Dream 1 - Family
I remember walking to work along the main road in town, it must have been after my lunch break or something. I saw across the road my ex and our kid, she was shopping for underwear with her sister. I shouted out to her and crossed the road, surprised and happy to see them. For some reason we decided to try on some underwear, it doesn't seem weird at first that we're outside.. but then I guess we realize where we are and go inside the underwear shop to change back to our normal clothes.

Dream 2 - Water challenge
I was outside a house in a forested area resembling the looks that most of the houses have near where I use to live. There's a pool nearby and I'm someone challenged me to breathe underwater for 15 minutes (it was part of some kind of genies' trick, a small part of a larger competition I think..). I pay attention to what he says, specifically that the words 'breathe underwater' which I realized meant that I should be literally breathing while under the surface of the water... I fill up a water bottle and for some reason get confused >_> I had an idea in my head for how to breathe underwater except fucked it up. I then empty the bottle, make a hole in the bottle and somehow fashion it into a snorkel. Wallah! I can't remember if I got to use it but I know I passed, I ended up running off down the driveway to whatever else I was meant to be doing, but then my alarm went off.

Dream
The dream begins with me and someone else running towards a house at night. We're trying to free the ghost of a girl who was murdered, she haunts the house we're heading to. We go inside and walk around for a while, I can't remember how but we avenge her spirit. I'm in the lounge with the ghost while my friend heads off somewhere. She looks about 17-18 with medium length Egyptian style black hair, she's quite attractive but I'm nearly 5 years her senior so I have an 'eh no thanks' thought going through my head. I sit down on the couch, it's a pretty simple square room which has either a beige or light yellow wallpaper to colour. She wants to thank me for helping her, so she flicks the lights off... It's pitch black and I can feel her getting closer to me, she kisses me but I have a feeling she's up to something. I turn the light back on and tell her I'm not interested, I say something like "I'll go check to see if my parents are ready to leave yet". I still felt some kind of evil about her, I didn't want to fall for her seductive ruse.

I head into the next room, it's a lounge that resembles the one in my parents' house. My mum is sitting on the leather couch with my dad sitting on the arm of the chair, between them is a damply lit lamp that sets a heavy tone. It feels like they were talking about some adult problems before I walked in and interrupted. "Are we leaving soon?" I ask, "yes we're just about to head out" my mum replies. I get changed into my pj's, they have dinosaurs on them I think.. I feel like I'm a little kid and we're heading home after being out camping for a week. We're in the car now, I'm sitting in the back seat, my parents are in front with my dad driving. It's still dark outside, though not completely. There's a torrential downpour too... The road we're on is coastal, to the left is a rocky cliff rising up high while to the right is a rocky seawall with big waves lapping up against it. We drive around a bend on the road and an epic scene awaits, a huge shape bursts from the water. At first I'm unsure about what it is, but I recognize that it's something from Avatar the Last Airbender (it isn't...). I think to myself that it must be a multi-legged bug monster or the evil mecha episode, except it's happening live (it strikes me as odd that it's only just happening yet I've supposedly seen the episode). I get a closer look and realize it's the evil mecha episode, oh fuck. I remember how in the episode it gets chased by a good mecha and they collide near the bridge crossing, breaking the bridge. Fuuuuu... It would take forever to get home if the bridge broke :/. "DAD! Speed up! We have to get across the bridge!" I yell, hoping that I've convinced him despite knowing that I'm a kid and that no one believes kids.. He speeds up though, we're flooring it and the evil mecha is accelerating with a huge gush of water jetting into the sky from the speed its going at. We come to the turn at the bridge, my dad does a turn and break to skid the car to a stop (no easy feat with slick of water), we bump into a side wall slightly before accelerating again. The evil mecha has arrived at the bridge and turns around to face the approaching good mecha. Our car crossing the bridge, the torrential rain pelting the roof, the huge mechas shrouded by a thin mist as they charge towards each other. Everything happens in that moment, the mechas collide as the car touches the otherside of the bridge, a huge force explodes outwards and obliterates the bridge behind us. I'm thrown out of the car as it skids to a halt by the edge of road. I fly through the air and land in the ocean, there's something else that flew out with me though and I try to swim and get it. Fuck, it's too far... There's a dinghy nearby, I'm anxious about the water depth so I swim over to it. It's almost completely submerged, but atleast I put it under me to ward any sharks away. There's a rope attached and my parents start pulling me back to shore.

There's a minor scene change, instead of heading back to the shore I'm in the water again. My parents are in the dinghy and I swim over, my dad wants to show me what to do in this sort of situation and is being all like "Oh so just in case this ever happens to you and you're on your own I'll show you what to do". He was just inferring it was good time to practice. The dreams ends here .

Dream
I remember being on a platform with some people, a few of which I was friends with I think. I can't recall how we ended up there, but we weren't supposed to be on it. It was like it was heaven or something.. There was this huge demon guy who we were hiding from, but it was impossible to hide up there, I was just crouched down in the cloudy/misty floor with nothing to hide behind. There's also something about snakes being in the centre of the platform though I didn't see any. He discovered me and my friends (we were split up at the time I think) and picked us up. Oh shit.. He starts walking to the edge of the platform and we know he's going to throw us off. It's hard to explain this next part, but while I was being carried there was.. a pair of socks with me, which I think represented my friends? And there was a bird fluttering around, I was in third person, but I couldn't see myself. The bird was trying to save me, so it put a block of cheese on top of the sock, but its plan failed (see? That doesn't make any sense O_O). We get dropped off the edge, you can't see anything below because there's only a thick mist. We're plummeting down, the bird tries to remove the cheese from the sock and I have to get inside the sock. We splash into water, it's kind of green and murky. There's snakes swimming in the water, I climb up on the side of the platforms support structure but there's like fuck all to hold onto. I see them slithering beneath the surface, oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck. There's a huge variation in size and colour, red, green, brown, blue, some look like they'd be 20 metres long while others are <10 inches. My friends have gone somewhere, one of them is Daniel. They do something and all the water drains away. It should have been really deep water but the ground is right beneath me.. It's all mudflat, I'm super nervous about stepping onto it because there's burrow holes which can only be where all the small snakes went. Where are the big snakes? They must have follow where the water went... My friend Daniel is here now, on the mudflat, there's something about a small snake nearly biting him I think? I can see an exit not far away which we decide to head towards. I walk across the mudflat and there's this one snake that I keep trying to avoid but it never gets further away because of dream reasons.

Dream fragment
This was pretty vivid, I remember being in my bed and everything in my room seemed normal. But then I felt my cat jump on my bed... I only felt it, I didn't turn to look since I was just lying with my head in my pillow. Now I KNOW this was a dream, because earlier in the night I had put her out of my room. At the time I was like "Oh, that'll be Peaches" (my cats name, she's ginger ). I felt her walk around my body and towards my head. I then thought "Wait, didn't I put her out? Hmm but she's clearly here... I guess she got back in somehow?". I absolutely want to kick myself for not realizing this was a dream, I was aware enough to question it but the setting was just SO mundane and consistent with reality that the thought never even crossed my mind.

Dream 1 - seds exam
Me and my friend John are in a car and driving around for part of a field trip related to the sedimentology paper we're studying. I remember being near the coastline and seeing some calm water while we're on a dirt road nearby under the canopy of some pine trees. I think we're pissy about something. We're back in the paleosed lab in our geology department studying for the exam now which is related to the field trip we've just been on. John tells me that the other people studying have placed the 'backshore' zone *here* (he shows me somehow, maybe with a picture). I get annoyed, "dude they're doing it wrong. Look at this" I start illustrating the beach and shoreface zones in their entirety and start teaching him about everything. "Well damn mister sedimontologist huhuhu" he says jokingly (kind of an inside joke where he's saying I'm a smartass ).

Dream 2 - Goddess Nightmare
This dream was a little weird. I remember being on a boat, surrounded by water. I know that in the direction behind me is land somewhere but I can't see it. There are other people on the boat but I don't recall seeing them. There's internal dialogue going on, I'm just.. Thinking?
"The beginning of the world was due to the contact between the gods and goddesses" (this is similar to Greek mythos I think, Oranos the sky father and Gaia the earth mother). I'm in the water now, the boat is non existant and the dream is showing the distance between gods. I represent a god that is wading in the water, while in the distance I know there is another god but she's only just visible and is wading in the water. It's supposed to be impossible to contact one another, but the dream story says that we do and that is how everything begins.

It is now a different time, the 'present'. Mankind has to be careful of the gods and goddesses because they walk among us in disguise. They require constant sacrifices every day. Some seduce their prey and kill them in their houses. I think a hot woman picks me up and we head to her house. She's actually a goddess (surprised?)... I think she goes into another room to get change and tells me to wait here (in the living room I guess). I think I somehow discover she's a goddess as I seem to see her on her bed in a red fishnet body dress thing. She was doing erotic stuff and I was like "oh shit she's going to kill me" so I ran and hid. Another person turns up and she kills him instead. I'm hiding in her closet but it's full of 'skins'. Like body suits she can wear to disguise herself. Behind them all is another door which takes me into another bedroom. She's still after me so I think I bolt out the window and onto the grass outside. I run downhill on the lawn towards the main road and manage to escape but the whole time I was terrified. Like she could get ahead of me somehow and come around some corner with an axe like they do in the horror movies O_O. I decided I wanted to wake up so I did.
