portals never work to me :( help .

hi ,, i cant teleport to the place i want :S . first time i tryed the portal took me to the middle of sea , and this night when i make an (invisible portal so i dont close my eyes ) i jumped in it and i have a false awake , i heared a deep voice from a guy i know some how he is from DV , he said "thats not the way to use a portal" , so i came here to ask . plz help > "srry for my bad english" .

While creating the portal, visualize the EXACT place you want to go to. To not let your mind go off that time and place for a second, or your portal may take you somewhere where you don't want to be. You can also use a door, a mirror, a picture, flight, or linear acceleration to travel places.

Like mikeac said, visualization helps (it's good to visualize when you're awake too, so you get an even better picture of where you want to go in the dream). Imagine the place you want to be in and expect the portal to take you there. Try considering where you'll be in relation to the location too. If you want to teleport to a park, will you end up under a tree, looking out over a field, or standing on top of a picnic bench?

Visualize the crap out of your destination, of passing through the portal right into your destination. That's all any of us can tell you, besides good luck.

I once used a map of the world... you could try that.. My classmates and I started talking about a place, next thing I knew, I was in the back of a Mercedes Benz in that place Only problem, if you don't visualize, you won't get get what you expect most of the time Ive been struggling to get a good dream of me in the Doha Corniche.. But whenever I actually end up in Qatar, I'm usually in the middle of the desert or in Doha International Airport.... Once I even ended up in a tiny pond.. Its not the feel I'm aiming for... Once I did actually end up in what was supposed to be the Doha Corniche... But the buildings were not how they were supposed to look, and the bay was messed up as well.. (where were the dhows? Palm trees? Etc.)

the only time i teleported was when closed my eyes, visualized where i wanted to go, and spun around in circles a couple times before opening my eyes and i was there
