I was in my school, walking through the back door with one of my friends. I've described the building a lot in previous dreams, but to make a long description short, it's basically a huge long atrium with light walls, and a glass triangular roof which lets in a lot of sunshine during the day. The floor is eggshell blue tile, and there are some light-colored tan brick pillars. At the back of the school there was a double door with huge glass panels so you could see through it. Once you got inside these, there was a mat and then another set of doors side by side.
We walked through each of these without pressing a special button - there is security on the campus and you have to push a button for them to open the door for you, but this wasn't the case in the dream.
As for my friend, she's the kind of goofy person who's always seen with food, whether it be mooched off of someone else or bought herself. I happened to be carrying a monetary bill of some sort, which I felt in my hand but never actually saw. It felt thicker than most bills. She stopped and said, "Puffin, can you get me a croissant?"
"Sure."
We started to walk down the atrium, past the classrooms with the closed eggshell blue doors, and then I suddenly had a croissant in my hand, surrounded by a folded napkin. It was a seamless change.
"Here." I gave it to her.
She replied, "nah, I already have one." There was nothing in her hand, though, nor anything to suggest she had bought one.
