    03.03.13 - Lucid #5 - The Dream Army HQ

    by , 03-03-2013 at 12:03 PM (849 Views)
    Total sleep: 9 hours
    Daytime Techniques: RCs
Techniques to get Lucid: I’m not really sure about this. I tried to WILD, and when I entered the dream I was instantly lucid, so it didn’t feel like a DILD, but it didn’t quite feel like a WILD either
Recall Techniques: DJ as soon as I woke up
Time Fell Asleep: For this dream, about 5.40am

Dream Title: Finding the Dream Army HQ
Dream: (I didn’t have much control in parts of this, so Lucid will be in green, and controlled parts will be in bold as well.)

I walk into a room which happens to be the living room of family guy (I had a goal to be in an episode of family guy and meet everyone, but I guess this doesn’t count because I didn’t stay there long and I didn’t actually mean to go there.), and some of the characters are sat on the sofa. They give me a weird look like they know I’m not supposed to be here. The whole area around me looks really weird because it’s in cartoon, but my attention is mainly draw to the TV for some reason. I don’t even know why. At this point, some men come in (I think from the TV?) and grab me. They drag me away somewhere which I have no clue where it is.

The dream turns to a kind of 3rd person mode (It is also not cartoon anymore), but it’s similar to when you see a movie when they have dropped a camera on the ground, but it’s still filming. The camera has fallen next to some blunt wooden spikes which are part of some torture facilities. Along the bottom of the screen/my vision is a countdown of time that I had been here. The actual place that we are in seems to be like a mine or a wet cave system of some sort. Anyway, occasionally, I see myself being dragged along one of the tunnels. I am interrogated for 12 days, and then tortured for 13. As I am put back in my cell, I notice the angry guard dogs that are barking outside the door.

Sometime later, the boss appears at my door and tells me he has some private business for me to take care of. The dogs are with him, and they try to bite my hand but it just feels like they are licking me instead. I decide to like the dogs. The man points to the spikes where the camera was earlier, and tells me he is going to lift them so I can go to the kitchen. I do a mini jump as I realize I have a chance to escape. The guy looks at me weirdly, but carries on to the kitchen where he tells me that my job is to feed the dogs. He hands me some food which looks more like bird food, and 2 dishes which are about 10cm wide. For some reason, the kitchen looks like my old next door neighbour’s house (The twins). I begin to think that because this is a lucid dream, I need to remember details (like the amount of time I was there for) so I can write them in my DJ. The boss stands here for a while watching me as I formulate a plan in my head. I know now that the spikes are gone, and the dogs like me, that it will be easy to escape. He eventually leaves and I run outside.

However, as soon as I get there, it all becomes cartoon again. This really starts to annoy me, because after a while of trying, I can’t get it to go back normal. Straight ahead of me in the distance is the city that I was going to use to find that guy (Who may be my dream guide.) As I can’t seem to turn everything non-cartoon, I decide to teleport and find the Dream Army HQ. I turn around expecting there to be a forest there. Just my luck, it also happens to turn off the cartoon effect when I do. Walking forward, I see the beginning of the forest, but I large concrete building stands about 15m in. It looks quite suspicious and it is not camouflaged at all. However, I realize that it does have brilliant defenses such as thick walls and guards that are invisible. Stopping just in front of the door, I look up to see a lot of scribbled writing on the wall above it. Most of it is nonsense written backwards, and the only thing I have managed to remember that was one it was the only normal word. ‘Welcome.’ The door, which is more like a garage door (Like shutter that is really thick and a brick red colour), opens to reveal a soldier stood there. Behind him I can see what looks like a locker room. He quickly tells me the password and shuts the door. I realize that this is a memory test. The general now opens the door and asks me it.

“9, octopus, adventure.” I reply, repeating exactly what the soldier had said.

The door shuts again and then re-opens. Instead of a locker room being there like I expected, it is a full blown command center. I step in and the door closes behind me. The room is dark, with screens covering pretty much every wall that show maps, heat sensors and the like. Everyone is dressed in army camouflage gear, and most of them are walking around with papers in their hand, talking about enemy movement and things like that. I tell them that they have a pretty nice set up here, and that I really like it. The general thanks me, and I ask to speak to him in a more private area. We walk over to a table. I start whispering about how I have been sent here by the highest up command that there possibly is. He just stares at me cluelessly.

I have to explain to him how his command center is good, but he doesn't actually have anyone who goes out into the field, which is what I am there for. He nods slowly, but I can tell he still needs more of an explanation. I begin to explain who has sent me, this high up commander person, and I start to think more and more that she is like a woman off Fallout New Vegas.

The dream then fades away and I wake up.

    Time Awake: 6.20am
    Vividness: 8 or 9/15
    Awareness: 9/10
Length: (how long it felt like! Because that matters) Not including the days of torturing and stuff which was mostly a time skip, about 10 minutes.
Emotions: I felt an extreme amount of pain when being tortured, amazed at the command centre, and kind of annoying with the General that was really dumb.
Dream Signs/Tags: Cartoon, Torture, HQ, command centre.

Dang, tortured? That sucks. Glad time skipped there. It sounds like you had some good control when you had control. You have been getting pretty regular LDs as well! That is awesome! Keep up the awesome work!

Yeah it wasn't good. I can still remember the feeling of being repeatedly stabbed with blunt wooden spikes. It's not a good feeling I tell you. Thanks for the comment!

Ah, sounds fun to me, but I am a little. Strange. My only problem with pain is that it is damaging to my body. So pain that doesn't effect my body seems... Interesting.

I want another dream army project mission. I am going to liberate that town tonight hopefully. I need to make that towns time change though so it doesn't get worse. One night should pass between each LD I go there. So time barely flows when I am not there. Just thinking out loud of what I need in my book! I am so excited about LDing.
