after work, and we're discussing actors and performers, and I am asking something about John Jorgenssen kind of 'deserting' the group as he went off to do other things, and we end up discussing his beautiful daughter who is now a budding country western star, and I'm surprised to learn he even had a daughter, as I thought he had all sons. And by this time Claudia has turned into Luralee, and the dream has somehow shifted for a couple minutes where I find myself elsewhere outside a place where I am renting a room from a combination of Rosemary and some guy that I have never rented a room from, but often dream I have, thinking I've managed to keep things a little cleaner this time, before I find myself crossing a couple of streets to get back to where I was talking with Luralee, except she is now possibly gone.

So I am standing by a drinking fountain, waiting for I have no idea what, when somebody that I think is the actress playing Quinn comes up, cleaning things. I am thinking of saying something to her, when somebody else comes up and makes a comment instead. The person responds by saying she isn't Quinn, she is only the cleaning lady, but they do look a lot alike, though she admits she isn't as wild as the Quinn actress is. About that time, the Leon Vance actor walks out of a room calling out loudly for Leon Vance. He does it once, twice, then you see the look on his face as he realizes he's calling out for himself, and has flubbed the scene, and he calls out a third time, "Leon Vance ... go screw yourself!" as everybody bursts into laughter. Kind of nice that my dream ended on a blooper.
    3. Trying to Save People on B5 thru Drugs, Staying with Friends Who Turn out to be Death Eaters

      by , 06-27-2017 at 12:08 PM
06-27-2017 -- Odd HP/B5 mash-up. First bit I can remember, I am at the Hickory House, which is somehow on B5. I'm being lectured by one person (possibly Sheridan) that I can't save everybody, while being warned by another (probably Delenn) that I have to find a way to save them all! I'm not sure what's going on, but we're drinking something that is supposed to cause odd hallucinations, because it will provide us hints of the future. I drink the thing, and am waiting for the hallucinations to start, and there are bits and flashes of light and movement and stuff, growing into a brighter and brighter flash.

And then I find myself on Hickory, and it is early in the morning. I'm extremely tired, but for whatever reason, home is why I am tired, so I can't go there. Somehow I can remember I was staying at the Goodwins before this, so I decide to go back there, though I fear it is a bad idea (after all, it's early in the morning.) In a sort of dream deja vu, I go there twice. Both times I open the screen door, try the door knob, find it is locked, turn to walk away, and then hear a loud bang that I fear I caused, but I can't figure out how. (In actuality, I think the screen door was on a strong closing thing, and as I walked away, it banged shut.)

Anyway, I know I've done this twice, and am afraid the banging is going to have woken the family up and gotten them mad at me, so I'm about to rush away, hoping not to be seen, but as I glance back, the door is already open, and Barbara is standing there, so I turn back to apologize and explain myself. I explain that since I was staying there briefly the previous afternoon, before going off to however my mind was understanding this bizarre mash-up, I was just trying the knob, combined with mention of how tired I was. I'm also kind of nervous to realize I am standing here in my underwear. Instead of yelling at me, Barbara simply invites me back inside, and I somehow find myself dressed in a full set of blue pajamas, kind of collapsing on an extra bed in Jeff's room, more or less passed out.

I realize Barbara dressed me by magic, and I'm Harry Potter. Jeff's starting to stir, and Marvin is there as well. They are talking quietly, and I'm only half asleep but acting like I'm fully asleep. Jeff is dressed in a green boy scout uniform, and my blue pajamas are morphing into the same. Meanwhile, I've swung back to a sitting position on the bed and am apologizing to Barbara again, except that I am starting to refer to her as Narcissa. But Marvin/Lucius is now and always only Sir. Oddly enough, Jeff stays Jeff, and thankfully doesn't turn into a Draco clone.

Turns out something is going on today, and several of Jeff's Death Eater friends have shown up, and are slowly changing out of their green boy scout uniforms and into their red Death Eater robes, while Narcissa is cooking us all breakfast, trying to prepare us for the day. I'm feeling out of place, sitting here in my green boy scout/Gryffindor robes while everybody else has switched into their red robes, and my mind isn't even catching a hint of the odd color reversals. It does lead me to commenting on how some Death Eaters are perhaps not so bad, while wondering if I ought to dress up in red robes as well. Narcissa is looking at me strangely until I mention "Can't you just imagine the expressions on the faces of all the light-side wizards at seeing me that way?" and she starts laughing.

They head off to what they need to do, and I walk back to the Hickory House, where I now feel ready to head inside again. But as I approach the door, I am briefly stopped by seeing four of my friends walking up, dressed up as a set of super heroes, all different, yet with a hint of uniformity to their costumes that indicate some sort of team. The only one I can identify is David. They are iffy about letting me approach the house in my red robes, but I quickly explain and walk in. The first thing I do inside is approach my room, because I know my cat was left in there, and I figure with my being gone for a day, nobody is likely to have let him out, so I am fearing a mess. As I head into the second bedroom, I am thinking of a more recent cat (probably a cross between Black Lightning and Ray), but what I find is still the old marmalade of Cocoa and Sammy. I'm trying to coax the cat out, but it doesn't want to move. That's about all I can remember of this one.
    4. Luke, I am Your Cousin ... and I Don't Answer Phones!

      by , 06-14-2014 at 04:08 AM
06-13-2014 -- Very strange shifting dream. I am at the Hickory House, probably back to being a kid again, because I am running around the house in the alley, and interacting with Dave and the DuFours and the house is exactly the way it has always been. Then as I walk the couple of doors back to my house, I kind of age, and I am showing up for a visit. I wander a couple of doors down and am talking with Jeff and his parents, and it is pretty late in the evening, something like 9:45 or so. I am telling them that I have to go back home and get something, then come back and speak with them, but I promise it will only take about 15 minutes. They say no way ... too bad. I had bought them a valuable necklace worth hundreds of thousand dollars, that is a very powerful piece of magic, and may save everybody in the area or something. And now that they will not allow me to talk with them about whatever dangerous thing is happening, they will lose out on the protection.

So I walk back home, and it is now the middle of the day, instead of late at night, and as I walk up, the UPS guy or someone has just finished leaving a package. Melody has also just pulled up, and has boxes of stuff. And there are several other boxes and things waiting at the door as well. Turns out it is just a day or two before Christmas, and Melody is telling me she has a nice Christmas present for me, and don't worry, I don't have to wait until Christmas to get it. I am telling her I have a nice present for her, too (thinking about the necklace), and thinking I'm not so impatient that I can't wait until Christmas for presents. Besides, I am very happy that I noticed several boxes from amazon.com among all the stuff waiting in the front yard.

I walk inside to say hello to mom, and then start grabbing the various boxes and moving them inside (while not looking too closely at them to avoid Christmas spoilers) and Melody is talking about how the place is a pig sty and working at cleaning things up. I expect she may want my help, and am explaining that if we are going to work on some cleaning up, I may work on cleaning my room. It isn't too bad, so I am thinking if I can spend just one hour cleaning my room, I will probably be able to get it almost perfect. Meanwhile, we are both walking outside to clean up all the trash in the front yard, and Melody has decided to put her cat, Boots, outside while we are cleaning, but he doesn't want to go, and is digging his claws in and things. Once he's out the door, I pet him for a bit and explain he is still loved and wanted, we just need to clean things up.

So I am gathering up lots of trash in the front yard. Empty boxes, crates from mailing stuff, styrofoam, and a lot of empty pizza boxes, and cramming it all into a very large, but very beat up trash can, which is on the edge of coming apart. As I am doing so, I am telling Melody that as soon as Christmas is over, we may want to replace the trash can. I start telling hew how beat up it is ... and then I notice how it has an address painted on it that I have never seen before, for a street I know isn't anywhere within a mile of here. And I recall a strange sound while I have been driving my car the last few days from Florida to get here, and wonder if I dragged it all the way from Florida under the car, which might explain how bad of shape it is in. Meanwhile, Melody is looking at some of the Christmas decorations, including the angel on the wall with a crown of blinking Christmas tree lights, wondering if it is broken because she doesn't see the lights blinking. I explain they are working fine, and I can see them blinking, but I am looking from further down the front steps and it is darker, which makes it easier for me to see the lights.

I am almost done with the trash, and I need to go to the bathroom, and I can hear the house phone ringing inside, and everything is happening at once. We have a sort of extended family gathering going on, and I think my cousin Lyle has just pulled up outside, and I need to get to the toilet, and that blasted phone is still working. So I run inside and down the hall to the bathroom, just as my cousin walks in the door, but it isn't Lyle, it is Luke ... Skywalker. And he is screaming at me "Answer the @#$%& phone! You never answer the @#$%& phone! Damn it, answer the @#$%& phone, already!" I am sitting in the bathroom, and the whole house is under some construction, and half the bathroom wall has been removed (the top half) and people can just look in at you, and we are in the middle of putting back in the shelves along the bathroom wall. And I yell back at him "I'm in the freaking bathroom! I never answer the phone when I am in the freaking bathroom! Do you?!?"

Meanwhile, everything is changing. The reason we are doing all this construction on the house is that mom eventually sold the house, and the person who bought it was Rosemary (an ex-landlord), and the house that I lived in for several years (in Florida) was the Hickory House, but they changed it and expanded it, and we're now in the process of changing it all back, since we've bought it back again. I finish going to the bathroom (though I am now running around in my underwear. It doesn't seem to bother me any, though.) And I walk up to Luke Skywalker, and tell him I have words for him. I start forcibly explaining how I quit answering the house phone when I got my own cell phone, and I did it for a very good reason. Mom owned the house phone, and if I answered it, and took messages for her, some of them would get lost, and she would never get them. But if I stuck to my phone and she stuck to hers with her own answering machine, we both got all our calls, and we were both very happy. By this time, I am explaining calmly, and explain that I only answer the house phone when I told an important call is expected, and to please answer when it came in ... and nobody told me he would be trying to call.

We are having this discussion in Rosemary's living room, which has somehow replaced my bedroom which was in the house just five minutes earlier. Luke compliments me, and tells me that it was very well explained, and very well thought out, and he is impressed with how I calmed myself and the situation down, with how he had started it all off by yelling at me, and we step outside the house to find that everything has changed outside as well (from when I was out here five minutes ago.) It is still the Hickory house, but instead of being all block it is now half block and half wood. It is still on Hickory Drive, but instead of being a straight, level street, it is now the top of a significant hill, and the street curves out of sight where Holly used to be, to connect with Crescent. The house next door has been torn down entirely, and we have put up a sort of storage shed tunnel sort of thing like the house next door on the other side used to have, and I am saying "I was only gone for a year-and-a-half, how on Earth has everything changed so much?!?" Never mind that it has actually only been five minutes. "How has everything changed so much in under a year? How has the street changed? How are we now on a hill?" I glance toward what should be the intersection of Hickory and Crescent, where there is now a freeway interchange. "How is there a freeway inter ... you know, actually the freeway interchange explains all the other changes. But an entire new freeway in under a year ... that's rather impressive."
    5. Marshall, the Abused Kid, and the Body Snatcher

      by , 09-14-2013 at 12:12 PM
09-13-2013 -- [Not sure if this was one dream, or two dreams that kind of flowed together, but since I can't tell, I am posting it as one.]

I'm at Peter Marshall, trying to visit my old teachers, when I find myself in an argument with a principal or administrator who looks just like John Laurenitis (wrestling personality). He wants me off school grounds and is making a big fuss about it, and being a real jerk, so I somehow kind of move through space until I am standing across the street from the back gate of the school.

He slowly makes his way out there, and starts to laugh at me because I was in such a hurry to get away from him, I left my black backpack at the school, and he is enjoying rubbing my face in the fact that he doesn't ever plan to let me have it back. Of course, that's about the time that a sort of a cross between a bus and a mobile home pulls up, and the driver (who is kind of a cross between a bus driver and a janitor, and looks like Chi McBride) opens the door and tosses me my backpack, explaining he thought I might want this.

I thank him, and the principal rants and raves a bit, then decides to get his revenge about talking me up as some sort of child molester or something, as if it is for the little kids that I stop by to visit, rather than to see the teachers I knew when I went to school there. Unfortunately, a lot of the parents who live in the area believe him, and start to make my life hell. Including one of the people living on the street ... Anne.

So the parents are berating me and warning their kids to stay away from me, and I hurry down the street, trying to find some place to hide and relax. I jump a fence or a hedge or something, and find a cross between a side yard and a car port to try and hide in, and I seem to be mostly out of sight, but unfortunately I am right next door to Anne's, and the house that I am at is owned by a lady who is actually crazy, so I am really not at the best place, facing off with some nut case.

Meanwhile, I have had lots of dreams in this area over the years, and in one of them, I was helping to protect this little kid who was being abused by one of the adults in his life, and listening to the people around him starting to talk bad about me, he refuses to join in, refuses to avoid me, and since the adult has started to abuse him again, he is actually trying to run away to go with me. I am wearing a long beige trench coat (fully clothed underneath ... I am not a child molester even in my dreams) and as he runs up to me and hides within my coat, many of the parents begin to realize that what they've been told is nonsense, and they start to know I'm an OK guy.

The crazy woman turns out to be his mother, and she is not the one that is abusing him, but she is messed up enough that she doesn't know how to protect him, and may not even realize he needs protection. But whoever is abusing him is now coming for him, so I gather him up in my arms, still kind of wrapped in the trench coat, and start to hurry down the street. I walk fast down Nancita to Greenleaf, then up a block to Aurora and start heading back the other way, but things are kind of shifting as they do in a dream.

This is where one dream may have ended, and another may have begun, but if so, it all still seems kind of tied together. The street has turned into a sort of hotel corridor, and I find we're running around in this hotel dodging people, trying to keep the kid safe ... yet at the same time I am by myself somewhere where Chyanne and Joel live. Somehow I have been kind of hiding in a bedroom, and I seem to have been masturbating or something, but somehow this has left an odd sort of 'aura' to the room, where now anybody who walks into it will also have to masturbate. Strange.

Anyway, soon that is gone, and I am back in this hotel, and the crazy lady who was a brunette is kind of turning blonde, and we're now looking for her kid while trying to avoid the ever-more-frightening guy who is chasing them, and he is turning into some sort of an evil villain who should be dead, but his spirit has been possessing people or something. For some reason he really, really wants to possess the kid, so we're trying to keep him away from him.

It's a little bit of a chase dream, running up and down stairways and in and out of doorways, and more and more people are getting involved. The blonde is becoming Ali Larter, which may not be completely surprising, as the evil guy who wants to possess the kid looks like David Anders (Adam Monroe in Heroes.) More and more people are getting involved, and somehow I get separated from the group for a bit, as they are forced to ride a deadly roller coaster that I can hear roaring about overhead, as I find myself at the entrance to a shopping mall, where I am just kind of waiting and trying to keep an eye out for them.

Soon we are back together, and a police woman or something of the sort (a woman in charge of things wherever we are) is leading us to a room where we are supposed to meet with and kill the bad guy, which will only require a touch to a wound on his arm. Nobody wants to do it, and I finally say I will do it, to protect the kid and everybody else, but with the whole possession thing, I am worried that somehow it will open me up to being the one who is possessed.

But as we approach the door that we are to open and enter, I notice that the blonde is acting more and more strange, and not herself, and I begin to wonder if it might have already happened, and he might have possessed her, and leave us to dispose of the evidence of his previous body. So I have to grab and trap her, as well as trying to stop everybody else.

Things get a little hectic, and everyone is running every which way. The blonde was possessed, but he fled from her. Meanwhile, the body which used to be his is now free, and is a low level crook who ought to be stopped, but he isn't dangerous enough to be really important. The real evil has been destroyed, so the main villain has been defeated.

I chase the body he used to inhabit into a small snow-covered courtyard, where he bolts for a very small door (about normal height, but only about eight inches wide, like a tiny door to a cupboard or something), which he locks behind him, and he has managed to make his escape.

Meanwhile, the no-longer-possessed blonde was left laying unconscious in the building, and everybody else has kind of walked off. I am upset about the guy getting away, worried about the kid, and kind of horny, and I decide now that she is no longer possessed, a little sex might help make up for a kind of a bad day.

I walk back into the room where she was, and she is no longer laying there, so I have to search for her. I find her hiding, and pull her out. I push her down onto a table and start to undress her, planning to have my way with her, but she is turning into a cat, and I find myself putting her in a decent sized box with another cat, and also adding a long strip of cat litter, about four-by-eight inches, that is somehow holding together, as I prepare to take them somewhere.
    6. Spy Games and the Miniature Golf Course

      by , 12-22-2012 at 05:28 PM
12-17-2012 -- I'm in my bedroom in the middle of the night, perhaps in my current house ... not too sure. I am trying to find a time when nobody is in the hall or the kitchen so I can sneak two gallon jugs of urine to the restroom. There are hints of cat or dog poop on the floor, both smelling, and having to be avoided, and maybe a hint of something about my sister, but that bit really wasn't too clear.

Somehow it leads to a sort of city scene in a park-like setting (feels kind of like Boisseranc) with a bit of a cop / spy sort of feeling to the setting. I'm hiding from somebody who isn't really an enemy, in fact, almost a friend. Three bombs fall out of the sky just a couple of blocks away, in the direction they're coming from, and I am getting a little bit worried.

I start to run in that direction, and soon find my friend. We're right near a house, and we're being told to hide it in, and to crawl into a hidden cellar through a vent in the kitchen. I am worried about this, fearing the cramped area it might be, but as I drop into it, I find it is instead a very large room with easy access through several vents in the house, and it could almost be comfortable.

The other guy who is with me doesn't like it at all, but I don't have too much problem with it, though some furniture or something might be nice. There is a cute blonde (or perhaps a red head) napping in a chair, and I decide to pretend to be asleep as well, to try and get close to them. Suddenly there is a large, but shallow pool here, and I fall into it while still pretending to be asleep, which really isn't working out all that well. Just about the time I get close enough to randomly flop an arm against her in my sleep for a gentle caress, the lovely lady has turned into a marmalade cat. Phooey. But still nice to pet.

Now the other guy has turned into two guys. Their identity isn't an exact thing, but rather a type. It is like Fraiser and Niles Crane or some other pair of brothers or close friends who also fight and compete a lot. There was another comparison, but I can't remember the other pair, and can't decipher my writing at that bit, either, so I'm afraid I've lost that bit. Anyway, suddenly the two guys and the gal are all running after a younger kid, and I follow along.

I am making up some kind of theory of the guys seeing the younger kid as a grandson or nephew, and the lovely lady seeing him (and them) in a similar way that leaves her open and available for me. Anyway, we're running through the park-like area again, passing a ball field before we come to what almost seems to be a country club or something. Very fancy place.

Wandering through, I spot somebody who almost seems to be a cross between Luralee and Irene B., who I think I know, but it turns out to be somebody else. I continue wandering around with the teen kid and the lady, and soon find I have removed some sort of long lapel pin or something, and I keep sticking myself with it as I try and store it in a pocket. Ouch.

Soon it is just myself and the lovely lady, and we end up playing miniature golf on a course at the country club. We're several holes in, and I find myself making two holes-in-one on slightly trick holes where if you make it into a certain hole on your first shot, it is an automatic hole-in-one. Problem is, I seem to have bypassed a couple of holes by wandering to another part of the course, so I have to figure which holes I got the perfect scores on.

The course is all themed to a sort of Jurassic Park theme, but in miniature, with tall palm trees and huge tyrannosaurus rex that come up to about your knee. Very nice looking, and some fun holes to play, but I have to find my lady again and manage to get the score card corrected.

As I claim my ball from one of the automatic holes-in-one, I find two or three other balls, and am trying to find the people they belong to, including one lady who thought she had lost her ball and went to get another one, and never realized she'd scored a hole-in-one. Very fun dream.
    7. Locker Rooms and Adventurers Club Rememberances

10-19-2012 -- [Weird, disjointed, all over the place.] I find myself at a place which ought to be my house, but instead it feels like a place where I am just visiting for a few minutes. Oddly enough I am watching TV laying on a bed in this house that isn't mine. On the way here, I saw what looked like Cocoa (a cat I had some 30 years ago) and called it over and it came to me, so it probably was. I brought it and another cat, a black one (but thicker than Black Lightning) with me to this house that isn't mine, but where I am still laying on a bed watching TV.

Somehow it turns to listening to some sort of radio broadcast or something, though still on the same system, and then I end up scratching a record (or perhaps a CD) while trying to switch out which one was playing on the old fashioned turntable. Somebody is asking about the cat, and I explain it is mine, and I will take it with me when I leave.

Somehow I soon find myself in a locker room after either a gym class, or using a gym. For some reason we are using the ladies locker room because they told us to, something with scheduling, but now a bunch of ladies are supposed to be coming in, so I am changing clothes really slowly, waiting around and hoping to see something. But for the longest time we're the only ones here, and when I finally spot a lady on the other side of the locker room, she's already changed into her exercise outfit and is leaving. Darn!

Soon I find I am walking through an area somewhere at Disney World, heading for a meeting with Keith T. and Happy. I pass some guy playing really badly on a guitar, and am not impressed with the song he has written, though Keith raves about the guy. I get into the restaurant where I am meeting with Keith, only to find he is here to talk about and introduce me to a guy who he says was around the Adventurers Club as much as I was, but disagrees with every opinion I have about the place.

I think that makes him an idiot, because I loved the place, and if he disagrees with me about everything, he hates the place, but still hung out there several hours a night, seven days a week. Surely a sure sign of an idiot. Anyway, the location keeps flashing back and forth between this restaurant and the Club, itself, as we're either talking about things or watching actual shows at the Club.

Keith is talking excitedly about the mask with the eyes that move, and wondering how he missed it, and I point out that I showed him that mask a couple of times, and he must have a bad memory or something. He also shows me video footage of one of the peacock statues around the main salon playing some sort of card game with it's beak, and I have to admit I had never seen one of them do that.

This other big fan who actually hated the place is there, and talking about people simulating sex in the main salon with their clothes on, and even going as far as to demonstrate, while insulting me and telling me I would never notice, because nobody would want to do that with me, anyway. What a jerk.

Anyway, by this time Keith is about to leave, and is gathering up some kind of weird contact lenses that he has kind of 'built' for some black thug who is supposed to be paying him well for them, except I look in a mirror and see the black thug entering the restaurant behind us, and preparing to kill Keith and just take them. I tell Keith to run, and he doesn't get it, so I think there is a good chance he gets it.

And suddenly I find myself at home, waiting to use the restroom so I can take a shower, when a bunch of young ladies who shouldn't be here keep using the restroom, instead. One of them leaves the door open, and I manage to catch sight of one not too impressive chest before she closes the door.

Random dream, all over the place, and not much storyline.
    8. Mom's New Pad, the Cats and the Clowns

      by , 08-07-2012 at 02:31 PM
8-7-12 -- Find myself at mom's new apartment, though I have no idea how I got there. Have let myself in with my key and am looking around downstairs, but no sign of mom. I do hear her calling out to somebody about needing lunch or something, and suddenly find a computer that still has something on the screen ordering delivery from Checkers.

I see a staircase and start to head upstairs. It has extra braces and such, and seems to be reinforced, but it is still kind of unstable. I climb most of the way up, and come to a place where there is a beam running across the entire width of the stairs right at hand rail height, and I am trying to figure out if you are supposed to climb over it or under it. I glance to where the stairway connects to the second floor, and there is a wall there with a gap of maybe 10 inches. I might be able to squeeze through this, but mom never could! I am trying to figure out what is going on here.

That's when mom calls to me from the first floor, and explains to me that I am on the wrong staircase. They had to put a new one in for her to make use of, and it blocked off the old one. So I am going to have to climb back down this rickety staircase which is turning into more of a ladder as I start to turn around. The supports are starting to pull out of the wall, and the entire thing is about to collapse when I kind of half step, half drop off it and onto the ground in the kitchen.

Mom leads me around to the other staircase and upstairs. The 'staircase' is made of overlapping metal bits, and it moves. It doesn't form stairs like an escalator, but instead looks like one of the luggage carousels at the airport, except it leads upstairs. I guess I caught mom in the shower, because she is wearing a towel. Because of this, I can tell she has lost a lot of weight. She is still fat, but probably no more than 200 pounds, as opposed to the 400 pounds that she used to weigh.

Now we're upstairs, and she tells me she may have forgotten to let me know, but she has now gotten a roommate, Donna Peeler's daughter, and she is teaching another young woman (who looks kind of like Torri) to become a clown. [This is kind of odd, since my mom died before I ever got into the whole clown thing.] As I step into the room I am practically accosted by the first of perhaps a dozen cats who wants to be petted.

I keep coming across more and more cats, all in good health and well-groomed, each with beautiful coats, and all with different colors and probably at least three or four different breeds of cats. Gorgeous animals, and all very friendly and wanting attention.

Mom is complaining that she can't get anybody to come around and do any gardening work, even for pay, and I am asking if she misses the guy who came by and did the lawns on Hickory. I can't remember his name, but I am trying Fowler and Fletcher. Fletcher sounds right. [In truth, I can't even remember the name in real life anymore. Been too many years.] Anyway, mom keeps teaching clown make-up to the one gal, and Peeler's daughter is walking around half-dressed, and I can't help but notice she's kind of cute.
