      Raevous' Workbook

      Hi.

I would like to know more about this method. It'll be suitable for me since I'm a student. I want to master lucidity in order to improve my waking life (it really sucks). I want to experience the fun I can't experience here in the waking world. that's all.

I already started recording my dreams and experienced some lucid dreams, and i have some problems:

      1. My lucid dreams are pretty short.
      2. Sometimes, when I'm in a lucid dream, my consciousness drifts away and then the dream continues as a non-lucid one.
      3. My lucid dreams usually start at a paralysis, if I didn't overcome it, I will wake up.

I would like to ask for some help, thanks.

I have read many stories of people that have been able to improve their waking life through their lucid dreaming daytime practices and through the lucid dreams themselves. Try not to see it as an escape from your waking world but as something that can improve it while having a whole lot of fun at the same time!

I already started recording my dreams and experienced some lucid dreams, and i have some problems:

      1. My lucid dreams are pretty short.
      2. Sometimes, when I'm in a lucid dream, my consciousness drifts away and then the dream continues as a non-lucid one.

      1. This will improve with time and practice but the biggest thing that you can do initially is practice/daydream/visualize how you will react at the moment that you become lucid. In that moment you should stop, look around while rubbing your hands together and touch the things around you in the dream world...soak it in. As you start to go around the dream world remind yourself "I am dreaming" or something similar. There are some other tips, but if you get that down you will have made a huge stride. Try to avoid posts about other people having problems with "this or that" unless it is something that you already have had an issue with and you are looking for the replies with how to handle those situations. Where one person has a problem with something there are often more people that handle such things with ease their very first time...so just think "that doesn't have to me."

      2. The above answer will help with this...remind yourself that you are dreaming and practice/daydream/visualize this during the day and/or as you are going to sleep.

      3. How long have you dealt with this? Did you have this before you started lucid dreaming? It sounds like you know what it is that you are dealing with but a lot of people use the wrong term for the various things that you experience as you are falling asleep so I am just double checking. If you have any doubt as to what you are experiencing with this "paralysis" I would read this informative post: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...explained.html

      Thank you ,

It started when I got my 6th or 7th lucid dream, after that, most of my LDs consists of paralysis. When I became lucid, It looks like I'm pulled in the floor, and that's where the paralysis starts. I didn't overcome it at first, and it sucks, I almost have a lucid nightmare because of that.

Ohh I'm sorry, I mean, paralysis inside a dream I really hate it when it happens, it ruins the fun of my Lucid Dreams.

Perhaps come up with a foolproof word that simply by thinking of the word it "unfreezes" you instantly...If you know that it will work, then it will. Remove all doubt.

I had 2 LDs in a row last night , one DEILD and one DILD. Good thing paralysis didn't tampered my happiness . It's also good that I sometimes wake up after a dream. This greatly increase my DEILD chances
