    My lucid comeback!

    Effortful VS Effortless [18/08/14]

I know I haven't been updating this DJ every day and I actually think of taking a week of DJing and just having a clear head without a lucid intention.

As Stephen Laberge wrote in his book:

"The first several times I tried to have lucid dreams in the laboratory, I was using autosuggestion and I found that trying too hard (effortful intention) was counterproductive."

So I've decided that I won't be doing any DJing or effort to induce lucid dream from [25/08/14] to [01/09/14]. I won't be noting down any dreams but I will tag down any Lucid dreams which I will probably put in a special entry or something when the week is over.
When that week ends it will also be the beginning of the new (and last) school year, I expect to have small problems getting used to getting up early but this will probably also result in a steadier sleeping shedule so it might be good in the long run.

    1. Mildly disturbing

I'm playing a game that looks a bit like the sims but it's different in some way, I actually have brief moments where I realize I'm playing a game and that I'm sitting at a computer. It's a weird game as my character goes to a remote house by a lake and lives there. Then there's a creepy man/zombie that stalks him in the Woods.

    2. Could you turn that around?

I quickly run down the stairs of my house because I'm late for my Biology exam, I haven't learned for it cause I was so confident of myself. Instead I'd been playing the game from previous dream all the time, the dreams are seperate though cause I think it's just my brain linking the two in order to make a cohesive plot. I quickly skim over the pages and see that I know most of it but not exactly so I'm quiet worried, when I arrive at school and enter a classroom which looks like the waiting room of a dentist I sit next to a good friend of my. We sit around a table with on it a small object, it's a small stick with small tubes on it that have different shapes and sizes. I also spot a small card hanging of it with weird names that I presume are the names of the different geometrical shapes of the tubes. The exam is to put the correct name by the correct tube-shape, I look at my friend sitting next to me and we both have difficulties not laughing cause without even asking we both know of each other we haven't learned for this exam. From the place we're seated we can't see the card that contains the names of the tubes, I thought if we're Lucky we could just guess the answers. (Which I actually managed to do once IRL... xD) So I ask the teacher to turn the object around, I didn't however mention the reason for it was to see the names on the card cause I thought this would be seen as cheating.

    3. On the front

I'm walking through a beautiful medieval city center somewhere in the Ukraine, I'm a journalist making a documentary about the war or something. Anyway this city actually makes me think of Prague because I've seen that once before on TV IRL. I'm probably 28 years old or something and I'm walking towards a large stage made by rebels on a square infront of the city hall. The people on the stage are asking for people to donate empty cans, I happen to have just drank a soda can so I hand it over to one of the rebels. I'm slightly worried considering they are shouting very loud in Russian I think. The reason why they're doing this is because there has been an outbreak of Ebola recently and I'm also worried for that so I quickly walk back. It starts raining and I try taking out a jacket out of my backpack, I notice every quickly goes inside the buildings so I stop fiddling around in my backpack and instead walk into a coffee bar. In the entrance of the bar I suddenly have a bloody nose, although annoying I'm used to it and don't panick. (I have these very often IRL, probably twice a week in the summer.) The bar itself has an art deco interior and the atmosphere is very pleasant, waitress walks up to me and asks me what I want in Russian but I understand her for some reason.
