    And another cat!!

    1) On a long drive. The car seems to keep pointing upwards as if it is flying. I kept telling myself that this isn't a dream and settle the car back down on the road.

    2) In a cafe of some sort. I walk out, then back in and I look at a table of people pretending to be looking for someone. I'm riding a motorbike and park it in a car park. It's time to leave and I try to find my way out of the car park, it's not easy. Back out on the road I realise that I'm not wearing a crash helmet and probably have travelled miles without it. I pull in at the side of the road to look for the crash helmet in my paniers - as I pull over I see my front tyre is getting a bit bald.
    There's an old black cat on the side of the road in front of me, and then there is also a man stood there - he is really friendly and offers me some sweets which I decline, and he tells me that the cat's paw is getting better now and asks me if I want to take a look. I bend down, the cat is now in a box, and I realise that I do actually have a crash helmet on.

      You are going to get lucid tonight. Remember cat as your dreamsign. It is probable that your dreamguide is manifesting as a cat in order to tell you that you are dreaming.

      Also remember that instead of thinking you are not in a dream think that you are in a dream. With the lack of helmet and the flying car you are aware that you are dreaming but you just can't admit it. Today we will both remind ourselves that we are dreaming lots of times. What fun!

      One of the times I got lucid from a DILD I thought this can't be a dream but then I tried it anyhow just to see. What harm in trying? Then I started floating upwards and there was no question anymore.

      It also sounds yesterday that you had lots of small lucid dreams while you were napping so really your lucid dream counter should read way more than three it is just that both you and me only include long dreams in the count.

      How much conviction do you have that we are dreaming during the day?

      Thanks DannyCool - great comments. Dream sign at the moment is definitely seeing a cat! Nice to think it could be my dreamguide. Great to treat this as being fun as well!

      The other thing I have noticed recently is that aprt from seeing cats everyone is so friendly in my dreams... can't be a bad sign, not sure what it means though.

      I agree. You are close to a lucid.... Maybe the cat is literal or a spirit guide.... Do you have a friend or relative that has passed away that had a connection to cats? I'm guessing it's something important to have so many dreams w/ cats.... Oh, and when you get lucid ask out loud why you are seeing all these cats. Easier said than done. I can never ever ask a question in my dreams. It's very frustrating.
