      LeiCCh's Workbook

      Hi there!

I'm Lei, a pretty average 14-year old teen, coming from Croatia, Europe. I first heard about this lucid dreaming thing about six months ago, and decided to try it out. Got my dream journal going, tried doing RC-s as much as my memory kept me from forgetting, but after about a month or so, I slowly lost interest as I had 0 success.

As the school started, I remembered and decided to give it another go; and found this awesome, beautiful site! After reading an article or two, I couldn't help but register. The site is just so rich with material, I've been a member only for a couple of days, reading stuff non-stop, and I still feel like there's so much more to do! In these 2-3 days, I've been able to do more than a month or so by myself, following other guides; I am proud to say I've had my first lucid dream, even if not really exciting -> www .dream views. com /general-lucid-discussion /146837-lucid-dream .html

(I've only been registered for 6 days or so, so I can't write links yet. Just delete the spaces =D )

I have about 2-4 recall-able dreams per night, but I'm just too eager to get back to sleep and getting another chance to lucid dream, so I rarely write down anything until morning, but then I can't remember all the details. It's also worth mentioning that I have quite a busy schedule, with long-lasting school and plenty of activities. I also sleep in a room with my brother and sister, and I'm not allowed to set any alarms or they'll all wake up and tell my mom... Oh yeah, I'm also currently trying out the All Day Awareness thingy! Seems pretty cool so far, though a bit hard to keep up with when I'm not alone. ^_^

I believe that would be it! =D

Congratulations on your lucid dream, Leicch! I know how frustrating LD practice can be when one does not have successes, although personally I have found that the successes of LD practice should not be viewed as limited to just dreaming: I have found that lucid dream practice encourages self awareness, increased attention, memory building, and other positive self improvements. So even when I do not have a lucid dream, I find I get a lot out of the practice. However, of course, having a lucid dream is much better than not having one. So once again, congrats on your lucid dream, and wishing you many more to come!

That's great, congrats on the LD! It took me a full month of constant effort to get to the first LD, sometimes it takes more, sometimes less. The key is constant effort!
I understand the desire to get right back to bed to sleep and dream more! But it's really worth it to record the dreams right when you wake from them, the memories are so much better at that time. You don't have to set an alarm, you can "set intent" to wake up after every dream: "I wake up after every dream and remember the dream". Be sure to remain still while recalling the dream, because physical movement can engage the brain's "dream eraser".

Welcome to DILD class, and congrats on your first LD!

You know, writing down your dreams will help you in the long run. So as FryingMan said, it's really good to write them down.

Please ask, if you have any questions. happy dreams

Hey, thanks for all the coll feedback! Sorry for not posting in a while, I just didn't have anything important to ask, really.

That is, until today. Another lucid this night! Woot!

I was basically "spectating" another dream I already had a couple of times, and knew it was a dream. As it started to get boring, I closed my eyes and said "Whiteness", and it all disappeared. I became lucid!

In this dream, it seemed much more real, and it lasted a good 5-10 minutes I'd say. I actually met my karate-teacher there, but I didn't remember him nor he remembered me. We were just floating in the whiteness, and we talked a bit. (Can't remember what he said, but it turned out he was sent to be my Lucid Dream Trainer.) He talked for quite a bit, and I listened, even if it was mostly the stuff I've read here on DreamViews. Suddenly, he gave me my first task; I had to turn the whiteness to an oak forest, and place us in it. I imagined it, and expected us to be there. By the time I opened my eyes again, we were in the forest, but it was still all squigly and squishy and weird, stabilizing very quickly into something that completely looked like reality! Then my teacher asked me to grow a tree, and he demonstrated it. He pointed his hand towards the grass, and like he was using some sick magic, a leaf of grass started growing and swirling and changing into bark, it grew thicker and higher and soon branches started separating. It continued until the tree was even bigger than the others in the forest. It was, without doubt, the most amazing, fascinating and beautiful thing I'd ever seen, even counting my waking-life! I failed to do it, even after several attempts. He just said it's perfectly okay and normal; and that I should think about growing that tree every day at 11 o'clock. It all pretty much swirled in and faded out by then.

I don't quite get what he meant by that, (DC saying gibberish?) but I'll definitely do it. Every day at 11:00 AM! =D

Sorry for wall of text, opinions, maybe advice?

Sweet! Next LD I am definitely going to call for my DG to appear and teach me how to have loooooooooong LDs and to instruct me in control tasks: DC summon, portal creation to other places, flying, motion, how to change my environment drastically, teleport, how to get to my dream palace.

Well, he could have been your real dream guide. Someone, who is watching you and teaching you, when he feels you are ready to receive. Or, he was just a random DC. Either way, it sounds like a very nice experience. Congrats!

Hey! I think I'm really starting to get the hang of this. I believe I had another Lucid Dream tonight, though rather short.

I still had no intention of doing anything special in the dream, I just kinda followed it aware of it being a dream until I had to take control in the dream. (We were shouting to a friend, but he was wearing headphones so I made them disappear, it happened the moment I wished for it.) From there on the dream started fading, even when I tried to rub my hands together, like I separated back into my waking life body.

      All in all, Yay! :3
