    1. Several Mini Lucids - Feb 13, 2015

      by , 03-17-2015 at 02:54 AM
This was a very fun, lucid night, full of dream signs, but I kept on waking way to soon due to the excitement of it all.

I was sitting at a dining room beside my mother in-law (who passed in Y2001), and she was holding a baby. Instantly, I became lucid, and asked, “Mom, is that you?” She nodded and held up the baby, so I gave both the baby, and my mother in-law, a kiss on the cheek. I asked whose baby this is, and she replied, “It’s Cathy and William’s!” (I’m not sure if I remembered William’s name correctly). Dear mom smiled at me, and then the dream started to fade, so I swirled to no avail.

In this next lucid dream, I was sitting on a concrete deck at the back of someone’s home, with a bunch of friends, and a jet flew by with the left engine on fire. This was certainly very odd, so I questioned myself if I was dreaming or not? I tried to fly, and I could! Lucid again! Yay! The jet plane was coming down for a crash landing behind some tall buildings, way off in the distance, and I wanted to see what happened next. My instinct was to quickly fly straight up so I could see over the tall buildings, but I entered the clouds and I lost site of the jet. Suddenly, 3 or 4 dream figures flew up beside me (not sure who). I still wanted to see the jet plane crash, so I flew straight down at high speed to exit the clouds, but I went way too fast and crashed head first into the ground beside an apartment block! Then I slowly rose to my knees, but my vision was gone from my right eye (I probably flattened my head). A tall dream figure landed beside me and helped me stand up. He looked totally shocked when he looked me in the eye. My vision faded and then I woke.

In this 3rd lucid dream I was sitting at the dinner table with my son and daughter. When I saw my daughter I instantly became lucid (she passed in 2013). I said, “Daughter, it’s great to be with you!”, and then I turned to my son, and said, “You too!” I got so excited about seeing my daughter that I woke.

I entered this 4th dream perfectly lucid, and I was kayaking down a river with my dream guide. The river was about 100 yards wide, small waves, a thick green, forest to the right, and a grassy park area to the left. I simply appeared there out of nowhere. My dream guide looked at me and said, “Isn’t it amazing how real dreams are?” I looked at him and happily replied, “Exactly!” It certainly was very real looking, and I was really taken back by the moment and then I woke.
    2. Exploring an Abandoned House - Mar 1, 2015

      by , 03-13-2015 at 12:30 PM
In this dream I realized I was dreaming by a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD), but I decided to continue on with the dream pretending that I wasn’t lucid to see if the dream would last longer without stabilizing (was somewhat successful).

It was mid-afternoon, and I was driving down a backwoods area along a dike. There was a huge lake on one side, and an abandoned, hydro dam community (circa 1960’s) on the other, which was heavily grown in with foliage. My wife was sitting beside me, and we were discussing reasons why such beautiful homes could have been abandoned. One house even appeared to even have all the furniture left inside, and it looked pretty much untouched, except for part of the roof had collapsed, so we decided to park the truck and take a closer look.

I walked over the abandoned home and opened the front door. There were cobwebs everywhere (dream sign), so I turned around and asked my wife to pass me a stick so I could knock them down. Standing behind my wife was our beautiful daughter (another dream sign), and I instantly became lucid. I said to them, “I know this is a dream, and I could become lucid, but I don’t want to wake up. I want to explore this cool house!” Both my wife and daughter smiled and agreed with the plan. Neither had passed me a stick, so I made a fire poker appear in my left hand and we continued into the house. Not surprisingly the cobwebs were now gone, so I dropped the fire poker on the floor.

There were old couches, lamps, end tables, and random belongings, and the house really looked like the inhabitants just walked away without packing anything. The floor in the kitchen had collapsed into the basement, and we carefully slid down the angled floor so we could see if anything was down there. Nope, the basement was empty. I started to have thoughts about the house collapsing on us, so I said, “Okay, let’s leave now, because this doesn’t look safe.” I was thinking in my mind to be careful with my thoughts, because this can affected how the dream plays out. I was actually still lucid, but I was trying to get back into regular dream mode, which I couldn’t seem to do.

As we approached the front door, one of my dream guides walked in, and asked if we can still be friends? We had a nasty fight earlier that night in a non-lucid dream, and it really didn’t end well at all. It was my fault, because I’m still struggling with the occasional violence in non-lucid dreams. I looked apologetically at him and replied, “Of course we can.” Just then, a bunch of cars and trucks pulled up the house, and a pile of scruffy looking dream characters jumped out. My daughter immediately spun around, and flew at towards the back corner of the house, and she passed seamlessly right through the wall! She was getting the heck out of here! My wife and dream guide then walked out the front door to greet them, and I followed close behind. Once outside, my wife asked where our daughter was, and I told her she flew off somewhere. Then the lucid dream quickly faded and I woke.

    3. Teeing Up Made Me Lucid - Feb 28, 2015

      by , 03-01-2015 at 10:06 PM
I’m no golfer (more a gopher), but I did manage to recognize that my game was a bit off, and beyond ridiculous, so I became lucid in this Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). Here’s what happened.

An old friend and I were at a golf course in Calgary on this cloudy, fall day. I watch him tee off and make a perfect swing (Smack!), sending the ball sailing down the field. My turn! I walked up the teeing ground, stuck my tee halfway into the earth, and placed the golf ball on top. As I rose to stand, and very unexpectedly, the entire teeing ground became covered in about 3 inches of ice cubes, and my friend said, “Ah, that’s better! Now it’s nicely iced.” It was indeed nicely iced and I slipped and fell onto my side, and then I scrambled to get back up onto my feet because it was freezing cold! My golf ball was buried in ice cubes, so I leaned over to sweep the ice cubes away from my ball, but I accidently knocked the golf ball off the tee.

I dug around in the ice and found my golf ball, but now my tee was gone. I asked my friend to help me find it, and he reached down into the ice cubes and pulled out a wood screw. He said, “Here it is!”, and he threw it at my face, and it bounced off my forehead and went back into the ice cubes. That wasn’t a very nice thing to do, I thought. I dug around and soon found my gulf tee. I placed it back in the earth and placed my ball on top. I stood back up to take my swing, but then my gulf ball turned into a lawn bowling ball! I thought ‘what on Earth’ is going on around here? I kicked the bowling ball of the golf tee and placed another golf ball on top of it. I gazed down at the green, and I saw that it was behind some rolling hills, and we were surrounded by suburbia. As I swung my driver backwards, in preparation for my swing, it hit a square cement post that had magically appeared on the teeing ground. Okay, I get it! This has got to be dream! There’s no way waking life could possibly be this messed up. I’m Lucid.

My friend was hiding behind the cement post, so I peeked around the corner, and looked him right in the eyes. Now his eyes were glowing silvery blue. Not his regular eye color, and since when do people’s eyes glow? I stayed calm, and decided to hide my lucidity and investigate this dream figure, so I asked him, “How’s Erin doing (his wife)?” He then looked at the ground and started to kick the some ice cubes around with the point of his foot, and he didn’t answer me. Then I asked him how his son is doing. Still, no response. Well, I thought, this is obviously not my friend, but whatever, I’m good with it. All the ice cubes disappeared. My lucidity started to fade, so I said, “Please wait here, because I have to swirl.” I began to swirl to bring back my clarity, and dang it, he vanished. I began to think about flying as I was swirling, and not surprisingly I slowly started to rise upwards. Now I could hear the wind howling in my ears and blowing against my skin, and all was dark. I was swirling and flying at the same time. I tried to think of place that I wanted to go, once I was done swirling, so I started to call for my daughter to come, but I ended up waking instead.

    4. House Fishing and Hugging a Seagull - Feb 27, 2015

      by , 02-28-2015 at 06:26 PM
Here are a couple of lucid dreams I had last night. They weren’t of very high vividness and clarity (more like waking world), but they were nonetheless fun and interesting.

This is a dream induce lucid dream (DILD). One of my dream signs is fishing, so when I was standing on a dock fishing, I realized I was dreaming! As soon as I became lucid, I appeared in my mom’s kitchen, still holding my fishing rod. I was really enjoying fishing, so I wanted to do some more. My mom was standing at the kitchen sink, then she turned and smiled at me, and then I went off looking for a place to fish. I walked into the living room, and imagined there should be water under the area rug, so I rolled back 5 feet of the rug, and there was water! I quickly dropped my bait line into the water hole, lowered the fishing line down until I felt the bottom, which was at about 12 or so feet, and I started to jig off the bottom. Hey, wouldn’t that be awesome to have a fishing hole in your living room! Suddenly I felt a couple of nibbles on the line, and then I pulled the rod upwards to snag it. This fish dragged the line sideways under the floor. I reeled it in, but it was only a 12 inch pike, so I released it. After I released it, the fishing hole closed up, and there was only hardwood flooring. Hmm, where should I try next?

I was determined to do more lucid dream fishing, so I walked over the hallway and cast my bait all the way down to the end, while I imagined the hallway turning into a river. The bait landed on the floor, but still no river. I slowly reeled it in while I focussed on there being a river. Just then, my wife walks up behind me and asks what I’m doing? I told her, “Not now honey, can’t you see, I’m trying to catch some fish here!” Unfortunately, I think I lost lucidity at the point, and I don’t remember what happened next.

In this second lucid dream, it was awesome, and I voice recorded it after it happened, but then later in the night I accidently deleted it, and now I can only remember part of it, dang it anyway! Here’s what I remember. I was flying down a ski hill in the vertical position, about 5 to 10 feet above the slope, beside a friend, who was also flying. My friend was about 5 feet to the left and we were traveling about 15 mph, at night, enjoying the beauty of the scenery and starlit sky. Then a seagull came flying right over my head from the rear, only missing me by inches, then it turned around and mad another close pass. I raised my arm for it to land, but instead, it landed on my head! Typical bird!

We travelled like this for about a hundred yards, but its claws were digging into my head, and it was a bit annoying, so I raised my forearm up to it, so it would climb on, and it did! A short while later, I started to hug the seagull, and I could feel love radiating from this bird! I was getting all these memory flashes (can’t remember of what). My friend flew in a bit closer and raised his forearm for the seagull, so I carefully passed him the bird. The seagull climbed onto to his forearm, and it started to grow bigger and it began to morph into a person, but then it returned to bird state. When we got to the bottom of the ski slope, the bird flew away, and we decided to land and go inside the ski chalet. I don’t remember what happened after that, but I have memory fragments of my daughter being there, and it was a happy time!
    5. A Deer Turned Into a Beautiful Woman - Feb 24, 2015

      by , 02-27-2015 at 01:19 AM
Here’s a couple of Dream Induced Lucid Dreams (DILDS):

I was standing in a room, which I didn’t recognize, beside my father in-law’s cousin, who’s currently very sick in the hospital with cancer (in waking life). Seeing him standing there made me instantly lucid. A few seconds later my vision started to fade, and I tried spinning, but I woke up.

In this second dream, I was laying in the box of my pick-up truck, at night, staring up at a light standard. Then a doe, a deer (a female deer) peaked it’s head up over the edge of the right hand, rear fender and stared at me. I tried to ignore it, but it just kept staring. I found this a bit irritating, so I looked at the dang thing and said, “Why don’t you get lost, and go bother somebody else!” Instantly, the deer turned into a beautiful, long haired, blonde woman, who I didn’t recognize! She had this look of sadness and insult on her face from what I said, and she immediately turned around and walked away. Seeing a deer transform into a beautiful woman made me think that maybe this is a dream. Hmmm, then boom, I was lucid!

I quickly stood up in the truck box and saw the woman walking around the park car beside me. I then realized I was at my home town’s shopping mall. I remembered my dream intent to meet with my daughter, so I said, “Hey, please find my Daughter, and I tell her I’m looking for her!” Well, quite unexpectedly, the woman spun around with excitement and happiness all over her face, and she came running right up to the side of the truck box and reached both her arms up towards me! So I kneeled down, leaned forward, and hugged her, and then she gave me a big kiss on the lips, but then woke from all the excitement. Wonder who she was?
    6. Boss ‘Pissing Me Off’ Made Me Lucid - Feb 21, 2015

      by , 02-23-2015 at 04:25 AM
Last night at stayed at my folk’s house and I wasn’t able to do the Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) routine and incubate my intended lucid dream (LD), but I was lucky enough to have one interesting LD. Here’s what happened:

In this dream I was discussing a project with my boss, and then ‘out of the blue’ he says, “You’re always sweaty.” I stopped what I was doing and looked at him and went, “Huh?”, and he repeated, “You’re always sweaty.”, so I retorted, “No, I’m not! What do you mean?” He points at my nose and says your nose is always sweaty, and bloody.” This was starting to piss me off, because I don’t have a bloody, sweaty nose. Then I realized I was standing in my underwear, my pants were gone! I stormed off to the back of my truck, sat on the tailgate, and opened my suitcase to pull out some pants, but then all my clothes went flying across the ground. Then about 15 Mexicans came walking past me and they stomped all over my clothes! Now I was really pissed off, so I chased after them while swinging my pants in the air, saying lewd comments. Then I said, “Yeah, you’re lucky I’m dreaming!” Utopia, I’m lucid! I quickly apologized for my bad dream behavior. They accepted my apologies and continued on their way.

Things started to fade, so I began to swirl (spin) to bring back visual clarity. After about 10 seconds, my vision was perfectly clear, so I walked to the front of the truck and started chatting with my boss and a co-worker. We walked into a small, empty building where we could talk in private. My first question was, “Are we having a shared dream?” They didn’t answer me, so I said, “I’m lucid dreaming right now. I often lucid dream, but I don’t let people know that I’m lucid, but I’ve decided to tell you. Who are you?” They both looked at each other, and they became very uncomfortable with the conversation. A bright light started to glow from behind me, and they both backed away, while staring at this light with a total look of fear. The light being emitted resembled that from a welder. My boss and co-worker then ran out the backdoor, and I followed chase. I wasn’t scared of this light, but I just wanted to know the answers to my questions. My co-worker transformed into a woman as he ran, and my boss disappeared into thin air. I followed my ‘now female’ co-worker in a crowed community center, and I lost him (or her).

There was a 1 foot tall, blonde woman singing a beautiful song beside a live band. There had to have been at least 100 people watching, and they were all nicely dressed in suits and dresses (I wasn’t, I only had my shirt and gitch on). A woman, who I didn’t recognize, walked up beside me, said my name, and asked me to have a seat and enjoy the show. I sat beside an elderly woman who said, “That’s my Uncle singing!” I thought to myself, “That’s a woman singing. Kookoo! Kookoo!”, so I replied, “He sure is a nice singer!” Wink, wink. After the woman was done singing, she walked past me to the left, and I complimented her by saying, “Great singing!”, but she looked away, because she was probably thinking who’s that weirdo sitting there in his gitch! Lucidity faded quickly and I woke up.

    7. A Big Hug, a Smile, and a Dream Figure Acknowledging Lucidity - Feb 20, 2015

      by , 02-21-2015 at 08:10 PM
Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) for about 1 hour (studied lucid dream techniques). I incubated a dream by using pictures while repeating a mantra for 10 minutes. Lights out followed by about 45 minutes of deep meditation with hypnagogic imagery and voices, then I fell consciously asleep (failed WILD). About 15 minutes later I woke up after having this dream induced lucid dream (DILD) and OBE attempt:

In this dream I was sitting in a darkly lit room with a friend watching TV. I thought to myself, I’m supposed to be attempting a WILD right now, not watching TV! I looked around the room to find a place to go back sleep, but there wasn’t any place suitable, and I was concerned the TV would interfere with my sleep, so I decided to go upstairs. Half way up the stairs my vision went black, and then I realized I was in fact already dreaming! I sat down on the top step holding onto the bannister, thinking, how can I get my vision back, so I could continue on with this lucid dream (LD). Suddenly I was back in bed, consciously awake, but my body was sleep.

Then somebody hugged me! It was a long lasting firm hug, and I felt safe. Then I got ‘the vibrations’, and I thought, “Great, time to OBE exit!” I opened my ‘dream eyes’ and I saw a glowing, yellow/orange hoop floating in front of me (a porthole), and sitting on my bed, to my right, was my daughter! She had beautiful, long, full body hair, the biggest smile, and she was saying something, but I couldn’t hear what she was saying, because there was a lot of electrostatic buzzing and crackling sounds. She was now pulling on my shoulders for me to get up! I normally leap to my feet when I feel the ‘the vibrations’, so that’s what I tried to do, but instead my physical body moved, and it was over. I was now physically awake. Darn it! Thinking back on the situation, given the circumstances, I should have tried to sit-up in bed instead of leaping to my feet.

After several more dreams, I ended up having another DILD. In this dream I was at work, and there were several incongruities that tipped me off that I was dreaming. First; buildings that don’t exist; second, ceilings way taller than waking world; and finally, an employee lounge. Yes, an employee lounge could only truly exist in a dream! Not only that, a waiter walked up to me and offered me pancakes! I walked out of the lounge onto a wooden deck. There were several people sitting around enjoying the gorgeous, sunny, summer afternoon. There was a man standing beside the deck and I walked up to him, because I recognized him from somewhere (not sure where). I sincerely said, “Howdy mister!”, and he looked at me with a huge smile and replied, “Ahh, I see! Doesn’t it feel really uplifting when you become lucid!”, as he reached down with both hands and cupped his stomach, and then he raised one arm up above his head, while making a flowing action with his hand. I looked at him, and said, “Yes, that’s it! It’s like a huge adrenaline rush, and it’s all brilliant!”

Right after I said how brilliant lucid dreams are, my vision started to fade, so in an attempt to maintain lucidity, I leapt from the porch to fly, but I crash landed on my chest. By this point everything was blurry and distorted, and then I tried to shoot up into space, but I just fell backwards onto the ground. By this point all was black, and I was lying perfectly motionless, focussing my intent to get back into the dream. Then, very unexpectedly, somebody grabbed onto my right ankle and started to rotate me slowly counter clockwise. By this point I was consciously awake, with my body asleep, and I was back in bed, but still rotating. Somebody was still pulling on my ankle! It felt like I made one or two more rotations in bed, and then they let go. I felt myself slowly align with my physical body. I woke up and continued to lie perfectly still while recalling all of the dream experiences. Once I was satisfied that I had remembered all the dreams I could, then I did my voice recording. I went back to sleep and had many more wonderful dreams. It was wonderful, amazing night full of dreams.
    8. Crazy Blonde Woman, Space, Fairies, and Sarcoma - Feb 15, 2015

      by , 02-20-2015 at 05:08 AM
This was a dream filled night.

In this dream I was visiting some old family friends in Washington State. The father and son were arguing, and the boy started to cry. Shortly thereafter the father stormed out of the house, so I scooped up my poodle and ran outside to talk to the father about what just happened. He jumped in car and ‘rolled down’ his window, then slightly glanced my way. My poodle was in my left arm, and I put my right hand on the driver’s door window sill to start up a conversation. Being very upset, he wasn’t up for talking, so he ‘floored’ his car out of the driveway. One problem, I was still holding onto the window sill! I didn’t want to let go or else I would go tumbling down the road and possibly hurt my dear little poodle. Then I realized this can’t possibly be happening! Boom, a dream induced lucid dream (DILD).

Immediately, I let go of the driver’s door, and I flew up into the air carefully holding my poodle. I flew up alongside another car that driving in the same direction as my friend’s. Then I reached for the passenger door handle, opened it while flying (new LD experience), and I jumped in. A blonde hair woman was driving, and she was nothing short of nuts! As soon as I sat down, she immediately gave me this insane look, and then she started to drive erratically and totally out of control! I looked at my poodle, to make sure she was okay, but now the woman’s head was on my dog! My dog started to laugh and smile at me, while saying, “Yeah, yeah, yeah!” Thinking about this now, I have no idea why I started to panic, but I did. I decided to abandon this lucid dream, and I tried to wake myself up, but I couldn’t. Great, I usually struggle to stay lucid and not wake, but now when I want to wake, I can’t. Now I couldn’t move! Then I woke, and I was lying in bed thinking, “Man, I sure didn’t handle that very well.”

I remained perfectly still, and let my body fall asleep, while I was consciously awake. After visualization and hypnagogic imagery, I found myself entering a dream, lucid. I this lucid dream I was standing in a warehouse with a couple of childhood friends. I said, I think we might be in a shared lucid dream. One of my friends replied, “No we’re not.” I said, “Yes we are, and I can prove it! Follow me.” I then took them to a large mirror that was hanging on the wall, and said, “Take a look at yourself! You’re young again!” Both of my friends stood there looking in the mirror, amazed by what they saw, and one replied, “I think you’re right, we are dreaming!” Suddenly a bunch more of my friends appeared and we all stood around looking in the mirror. Strangely I was my current age, but everyone else was young.

A co-worker then walked up the mirror and looked in it. I asked him, “How old do you look?” He said, “hmm, maybe 17 or 18?”, and then he looked at me and said, “Who are you?” I introduced myself, but he still didn’t know who I was, so I said, “You probably don’t know me because we don’t meet for another 20 years or so.” Then I woke, but I remained perfectly still to try and get back into the lucid dream, because I was really enjoying it! What happened next was really cool.

I was back in the warehouse again, and perfectly lucid, but all my friends were gone. I tried to remember what my dream intent was (to visit with my daughter and heal somebody), but I couldn’t remember either. So I walked out of the warehouse and stood in the ‘back forty’ admiring the extreme vividness of the night’s sky. The stars were immensely beautiful and dramatic, way more intense than the waking world’s. I decide to fly into space to simply enjoy its beauty, so I raised my right hand, and lifted off, but I was only moving slowly. At this speed I’ll never reach space. When this happens, I simply close my eyes, and accelerate up into space with great speed. After the wind stopped howling, and when I could no longer feel the wind blowing against my skin, I knew I was in space, so I open my eyes. The earth was below me, the sun was off to my right, and I tell you, it was blinding and very irritating. The sun is usually hidden behind a black disc when I’m in space, but this time, for some reason, it wasn’t. I then accelerated through space to get away from the sun to a place where it was nice and dark, so I could simply admire the brilliance of space.

The stars where flying past me, like warp 9.5 (Star Trek), and then I came to a standstill, to simply admire the backdrop of deep space. Then the most bizarre thing happened; 5 or 6 fairies flew past me, leaving a trail of white smoke and sparkles. I figured this is my queue to follow, so I did. These fairies were all different colors of the rainbow. I know, this sounds like a 60’s acid trip or something, but this is what I saw! Believe me, I’m not into fairies, but whatever, I’ll go with it. The fairies arced sharply to the right and flew into a huge spacecraft full of square openings resembling a giant honeycomb. The opening was about 8 feet square and I carefully flew over the fairies, so as not to hurt them, and landed about 15 feet down the opening. The walls of ‘opening’ were covered in white butterflies. Honestly, I was thinking, this is one insane lucid dream. I’m more into realism, and this was anything but that.

“Okay fairies, let’s all sit in a circle over here and introduce ourselves!” I watched with amazement as these colorful little (10 inch tall) fairies walked up to me, while the white butterflies fluttered on the walls and ceiling. They all gathered around, and then they all turned into young children about 3 or 4 years of age! Boy and girls. They all introduced themselves, one at time (I can’t remember all their names), but the first girl was named Arcadia. Btw, the spacecraft was now moving through space at a very extreme speed, because I could see stars whipping past the opening. After they introduced themselves, I looked at the first girl and said, “Let’s see if I got this straight,” as a pointed her, “You’re Arcadian.” Then I heard my dear daughter laugh and say, “Dad, her name’s Arcadia, not Arcadian!” I then looked at the kids closely to see which one was my daughter, but before I could figure out which one was her, we landed back on Earth, at some sort of daycare center. A pretty woman helped all of the kids down from the spacecraft, and then I stepped past her as I grinned with excitement.

The woman smiled at me and asked, “Did you have fun?” I excitedly said, “Yes, it was great! We were in space with fairies!”, and I turned to point at the spacecraft, but it was now a play structure. What the heck! She laughed at me and said, “You have a great imagination!” I didn’t even try to argue with her, because what just happened was beyond belief. The kids scattered in all directions, and the daycare was now full of adults. Everything was extremely vivid and clear. An African guy, with gray clay on his face, walked past me, and I put my hand on his shoulder, smiled at him with amazement, and I said, “Hi!” He looked at me and said, “What?” Then one of my dream guides came up to me and said, “Quit touching people, and wipe that smile off your face, you need to blend in.” He looked really angry and pissed off at me (He’s not very sociable). I was just happy to be there, and I felt gratitude for what I was experiencing.

There was a young man standing against the wall. He was well over six feet tall, had brown short hair, and was very muscular. His wrists were chained together, and the skin around his eyes was dark, and his face was very pale. He really looked sickly. My first thought was to shear off the chains his wrists using my fingers, but then I thought maybe he’s under arrest or something. I asked him, “What are you in for?” He barely opened his eyes as he slurred, “Narcotics and sarcoma.” I thought, “Oh, he’s arrested for doing drugs, but what’s sarcoma? What does that mean? It sounds a bit like carcinoma.” I felt like I should do something for him, but I couldn’t figure it out (my dream intent to heal somebody), so I asked him, “What did you say?” and he replied once again, “Narcotics and sarcoma.” I started to feel upset because I knew I had to do something, but I didn’t know what, and then I woke up from this amazing string of lucid dreams.

I did a Wiki on sarcoma and this is what it said: “A sarcoma (from the Greek σάρξ sarx meaning "flesh") is a cancer that arises from transformed cells of mesenchymal origin. Thus, malignant tumors made of cancellous bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, vascular, or hematopoietic tissues are, by definition, considered sarcomas. This is in contrast to a malignant tumor originating from epithelial cells, which are termed carcinoma. Human sarcomas are quite rare. Common malignancies, such as breast, colon, and lung cancer, are almost always carcinoma.”

    9. Barbie Doll Woman, False Daughter Visit, and Karaoke Fail - Feb 14, 2015

      by , 02-17-2015 at 01:00 AM
I did the Wake Induced Lucid Dream technique using visualization followed by hypnagogic imagery until I slipped into a lucid dream without losing consciousness. I was sitting at my weight bench in the basement, and then this girl walked up beside me in a grey hoodie, with the hoodie over her head, but I could see her face, and she was very pretty. She sat on a bench in front of me and faced me with a smile. I thought, “Hmmm, who’s this cutie?” I felt the dream start to fade so I leapt to my feet and started to swirl, but the dream ended and I was back in the void with my body asleep, but my mind was aware. I focussed on trying to get back into that dream, but I lost consciousness and fell asleep.

The next dream was a bit odd, because I became lucid for no reason at all. I was walking towards an old fashion wooden staircase, and then suddenly I was lucid. I thought where the heck am I? The stair case went half way up to an intermediate landing, and then the stairs went in the opposite direction, off this landing, to the 2nd storey. I continued up the second set of stairs to the 2nd storey, but just before I reached the 2nd storey, I saw a woman walking towards the staircase on the 1st storey, so I peeked my head over the staircase handrail, right near the 1st storey’s ceiling, and I saw this amazing looking woman. She didn’t see me because my body was hidden by the staircase, and my head was right up near the ceiling.

This woman looked like a Barbie doll. She was tall and thin, had long blonde hair in a ponytail, and was wearing a knee length, light green skirt and matching jacket. Now what was odd about this woman was her perfect complexion, and her face had no wrinkles whatsoever. It was so perfectly smooth it didn’t seem to be real (like a Barbie doll). Also, her entire eyes were jet black with no whites. She was really quite the stunning site to see. Just before the steps she bent over and picked up a small golden colored object, about the size of beetle. She rose back up to almost standing and then she tilted her head slightly as if she could hear something (she still didn’t know I was there). Then I said, “Hey, hello!” She jumped back about 2 feet, and I totally startled her. I mean she looked like she just saw the devil himself. Again, I said, “Hi!” Her mouth dropped open and she backed up about another 5 feet right to the edge of another room. Then she grew old and wrinkly right before my eyes, and shrunk about 1 foot in height. Then she turned into an old wrinkly, gray haired man, and then she turned into a grayish and green cloud. By this point I was so shocked by her transformations that I woke and voice recorded my lucid dreams. I guess she didn’t feel very safe being around me. I just wanted to talk to her, holy smokes, chill!

I was lying in bed, consciously awake with my body asleep, and then I got some very faint vibrations. I could feel one of my legs floating around. I thought great, OBE time! Yeah! I tried to leap out of bed, but my physical body moved, and it was over, and then I fell asleep.

The next dream was a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (DILD). The dream leading up to this DILD was very interesting and fun, but I’ll jump forward to the DILD. I walked into a utility room, and at the far end of the room was a pretty Asian woman cleaning something in a sink. When I saw her I became instantly lucid! I remembered my dream intent to visit with my daughter. The room had a landing at the door, and then it dropped down a couple of steps into the room. I was standing on the landing, and I couldn’t see the entire room. I bluntly said, without introductions, “Where’s my daughter?” She looked at me slightly confused, shrugged her shoulders, and said, “I don’t know?” I called, “Daughter please come, I’m lucid!” The woman suddenly looked with interest to the corner of the room, which was hidden from my field of view.

To my surprise, a beautiful, dirty blonde haired woman came running around the corner and into my arms. I said, “Daughter, is that you?” She happily replied, “Yes, it’s me dad!”, and then she planted a big kiss right on my lips. I was thinking to myself, she doesn’t sound like my daughter, and my daughter certainly isn’t so quick to give me a big kiss on the lips. An elderly woman then walked into the room beside us and she pointed her finger at the woman I was hugging, and she shook her head side to side to let me know that wasn’t daughter. I understandingly nodded at the older woman, and then she smiled back at me. I thought to myself, well since I’m here I might as well hug her a bit longer, since, well, she was quite beautiful, and she felt pretty real to me! After about 10 or 15 seconds, I let her go, and I went off to find my daughter.

I walked out the building and onto an outdoor, karaoke stage. There was small crowd of people, and so I decided to give it a try. I forgot about my intent to visit with my daughter. Distractions, distractions….., so I picked up the microphone, and the DJ put on an old song from the 70’s. I recognized the song, but I couldn’t remember the words, so I tried to do the best I could, but I sounded like crap and out of tune. Then I notice a woman walking through the field in red skirt and jacket, and this clued me to remember my lucid dream intent. Instantly, I dropped the microphone, and tried to fly to her, but I couldn’t seem to get any altitude, and I landed in the crowd. My vision faded and I woke.

    10. Meeting with Loved Ones and Not so Loved Ones - February 11, 2015

      by , 02-15-2015 at 04:49 AM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream (WILD). This was a very vivid string of lucid dreams, more vivid and clear than waking life itself. After a 1 hour Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) routine I closed my eyes and meditated. I focussed on visualize on having a stack of 10 or so coins in my hand, then opening my hand and allowing the coins to fall. It started off as flashes of light and over about 15 or 20 minutes I had reasonably clear imagery of this happening, then my body was asleep, but my mind was conscious, and I simply let all thoughts go, and I let the imagery present itself however it may happen. I simply went with the hypnogogic imagery, and I did not influence it. The imagery transitioned into a lucid dream after about a half hour, and I found myself standing there in my parent’s house. I could hear my poodle barking outside.

She always barks when she’s ready to come in, so I ran for the back door to let her in. It was nighttime, and there was nobody else around. When I opened the backdoor I saw my dog standing at the bottom of the concrete steps, and she illuminated by what looked like a fog light from above. There isn’t a fog light there in the waking world, so I looked up to see where the light was coming from. To my surprise I saw a glowing sphere above the house and it was projecting a beam light down on my dog. It was directly above us, so I floated my feet upwards, and I rotated my body so I was in lying in a horizontal position looking up at the light. The light then began to move upwards and it drew me along. I slowly rose, mesmerized by light, and soon I could see the outline of the clouds against the starlit sky. Seeing the stars and the clouds so vividly made me excited and I returned the void, where I was once again consciously aware with my body was asleep.

I found myself in a false awaking, and I lost lucidity, because I really thought it was real. I could hear my wife in the kitchen talking to a friend. The house was a place where we use live back in the late 80’s. That should have been enough to tip me off that I was dreaming, but it didn’t ‘click in’. My wife came into the room and snuggled in with me for ‘sexy time’, but our bedroom door was open, and my wife’s friend peaked around the corner. At this point I became lucid, but I felt totally uncomfortable with the situation, so I didn’t engage the moment. Actually I haven’t done ‘sexy time’ while lucid since my mid-teens due to a bad lucid experience, but I definitely would like to try this with my wife when I don’t have an audience! Thank you very much! I slipped back into ‘the void’ (Nrem).

I entered another dream lucidly, and I found myself in some sort of empty warehouse. My mother in-law was standing there amongst many other dream figures (My dear mother in-law passed in 2001). Remembering my mantras to connect with my daughter (My daughter passed in 2013), I looked at mom and asked where my daughter was. As soon as I said it, she walked up beside me, to the right, and I said, “Daughter is that you?” because she looked different, and she said in her exact voice, “Yeah, it’s me!”, so I scooped her up into my arms. As I held her close she morphed into her true physical appearance. I told her I loved her, and I started to slowly bounce around the perimeter of the room, facing inward. While lucid, you can jump up and slowly float down, like you’re in low gravity, kind of like bouncing on the moon. Her feet were dangling in the air, and I asked her, “Hey daughter, how’s the food is in Heaven?” She replied, “Huh?”, so I repeated the question, “How’s the food in Heaven?” She happily said, “That’s the first thing people always ask me about heaven! Oh, dad.” We bounced past one of the windows, and I saw people standing on the sidewalk. My vision started to fade, so I focussed on my hand, but unfortunately everything went black. Darn…..

I remained perfectly still and I visualized myself back in the dream, and then I was, except I was now across the street in another warehouse! I lost lucidity again, and I was looking for a place to sleep, so I could get back to be with my daughter. A short and very wide woman walked up beside me wearing a hooded parka, and asked what I was doing, so I replied, “I need to find a place to sleep so I can lucid dream.” She pointed at a carpet on the floor and said, “How about there?”, and then she pointed at an old recliner on a pile of junk and said, “How about there?” Then she pointed at an old wooden chair and said, “How about there?” I became semi-lucid because I realized this is probably a dream, so I didn’t care about sleeping in a filthy place, so I opted to sleeping on the carpet. I laid down on the carpet and looked up at the obese hooded woman and said, “I’ll sleep here.” Just as I said that the woman morphed into my mother in-law. She was in her late 50’s.

I said to my mother in-law, “I love you!”, and she replied, “Oh, so now we know!”, as I watched her grow younger to be in her late 20’s, she was very beautiful! Then I said, “I really miss you.”, and she distractedly replied, “Oh, okay.”, as sunglasses materialized in her right hand and she tried to quickly put them on, but she accidently dropped them. Quickly, another set of sunglasses appeared in her hand and she fumbled to put them on. Two men appeared in the direction she was looking. One fellow was “clean cut’ and casually dressed, and the other fellow had long hair, a leather vest, and was covered in tattoos.

The ‘clean cut’ guy was holding a scalpel in his hands, and the tattooed man was holding a stainless jug containing some sort of chemical. Suddenly the ‘Clean cut’ guy raised the scalpel up and said, “We’re going to cut you eyelid open and pour kerosene in there.” Instantly and firmly I replied, “No, you’re not going to do that!” I quickly took the scalpel from him and I broke the blade off, and rubbed the broken shard against my eyelid and said, “Let’s get this straight, you want to cut my eyelid open, and pour kerosene under my skin. What possible benefit would that have for me? Is there any reason at all? What could that possibly do?” I was firm and direct and right in his face. My mother in-law said, “Yeah, what good could that possibly do?” I then noticed the ‘clean cut’ guy had scars in his eyelids. The tattooed guy then dropped the stainless, kerosene jug on the ground. It appears they both got fed-up with my defiance and walked away, so I quickly picked the jug up and chased after the tattooed guy.

I grabbed the tattooed guy by his shoulder and spun him around, and I said, “You forgot your kerosene. Why don’t you take this somewhere and start a fire!” He then looked very sad and insulted, and then feeling some remorse for what I said, I placed my hand on his shoulder and said, “It’s okay, I’m just joking, I appreciate you stopping by.” He turned and walked away without the kerosene, and then I slipped back into ‘the void’.

I was consciously awake, but with my body asleep, and I was reviewing the LD’s I just had. Should I wake myself up and voice record these lucid dreams, or risk having another lucid dream and forgetting what just happened? I decided to continue on. Then, very unexpectedly, I felt somebody hugging me during Nrem. This dream figure was very big and broad, and worse yet, it was a man! Yuck! So pushed him away and told him to leave. That freaked me out, but I kept my cool, and then I was false awakened by the ‘clean cut’ guy from the warehouse.

I jumped out of bed and stood face to face with the same guy from the warehouse. He was standing in my room and glowing slightly white. He held the scalpel up to my face and asked, “Why won’t you do this? Let me cut your eyelid and pour kerosene in there!” I was angrily replied, “Why would I do this? It makes no sense. Why don’t you come back to me after I’m dead, when I have more time to think about this? I’ll probably be dead in 20 years, and you can ask me then. No wait, I’ll find you, and then we can talk about this. ” He looked totally freaked out by what I said and he slowly backed up wide eyed. He then shot forward at me and made a real distorted face, and this caused me to go back into ‘the void’.

I remained perfectly still and I tried to return to the warehouse to find my daughter. Next thing I knew I was standing between the two warehouses and I was perfectly lucid. Then the ‘clean cut’ guy ran out of the warehouse were my mother in-law and I were chatting earlier, and disappeared around the corner of the other warehouse where I was hugging with my daughter. I floated up in the air vertically a couple of feet of the ground, and I took off after him. I had thoughts of doing a high speed tackle! When I rounded the corner, there were now men five men walking together. One of them was the ‘clean cut’ guy; one was the tattooed man, and the other three I didn’t recognize. I floated up behind them quietly, as they walked; and then one fellow turned around and faced me in total shock. I then went into praying lotus position, floated around them, and then faced them as I was travelling backwards, floating. My movements were surprisingly smooth and precise. One of the men, who I didn’t recognize, started smiling at me. I guess it must have looked pretty funny seeing somebody in praying lotus position hovering in front of them as they walked. Uncontrollably I started to smile back, and I really didn’t feel any anger towards the ‘clean cut’ or the tattooed man. Then my waking world alarm went off, and I woke. Darn, I wonder what would have happened next.
    11. Accidentally Destroying a Restaurant - Feb 10, 2015

      by , 02-13-2015 at 02:36 AM
Wake Induced Lucid Dream using visualization and hypnagogic imagery (consciously awake with body asleep).

I entered this dream lucid, and I was following a man and woman as we walked through glass doors into bright daylight. I said, “Hey, I’m lucid!” with total excitement! They both instantly turned inwards and looked at me, and then at each other, with a questioning look. I unfortunately woke, but I remained perfectly still and focussed on getting back in there.

I again entered a dream lucid, and found myself walking in a mall, surrounded by people. Right beside me was a couple, and they were both really tall and fit. I spoke what I was thinking, “Wow, are you ever tall! How tall are you?” The woman gave me a dumbfounded look and said, “I’m 6 foot 3.” I replied, “Holy smokes you’re tall, you must be good at sports!” She gave me one of these stereotypical looks and mumbled, “Whatever.”, and walked away. To my right was a restaurant lounge area full of people, so I decided to go in there and explore.

Standing alone in the restaurant was this dazed, sleepy looking woman in her early 20’s (very pretty). She seemed totalled spaced out, and I thought maybe she’s also a dreamer, so went up and put my hand on her shoulder and asked how she was doing. She slowly became focussed and said, “I’m doing fine.” I introduced myself and we started to ‘chit chat’ as we walked around the bar area. I forget what we were talking about, but it was everyday stuff. After about 3 or 4 minutes she started to look really tired and despondent, so I put my arm around her waist to hold her up, and I said, “Don’t fall asleep, please stay a bit longer!”, and she slurred, “I can’t help it.” A couple of dream figures came running up to me to ask what I was doing. I said, “She falling asleep and she needs to return to her bed.” I laid her down on the floor, and she quickly passed through the floor like she was laying in quicksand. When her body was half way through the floor, her clothes and body morphed into the appearance of ceramic tile (This was very cool).

My boss from work walked up to me and said, “Hi!”, and then my vision faded to black, but I could still hear everybody talking in the restaurant. I yelled, “I can’t see anything, keep talking to me until my vision comes back, please!” I chatted with my boss for about 30 seconds, and then everything came back with perfect clarity. By this point there was about a dozen dream figures standing around, and three of them were my childhood friends, Glen, Julian, and Bruce. I looked at them and said, “We’re dreaming right now!”, but nobody seemed to agree with me so I said, “Or maybe this is your reality?” Julian looked at me and said, “Sure, that’s it.”

We all stood around chatting for a bit, and then I said to Julian, “Lets bounce!” We jumped up and then slowly floated down, and every time we went higher and higher. The restaurant ceiling was at least 30 feet up, and Julian unexpectedly flew up about 20 feet and then came speeding down onto his butt causing a shock wave to go through the entire restaurant. We all found this really amusing, and we laughed real hard, so I decided to give it a try (show off my lucidity skills).

I decided to fly up real high, so I could get some speed when I was coming back down, but I was looking downward as I flew up, and then I accidentally hit the restaurant’s ceiling with my back. The entire restaurant ceiling bowed and distorted upwards into a dome, and then the walls caved inwards. People started to scream and shout, and all my friends took off running. I quickly decided to fly back down and blend into the crowd, but the ceiling was stuck to my back, and I stretched downward to within 10 feet of the floor. ‘All hell broke loose’ when the ceiling let go of my back and shot upwards! People were running around frantically, and the roof was coming down in pieces, with water was pouring everywhere! The bartender angrily shouted, “Who’s doing this, I can’t stand it!” The last thing I saw was water pouring down on top of the bartender, as he frantically tried to hold his counters in place. Then I woke up.
    12. My Mom’s Friend - Jan 16, 2015

      by , 02-11-2015 at 01:52 AM
In this dream I was standing in a hotel lobby. A beautiful curly, red haired woman walked through the doorway wearing a one piece bathing suit. Bah boom, I’m lucid! I immediately said, “Woo Hoo!” The blonde woman beside looked less than impressed with what I said, but the red haired woman smiled. They were both in their 20’s. She walked past me and said, “Thank you.” Probably my great aunt. Then to my surprise, my mom walked in and I said, “Hi mom, thanks for stopping by! Ah, sorry for saying ‘woo hoo’.” My mom looked at me and said, “What?” The blonde woman spoke up and said, “She didn’t hear what you said.” I really wasn’t at all concerned, because my mom has seen me do much worse, and I was just being polite. Behind my mom was one of her best friends, Doris.

I walked with my mom and Doris into a room off the lobby. It was cluttered with junk, and looked more like a storage area full of very old furniture and belongings. The blonde haired woman and the redhead followed behind us, and then they gradually aged to be in their late 50’s (probably so I wouldn’t be distracted). Doris was looking carefully at the stuff in the room. I put my arm around my mom’s waist and walked around the room checking out the ‘old stuff’. I asked Doris how her son Dave was doing, and she looked momentarily confused, then replied, “Fine.” I felt my lucidity failing, so immediately started to swirl, but I woke up.

    13. Firemen Crossing a Bridge - Jan 13, 2015

      by , 02-11-2015 at 12:45 AM
I was consciously awake, but my body was asleep. ‘The vibrations’ started, then I leapt to me feet, and I was ‘off to the races’ (OBE). There is a blank in my memory regarding what happened next, but I ended up at our neighbourhood park wearing my CPAP mask, and I was still wrapped in my blanket. I tore all this crap off, and then to my dismay, the only thing I was wearing was my gotch. Right in front of me was the park’s bridge, surrounded by cattails. Out in the cattails was a big barking dog, which suddenly came running straight at me! I felt a bit scared, and then I reminded myself that I was lucid. The dog then turned into a small poodle, and it stood right beside me wagging its tail.

A fire truck then pulled up on the opposite side of the bridge. Three firemen jumped out of the truck and grabbed a coiled up fire hose, and they came running over the bridge, all humped together carrying the hose, and they didn’t even notice me. They ran right past me, and then continued across the park’s field. Where they were going, I had no idea, but there certainly weren’t any fires around here. I thought to myself, “So, this is what firemen dream about.” The little poodle disappeared and a woman appeared on the opposite side of the bridge. I tried to fly to the woman, but I couldn’t get much altitude and I landed on the hill beside her, and then I was back in bed.

    14. Troubles Doing Reality Checks - Feb 7, 2015

      by , 02-08-2015 at 10:17 PM
In this dream I was in my home, which I didn’t recognize, and my wife was jumping up and down trying to look through cracks in the window blinds. Hmm, I must be dreaming. Let’s check! I looked at my hands, they looked perfectly normal. I took my right point finger and tried to push it through my left hand, nope, it doesn’t pass through. Then I pinched my nose and tried to breathe out, nope, I couldn’t breathe out. I was positive this was dream, so I decided to try and stick my hand through the window. Nope, it wouldn’t pass through. Then I tried to walk through a wall, nope, I couldn’t walk through it. What the heck is going on here? I walked outside, through the front door, and I saw my friend’s RV.

Something looked wrong with its exhaust pipe, so I laid on the ground to take a look. It was totally plugged up with carbon and soot, so I stuck my finger in there to try and clean it out. This didn’t make sense to me because the catalytic converter should of plugged long before this happened. I began to think again that this was dream, so I tried to fly. I flew face down along the asphalt road, grinding my nose in the process, and then I lifted upwards about 1 foot, but I was only travelling at about walking speed. The asphalt road then turned to gravel, and I could hear the wind howling past my ears and I could feel it against my skin, but I was still only going walking speed.

My body was vibrating violently while I flew (new experience). Next I decided to fly upwards, and finally, something worked! I shot up into the sky, and realized my dream environment was only about one city block square. Usually my lucid dreams are as big as the universe. Beyond the city block was an empty grid pattern extending as far as I could see. It seems I had my own personal and private dreamscape and I didn’t know it. This would have been a perfect place to have a peaceful visit. I need to note this experience for the future. I then woke up.

Soon I was back to sleep and in the same house. I didn’t realize I was dreaming. The house seemed familiar to me for reason (duh). I began to wonder where my truck was parked, because I didn’t remember parking it at this house, so I went out the back door to take a look. I couldn’t find my truck anywhere, and I once again began to question if I was dreaming. I did the hand, finger through hand, nose blow, and attempted flight, reality checks but nothing indicated I was dreaming. Hmmm, maybe I’m not dreaming, so I walked back into the house and then I woke up again.

I have a new rule: If I’m questioning if I’m dreaming, I’m dreaming! No more than one reality check needed.
    15. Little Visits with Loved Ones - Feb 6, 2015

      by , 02-08-2015 at 02:07 AM
Wake Back to Bed after about 5 ˝ hours’ sleep. Read some Stephen LaBerge for 45 mins. Incubated my dream and said mantras for 15 mins, and then back to sleep at 5:00 Am. Yes, lucid dreaming was embedded deep in my thoughts, and I was heavily focussed on meeting up with my daughter.

In this dream I had a pencil in my hand and I was drawing the horizon line through the sky as I ran towards a building. I went through front door and walked into an elevator, and then the doors closed. When the doors reopened I continued to draw the horizon line out of the elevator, through the air, and then onto a piece of paper. I was in a dimly lit room, but my piece of paper was brightly lit. I drew an arching line across the paper, and I was quite impressed with my horizon line! I flipped the piece of paper over to draw another horizon line, but on the opposite side of the paper was beautiful painting of a rock band performing. The paper was black velvet and the scene was drawn in florescent colors. In the corner of the painting was a small piece of loose leaf with blue printing (I should have read the note). I excitedly said, “Who painted this!” My daughter then answered from behind me, “I did!” I instantly replied, “It’s soooo good!” I then got excited and the dream ended before I became lucid.

This was followed by a false awakening. It was dark in my bedroom, and I was lying on my right side staring at the open bedroom door. I started to think about the dream I just had, and I wished I could have stayed there longer, became lucid, and hugged my daughter. Suddenly my daughter poked her face around the corner, and she was brightly lit, like somebody was shining a flashlight in her face. I jumped out of bed realizing this must be a false awakening! I took my right point finger and pushed it through my left hand (as a reality check). I’m Lucid. I ran towards the door to hug my daughter, but unfortunately I woke from the excitement.

As I’ve mentioned in my other dream journals I recently bought a mini voice recorder where I simply push a button and voice record my dreams so I can journal in the morning. After voice recording this dream, I fell asleep physically, but my mind was conscious, and I entered a dream in the lucid state. Unfortunately, I forgot to voice record it during the night, and I forgot what happened by morning (it was a great LD). But, I do remember swirling at the end when I started to lose lucidity, and then I entered into another LD, which I remember very well. Here’s what happened:

I was walking through some cattails towards a sandy beach, and I was calling, “Daughter, Daughter, please come, I’m lucid.” I stepped onto the soft sand beach, and my daughter walked up beside me on my right and said, “Hi dad!” I put my arm over her shoulder, and I said, “Let’s go for a walk.” And my daughter replied, “Sure!” It was an amazing beach boarding a freshwater lake. There were small waves rolling in, and my daughter was walking bare feet with the waves gently washing past. She then said, “Dad, I have to tell you something”, and I replied, “Yeah sure.” She then started to tell my something really interesting, but the lucid dream ended, before I could understand what she was telling me. Darn! I woke and voice recorded the dream. I then fell back to sleep and had several more interesting and fun dreams. Then I woke and voice recorded them again. It was now 8:30 Am, and I thought I would try and have one more LD (After all its Saturday!). So I fell asleep, but my mind was still conscious, and I enjoyed much hypnagogic imagery, sounds, and voices, and then I got ‘the vibrations’ at about 9:30 Am. OBE time!

I felt 3 sets of minor vibrations lasting about 1 second each, spaced apart by about 10 seconds, and then there was a continuous vibration, where I felt like a shaken can of soda exploding, so then I leaped from my body, but I only made it half way out. I used all my strength to slowly rise out of bed and I was left standing in complete darkness. At this point I was questioning if I was actually standing, or if I was back in bed. I gradually opened my eyes and realized I was standing. Great! I headed for the bedroom door to get away from my body before I got sucked back in. Wait, what’s that? There’s a dark shadow standing between me and the door. I went to hug it, but my arms went right through it, like it wasn’t there. I thought maybe I was seeing things, so I turned and went to open the door, but I wouldn’t open. Then I realized why, there was a hand to the right of me holding it closed. The hand was lightly glowing, and I turned around to see who it was. Holy smokes, it was my dear mother in-law, who passed in 2001! She was standing there in a beautiful white robe.

She said, “Hi, please turn on the lights.”, as she pointed up at the light fixture. So, I went and flicked the bedroom light switch on, but not surprisingly, they didn’t work. Light switches often don’t work for me in lucid dreams so why would they work now? I then decided to say, “Lights on! Lights on!”, but they still didn’t turn on. My dear mother in-law then took a small transparent patch of material and waved it back and forth across the light switch, and then a mysterious light, under my bed, turned on. This light was orange, yellow, and white, and seemed to be slowly churning and mixing, not like anything I’ve seen. I then went and sat on my butt beside the bed to be in the light, and my mother in-law kneeled down beside me. She started to cry, and I could see the tears coming down her cheeks. I could feel her sadness and it was because of our family being separated in the afterlife, and also because of our great effort to stay connected. She looked right into my eyes, and she said my daughter has a message for me, “She said…..” Then I got sucked right back up into bed again, and I was awake. I got too emotional and woke up. This entire string of dreams was absolutely amazing, and I’m very fortunate to be able to experience this.
