Dream Characters try to keep me oblivious to the fact that I am dreaming.

This is something fairly interesting, my DCs know that I am dreaming and try to keep me oblivious to it. When ever I notice something strange and realize I am dreaming they instantly realize that I have "woken up" in the dream. They will all instantly stare at me and say something like "he's awake" or "he knows the truth, get him." Then they all attack me (kind of like in Inception, when that girl starts changing things and gets attacked). This was going on before I saw the movie so don't blame it on that. This is starting to piss me off, it is a reason why I lose interest in LDing after a month or two. This doesn't happend every time I become Lucid, just sometimes. It is getting old though. What should I do?

It's true. Hug them to throw them off, or beat the bloody crap outta them. Your choice, but the former is much more effective.

Should I ask them what there problem is? I think maybe my unconscious mind is trying to tell me something.

You can do that too. Whatever you think may work will probably work.

Probably won't work for you, but when my dream characters get uncooperative I offer them weed and it always calms them down. I don't even give it to them, I'll just say something like why don't we smoke some weed and they get pretty complacent. Pretty sure this is because I love weed, so might not work for you.

How do you feel in these dreams? Angry, paranoid, anxious?

Maybe you could try to plant thoughts into their heads. I was working on this a while back, but had a long dry spell since then. You could either make a specific dc tell you why they're doing it, or just make them all chill out.
157 is a prime number. The next prime is 163 and the previous prime is 151, which with 157 form a sexy prime triplet. Taking the arithmetic mean of those primes yields 157, thus it is a balanced prime.

my Dc's dont attack me, but theyre b8tches about distracting me :"[ they know when ive woken up in a dream as well, and they always have something to distract me with.shiny doors, rips in the space time continuum,a hot guy. Feel for you :[ im with Stonedape, since technically, they are you, offer them something that calms you down. Or say something that usually people use to calm you down. I normally just tell my DC's to shut up and go away. they get their feelings hurt and leave

Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible.

You could plainly ask them to stop, and if it doesn't work you can transport yourself to another place.

When they all start coming, fight them off.

How curious. Do you think you could ask DC's to kindly remind you that you are dreaming?

If I ever run into an uncooperative DC, I simply tell them what they should be thinking/feeling/doing and they always follow suit.

creepy, i don't wanna hijack your thread but if you believe in astral projection at all, there's lots of stories of astral entities/beings that look shocked and/or upset that you're out of body and try to scare you to "wake you" or have you "return to your body". just a thought, but maybe some people in the beyond dreaming section might have a few ideas if its within your sphere of beliefs.

strictly speaking of LD's though, perhaps it's your own fear/doubt that you'll be able to have lucid dreams or have better dream control that is making your subconscious effect the actions of your DC's to wake you up? if that makes any sense.

I think this is quite interesting and funny at the same time.

The dream characters are probably acting the way you expect them to, I guess. Either that or your subconscious think that's how dream characters are supposed to act.
You should remind yourself that they can not hurt you. They are only dream characters, they are but a small manifestation in your dream.

I sometimes have trouble with dream characters. My dream characters can't actually seem to disobey an order. If I gather some confidence and demand that they obey, they will.
I'm guessing the problem will solve itself after you have at least one successful non-hostile DC dream. By that time your mind will probably start growing accustomed to friendly dream characters.

I get away by simply hovering above them. This has helped me avoid dogs, alligators, and hostile people. Its funny that they can not seem to fly even through I can. From a safe height ask them why they attack you.

A thing I have not heard anyone else do was to dematerialize, they can punch but their fist, arrows, or bullets go right through.

While fighting them off yell for help. "I NEED HELP HERE!" or "SOMEONE HELP ME NOW!" This way you can generate some people on your side at least. Look at sci fi stuff for great monsters to ask for help like giant trolls or friendly dragons. The helper that you'd most want to see is the one you should wish for.

"Me CRUSH mean dream people!!!! Protect Master!!!"

      or
Something more intelligent and with a lot more bad-assery.

Try to talk to them. Usually in my nightmares (non-lucid ones) when monster etc. is just about to kill me, I shout something like "Wait! Why are you trying to kill me. I havenīt done anything bad to you", or something like that. Either that or then you can just beat the hell out of them.
