Travel through time 'without' using the TARDIS. Difficult because the temptation is almost unbeatable.

Summoning a specific person as a dream character. It's really hard and always
      ends up being someone else.

I don't think summoning is as easy as it would look. As Shadow has mentioned before summoning a specific person is hard. In my second Lucid Dream I tried summoning a specific person, ended up in either not getting anyone to appear or found other person. So I would think that that's kinda hard.

Also I think getting a nuclear bomb drop right on you and not waking up would be hard, wouldn't it?

In my experience, large events like thinking you died or having a dream O whilst having dream sex, don't wake you up necessarily. Rather, they interupt the dreams flow or get you excited and lead to a false awakening. You can actually wake up from these things, sure. But false awakenings are more prevalent then you might think.

TARDIS isn't a thing you do, man, TARDIS is a state of mind. An ideal.

Also it is a 1950s police box capable of traveling through time and space. That, too.

Flying took a while for me to get the hang of.. one of the first LDs I had was when I was still a kid, almost 20 years ago. I tried to fly but could only float about a foot off the ground. After that point, and for years after I would sometimes have (mostly non-lucid) dreams where I would experience the free-fall sensation. Like jumping off a cliff or going on a roller-coaster or swimming off a waterfall or riding strange creatures through the air and so forth. Then I started having LDs where I would be able to fly, and I noticed the sensation was quite similar - except its almost like you are free-falling in a certain direction, rather than towards the ground. Also the sensation of being lighter than air, or "less than weightless" is very much a part of it. For me it seems like it was a necessary step to become very accustomed to that free-fall sensation, because when I am flying in a LD it seems very real, in a physical way. Its still difficult to control at high speeds because it feels so real, and is super exciting. Its also difficult to be extremely high up in the air, like past 1000 feet or so - because if you look down that is also super exciting.

Its necessary to get accustomed to these things gradually, because you don't want to unintentionally anesthetize yourself but at the same time you don't want to get too worked up either. Having the experience of flying without any sensation other than a visual change in scenery is not the same at all, not even close. The physical and emotional sensations are key. In my experience, flying is a great opportunity for being able to temper the mind to retain lucidity of exquisite sensations while not overwhelming you with them. Its all about expanding the capacity for balance.

Dream practices like this are helpful for waking life as well, especially in a tantric context. However it requires an attitude that seeks to go beyond entertainment value only. It is a different kind of exercise, but entails the same commitment and dedication you would find in any other training endeavor - like martial arts or body building or pro chess. It is actually a very ancient tradition, known as dream yoga.

Create 50 clones of yourself, that all have the same consciousness as you, and you will be able to remember from all of their points of view upon awakening. Then, go into a huge war zone and fight a free-for-all battle with telekinesis to throw stuff at each other, and super strength and speed.

If it's night time, make the sun rise. That's always nice to see.
We may guess that in dreams life, matter, and vitality, as the earth knows such things, are not necessarily constant; and that time and space do not exist as our waking selves comprehend them. Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." H.P. Lovecraft

The most advanced form of dream controll, in my opinion, is to be able to get rid off all limitations and expectations you impose to yourself by believing dream controll is hard. When you understood that, the dream world is yours.

One time I typed what i wanted to do on the memo on my phone and held the save button for 10 seconds while covering my eyes. After I uncovered them, I was perfectly in the scene I wanted to be in.

split yourself into two clones, change the sex on one of em and have sex with yourself while experiencing the scene from both perspectives simultaniously
