I watched the first How to Train Your Dragon two days ago and the second yesterday, in hopes that I could at least get points for the theme, even if I couldn't get lucid. It paid off! That's a clever idea. I haven't thought of doing that.
Whoa, that's a lot of dreams! I remember thinking, Well, it's not real, so it makes sense So relatable... sometimes I wish my brain was worse at rationalizing haha
It was definitely creepy, but my dream self/subconscious is really good at avoiding scary things; I haven't had a nightmare since elementary school! Also, you've just come back from a trip, so I'm sure your recall will build back up eventually. As for me, I have no excuses, but today it was pretty good
Good work staying calm with a bald guy staring at you, that sounds like it could have been a nightmare easily! My recall has felt really weak lately as well... I believe we can come back
XD Yeah, that one was pretty easy. The other three confused me a bit when I woke up, especially the second one, but I gradually realized that they all had a different "feeling" than real awakenings. When I wake up for real, a lot tends to go through my mind, even when I'm very tired. In these false ones I was just like "aw man, gotta go back to sleep," and was instantly back in a dream with no transition at all. I didn't even consider writing the dreams down, despite them being lucids. Also, I was only asleep in real-time for 25 minutes; it most likely would have been longer if they had been true awakenings
I was going to ask how you can identify whether things are a false awakening or a real awakening, then I got to "I was an anime boy buried in a mound of plushies..." haha
Thank you! I actually saw that competition and was disappointed I missed it. I'll probably still be around come June, so more likely than not I'll be participating
Damn nice lucid ratio, keep going man! Enjoying the drawings too. I'm gonna host a 2-week lucid comp 1st of June, you should check-in to the that if you're still here or available. We had almost 25 active people participating the last time(link to thread) 1.5months ago
