I see. I can usually read just fine, but words will be mostly nonsensical. My hands always look normal, which is why my reality check of choice is the nose pinch. I hate having pretty good sense in a dream but still not quite being lucid. I've been trying all day awareness, but it's hard.

Which rules did it break? Sorry for the late reply. For one, I can't normally read in a dream and I know most people can't. But I was able to read the sticker enough to know roughly what the tower's name was and know that it contained mercury. The second thing is that looking at your hands is a reality check, since they'll usually look weird in a dream. But mine just had staining on my fingertips, they were normal. Kinda sucked that I was aware enough to know that touching mercury was bad and that I should wash off residue, but I wasn't lucid.

No, it's what some people call an 'ace ring'. It's a symbol of asexuality.
Is your ring, a mood ring?
I mean yeah, I'd trust him in real life.
For many years, it's not been normal for me to have any dreams where I'm weak or anything like that. Generally speaking, these days my dream self is far more physically capable than my waking self. When I was a kid, I did have a lot of dreams and nightmares about being unable to carry on/catch up, run or hold someone off/away from me. I think that type of thing can be normal for a lot of people, especially in childhood. However, it sounds like what you've had in this dream was different from that? I'm not entirely sure from your description. And it doesn't seem like your weakness was afflicting you emotionally? If there's no special emotional element to it, I'm thinking the reason for it could simply be to do with how your dream mind is considering itself in terms of what state the body is/should be in. You could also use this as a lucidity cue by making an intent on noticing and questioning this weakness in dreaming, before you go to sleep at night, especially if it's happening semi-frequently.
do you reckon your brother would have found a knife that would be cool enough for you?
I have a small collection that I'm growing over time, so I'm a beginner collector.
do you actually collect knives ?
