Fantasma

I was talking to myself while planting some white flowers in a yard. Everyone who were in a relationship moved in to a new apartment together but not me. I had a boyfriend but I didn't like him that much anymore. It was awesome when we first fell in love but now... it had slowly withered. I was just waiting for the moment were one of us would say that maybe we should break up? While I was planting the flowers I heard someone passing by and looked up. It was a guy that I recognized because he was always wearing the same dark blue hoodie that covered his hair and made it nearly impossible to see his face properly. Since he always kept staring at the ground while walking by.
But as soon as I saw him, our eyes met and I felt the strong urge to talk to him. But we both got kind of stuck like that, like frozen into that moment. One time I was even sure he would turn around and actually come to talk to me but my dog scared him away. It happened a several times but in different scenarios and everytime when the guy disappeared my dog kind of disappeared with him and suddenly out of nowhere would my boyfriend just stand there just right at the same place as my dog had been.

Later on I went to an restaurant with my friends and my boyfriend, everyone seemed to have a great time but not me. My mind was occupied.
I tried to talk with my female friend about this hoodie-guy that I just wanted to have a conversatione with but she refused to listen to me. As soon as I mention something about him she would stop paying any attention. I didn't dare talk about him when my boyfriend was around either. He tried to make me feel better and ordered something really odd from the menu which I didn't want. So we argued about that. I think everyone could tell that we both were kind of sick and tired of our relationship. Just half hearted attempts to flirt and compliment each other.
