Vitamin B not such a good idea...

I read on here that Vitamin B6 can make your dreams more intense. I thought it couldn't do any harm to try it, maybe it would even help me get lucid in some small way.

So far it's been a bad idea for me. I sometimes have these bad night terrors, usually combined with sleep walking (or sleep running and screaming as is the case for me), and since I haven't had any recently, it never occurred to me that Vitamin B would have any effect on them. Ya... WRONG!

Two nights now after taking it I have had intense and horrible terrors. They always end with me shooting out of bed to run down the hall in a panicked scream. So I don't think I'll be taking it again

Heh...just reading this post helped me with a little bit of recall. I took some last night, and it seems like I remember more dreams, but they're all so fragmented, and some end up being pretty intense. I normally take about 200mg, I think I'm going to try lowering the dose.

Do you have a history with night terrors? Maybe it amplifies it or something.

I was on 100mg and I thought that was high... whoa can't imagine what 200 would do to me! Well, side bonus of helping you recall though *high five*

I do have a history of night terrors, yes. Well... I think that's what they are? I find it hard to describe to people, because it's just so hard to get it across. In my episodes, I am not asleep, I am seeing everything in the physical, real time, eyes open. But it starts in a dream. For example, one time I saw a massive alien spider (the size of a Great Dane) on the roof above me, and of course had a complete panicked meltdown. Another time my ex had to try to stop me from jumping out the bedroom window. I was convinced it was the only door out of a dangerous building, and something was chasing me.

Anyway. I'm thinking the B6 was a bad idea, but whhhhyy do I want to try it again tonight?

I probably should have tried B6 as opposed to DXM. That sucked, Don't do drugs kids! lol

      Drugs are baaad mmkay?

Good luck with the B6, Shadow! I still take it. It usually gives me vivid dreams that wake me up with a pounding heart. I don't remember much of the dreams, but I keep taking it anyway. I figure vivid and slightly terrifying (i.e. stimulating) is better than non-vivid and completely useless.
