I am walking down the sidewalk of a large strip mall, gazing in the windows of some stores. All of the stores have Lucid or Dreaming in their names. Some of the names include: Lucid Books; Kitchen Dreams; Lucid Cigars; Lucid Beer, Wine, and Dreams; $1 Dream Store.

I woke up and cussed myself for not noticing all these signs.

A few random fragments from this morning include:
(1) Walking into my office and finding a large sinkhole in the middle of the floor.
(2) Getting into a fight with my steering wheel because the horn honks randomly while I'm driving.
(3) Looking for a dream on eBay. (Why this one didn't trigger a lucid is beyond me...)

(Note: Before bed, I ate a peanut butter, strawberry, and banana sandwich with a full glass of apple juice)

I am walking through a user car lot with a female DC. She points at a couple of cars along the way, but I tell her to keep looking because the one she pointed at was not a very reliable car. I look up and see a couple of cars flying overhead. I become lucid and reinforce it with a nose pinch that fails. I look back at the DC and see that she has partially morphed into a theater popcorn machine. I reach into the machine and grab a bag of popcorn, then shake my head and continue walking.

Unfortunately, this is all that I can recall at 10:00AM. I failed to write anything in my log book or record anything on my tape recorder.

#1 Busted!
I am sitting on the top of a bunk bed with a younger DC, watching cartoons on TV. We are taking hits from a pipe and blowing the smoke out the window. Suddenly, the door opens and our parents walk in. I quickly hide the pipe and lighter under the pillow, but it's too late. We're busted!

#2 A long hallway.
I am walking toward a door at the end of a long hallway with no doors or windows on the sides. I can hear several people talking and laughing at the end of the hall. I arrive at the door, open it and walk in the room. There are several older people sitting around cracking corny jokes to each other. I am very disinterested, so I turn around and leave the room through the same door. There is no hallway this time, just another room with tables full of random junk. I walk over to one of the tables and see several rack-mount audio effects processors, some of which are partially disassembled.

I am in the basement of a house with a couple of DCs, looking at several boxes of shoes and boots. There is a pair of boots on a shelf that look large enough to fit me, so I pick them up and want to try them on. I untie the laces and loosen them up a little bit before trying to pull the boots on over my shoes. I pull and pull on them, but they will not fit over my shoes. I loosen the laces a little more and they slip right on over my shoes. A DC asks, “Didn't you take your shows off first?”, to which I reply, “Nope.” I look in one of the boxes and it is full of fuzzy toe socks of all sizes.

(Note: I picked up my notebook last night and noticed that I had recorded some fragments which I forgot all about. Considering I've had a long dry spell, I was quite happy to find out that I did record something during a WBTB.)

#1. Interrupted Foursome!
I bring four cuties back to my hotel room from the club. One of them wants to take a shower while the other three just jump right into the bed. I jump in the bed with them and before anything happens, two small annoying "yapper" dogs start jumping up and down beside the bed while trying to bite my toes and fingers.

#2. Annoying Destructive Kid.
I am at my parent's old house, hanging out in the basement with a couple of DCs. One of them is a destructive kid who is breaking everything he touches. I quickly run around and pick up all of my belongings and load them into a few boxes. I am running up and down the steps, hiding these boxes in a closet to keep them away from him. ** Gap in time ** I wake up on a couch in the basement, get up and walk upstairs. At the top of the steps, my dad is working to fix a hole in the wall. Without saying a word, he points to something behind me. I turn around to see that annoying kid sleeping on a couch.

(Note: After a long dry spell, I finally have some recall. It's only a fragment, but at this time I'll take whatever I can get.)

I am pushing an empty shopping cart across a large parking lot, walking toward a car wash in bare feet. While I approach the car wash bay, I can see some kind of small objects all over the floor. As I get closer, I realize that the whole car wash is full of turtles, ranging from babies to fully grown. I push the shopping cart into the car wash, being very careful not to run over a turtle. Once inside, the turtles stop moving, turn and start walking in my direction. A couple of the larger turtles try to climb up my legs, while a couple of others bite at my toes. I raise one foot off the ground, then lean forward on the shopping cart so I can lift the other foot. The cart flips over and I fall on the ground. When I open my eyes, everything is white and has no detail.

I am in a double wide mobile home. The walls are the typical 1970's wood paneling and the carpet is medium green. It's cold and windy outside and there is snow on the ground. There are two dogs out on the deck, each staring in one of the sliding doors. I let one of the dogs in to warm up for a bit, telling it to sit on the ottoman by the heater vent. After a brief moment, I let the other dog in also. There is a white folding table along the wall with an industrial-sized bag of Beggin' Strips and some kind of electronic test equipment sitting on it.

I find myself falling from high in the pitch black sky. There is a small white dot far below me, which becomes larger as I fall. Once close enough, the white dot is a rainbow colored swirling pool. The colors are super bright and extremely vivid. Once I got closer to the pool, my whole field of vision was completely saturated with white light. This was the dream's exit.

I am configuring an application on a computer which has a couple of check boxes. One check box says, 'Evolution: Enable/Disable', and another says, 'Big Bang Theory: Enable/Disable'. There is a warning message that states, 'Warning: These options are applied in real-time'.

DJ Log: September 12, 2010 – Morning, 9:30AM (USA Eastern)

I was flying low to the ground over an oval shaped dirt track in a grassy yard. The yard is sloped, and the track has a low side and a high side. There is a checkpoint on both the upper and lower straight sections of the track. A half dozen DCs are racing around the track in small 4-wheeled vehicles that appear to be go-karts. The vehicles made no noise other than the tires running over the dirt.

(Note: something was significantly interesting about the checkpoint in the lower part of the track, but I cannot recall the details.)

I rolled a denim office chair around in a grocery store, loading items onto it. Went through the checkout line, putting the items on the belt. An older employee of the store went through an adjacent checkout line, and when leaving the door greeter asked, jokingly, to see his receipt. I laughed with them as they both left the store. I picked up my bags and pushed the chair into the cart return before exiting the store.
