Cave level
I'm playing a 3rd person game of some kind. I'm in a mine level, in the main shaft. Large caves open to the sides. Everything is brown and gray, and the level geometry is very bumpy. I'm at the bottom of the level, and I know the whole level slopes up. As I'm exploring a large side room, a green liquid starts to come in from the lower end. The first time it touches my character, there's a kind of sizzle. The next time, he dies. Now I've restarted in the main shaft. This time I know what's coming, so I don't wait but start running up the tunnel. Eventually the acid catches me, but I make it a lot further. I do it a few more times and get further each time. Somehow I know that this is a bonus level and that my character's level determines how long it is until the acid starts to arrive - the higher my level, the greater the delay.

Now people are LARPing the game. Someone tries an attack class, then someone else tries another class. Each class has a differently colored robe. Now Adam and Jamie are trying it together. Jamie is dressed in a brown robe, while Adam is standing off to the side. For some reason, they're doing it such that Adam is telling Jamie exactly what to do, including where to go, when to jump, etc. Unsurprisingly, things go hilariously badly.

Now it's my turn. I choose the Hammer class, though I'm dressed in my normal street clothes. I pick up a pepper grinder with a large handle, walk over to Jamie, and pantomime whacking him on the head with my pepper grinder hammer. I tell people that, because I used a hammer (improvised or not) I get a hit bonus. The bonus is 50%, so my attack goes from 100HP up to 150HP. I'm disappointed - that's not powerful enough to kill even the weakest creature in a single hit. I'd hoped that I'd be able to deal with the first few low-level creatures easily before reaching enemies that took more than one hit. I ask someone where Ben and Mandy are, since I thought they'd be here, but he says they went to bed at 10.
